Besides loving that cover **fans self**, I really enjoyed Jasper and Libby. This story actually brought me out of a reading funk, not one brought on by bad books, but real life. It delivered the super sweet warmth offered by the writing duo that was surprisingly missing from the last release. These two were meant to be, but fought it for the sake of their family. When they discover one another's feelings, though, it's on! I get a giggle out of how these "virgins" know exactly what to do every time. There must be some "sex for virgins 101" classes going on in their world :) The OTT possessive alpha male is definitely present in Jasper. The innocent, sweet vibe with Libby is strong. This was just what I needed. Safety: The man can't stand for Libby to look at anyone but him. Libby only has eyes for him. There is an attempted rape.

2.5 Smutty Stars
Don't get me wrong. I love Alexa Riley. Her taboo smutty books are really enticing. But I feel like her storylines are kind of repetitive and they are slowly getting old (in my opinion). This book was no different.
Libby Moore is secretly in love with her stepbrother Jasper Lewis. Jasper, on the other hand, feels the same way about Libby. Ever since Libby's mom married Jasper's dad, they've already been attracted to each other. However, Jasper didn't want to cross the line by hitting on his stepsister so he moved on his own so he can avoid her. But because they simply can't get away from each other and the sexual tension is always there, they're about to do the forbidden.
Just like Alexa Riley's previous books, this book was a short and fast moving read. What I loved about it was the fact that it has enough substance that equals the amount of smut. However, I didn't feel connected to any of the characters. The steamy scenes were of course, uber hot and Jasper was such a dirty talker but oh my, why did I encounter the word "kitty" again? I swear this word was always present in the previous books. (?) lol.
Anyways, I believe fans of Alexa Riley will enjoy this book more than I did. I just don't think this is her best.

Nothing makes a cold winters day better than an AR book! I trully enjoyed reading this short smut story. It's your typical AR book but this time with a more taboo theme that makes the read even hotter. On one hand you have the forbidden fruit and on the other you know that if you disregard that, then that could lead to a whole new world of passion and secrets. Is it all worth it? Well, read the book to find out. For me, it definitely was a read that I enjoyed and had fun reading it. I'm sure for most AR fans the experience will be similar, if not better. That's about all I'm going to say about this sweet and sexy story. Wouldn't want to spoil the fun. ;)

NOBODY does a taboo smutty and sweet story like these two ladies! It was freaking PERFECT!!!
Libby was just sweet as one of her pies, and Jasper was absolutely swoon-worthy alpha. They have loved each other since they first laid eyes on one another when they were teenagers, and never once did did that that sweet and amazing love fade. It just kept growing and growing until they couldn't hide it anymore, as much as they tried. Of course they hid it so well the object of their devotion, thought their feelings and their love were unrequited, but once the cat got out of the bag (with a little push from their parents), there was no stopping them, or the explosion of sweet and sexy, OTT HOT times that they provided us, and boy, for two virgins, they sure gave us some fanning-ourselves, scorching burning-sheets moments. So, beware!!! LOL

3.5 stars - I enjoyed this sweet and steamy forbidden love story about step-siblings Libby and Jasper !
Jasper and Libby have loved each other since the moment they met. For the last five years they have been fighting their feelings knowing that acting on them will rip their family apart. All this time they’d always thought this crush was one-sided until one day they confessed and allowed all their thoughts and darkest desires they tried to shut down to take over. They then realize that it was not some fleeting feeling that’s going to go away in a week, a month, or even in fifty years, but the kind of forever deal neither was near ready to give up even if they are both terrified of what’s to come.

Alexa Riley always give us a short escape into OTT romance. The cover was really gorgeous! I was anticipated this but the reality is really different. Not a forbidden story... Boo!

I liked the slow-burn intimacy between Libby and Jasper. Moreover, another man take interest in Libby and it makes Jasper like a bulldozer. Literally.

I loved this book from start to finish. I've read various stepbrother romances but I have to say that Wanting My Stepsister is a very spicy and well written story line by Alexa Riley.
In this book we meet Libby and Jasper, who become related when their parents marry. Jasper is bloody hot, extremely sweet, lovable and adorable! It’s so easy to fall in love with him! Libby is super pretty and sweet and beautiful! She's got a nice charm, she’s fun, smart and spunky. I found myself emotionally connected to both characters. I was rooting for them, wondering if they would both realize what was right in front of their faces.
The chemistry between them is amazing. Their feelings for each other are evident, but how can they have this kind of relationship when they are stepbrother and stepsister? 2 ANNOYED STARS
**SPOILERS-ish AND RANTS AHEAD**
I got a chocolate-chip oatmeal cookie and was so excited to eat it because it’s one of the best things in the world despite being a common snack or dessert. I bit it and was appalled by the strange flavor that got in contact with my taste buds. The chocolates, my friends, were in fact raisins. Alexa Riley’s Wanting My Stepsister was a piece of raisin.
Libby, eighteen years-old, just graduated from college. She has never dated anyone and her mom was trying to talk her into it. Jasper, her stepbrother who’s three years older than her, just came home. BAM! You know what happens. Oh wait. For formalities sake, here’s how it went. Like in most step-sibling romances out there, these two were trying to not fall in love with each other, thinking that it would disappoint their parents or could ruin their family. Jasper moved out a few years ago to prevent himself from acting on his feelings for Libby. One day, Jasper gets a call from his dad that Libby was now dating someone. This caused him to come home immediately.
I honestly expected too much from this cookie even though its theme was such a cliché. I should have not.
Of all the Alexa Riley books I’ve read, this is one of those with a decent and visible story arc. You could really see how the plot developed. It wasn’t just about sex, sex, and more sex. Every piece of the story was well balanced with each other. But, despite having a good flow of events, I have noticed that it has the repetitive breeding theme that AR has been using again and again in their works.
I have never had a problem with AR’s writing until now. There was a lot of missing words, pronouns and prepositions specifically. My next and biggest problem with it was how irritatingly cheesy were the lines that Libby and Jasper were exchanging with each other after they discovered that it was possible for them to be together. I think a unicorn pooped a double rainbow somewhere. I love romance but I hate it when the couple can’t stop professing how much they love or want each other. It could have been swoon-worthy if they talked that way sporadically, but it was overdone.
Libby should just stop crying and worrying! (Maybe I should tell myself that.) Anyway, you guys know how much I hate it when a female protagonist depends so much on the guy for protection and for solutions to problems. There was this part wherein she tried to make things better for the two of them in her own way, but it was such a stupid move! I think anyone in their right mind who saw through Owen’s intentions would not meet up with him alone. I would not even meet up with him at all, if I were Libby. Libby’s physical and character traits were very common. She’s the curvy kind of girl whom we have all read about in every other romance or erotica out there. She was so effortlessly beautiful and sexy, but she was trying to hide it. Still, everyone was noticing her body! She was not new to me.
Jasper was the best thing in this novella, although there were times that I wished he just shut up. He was sweet and caring. And he’s Now that’s something I haven’t read about a guy in a long time. I’m not saying that I was swooning over him. It’s just that I find his character very adorableand dirty.
Speaking of dirty, the sex scenes were not even dirty and it was okay. BUT, I was so pissed that every time Jasper said something during those times, Libby would say “That’s so dirty.” QUIET, WOMAN! BOTH OF YOU NEED TO KEEP YOUR THOUGHTS TO YOURSELVES! I’ve never read so much unnecessary dialogues until this. I think that an author should be able to tell a story without adding too much conversation between his/her characters. Readers should be able to tell for themselves if the scene was a turn on and a character should just do her thing.
One last thing: "Gooey." That word was used to describe Libby's vagina. Of all the adjectives out there, why would you pick this? Seriously, why? It made me cringe so hard, I thought my face was going to stay that way for a long while.
Overall, this was okay. It was not bad, but I did not enjoy it as much as I expected to.

I got a chocolate-chip oatmeal cookie and was so excited to eat it because it’s one of the best things in the world despite being a common snack or dessert. I bit it and was appalled by the strange flavor that got in contact with my taste buds. The chocolates, my friends, were in fact raisins. Alexa Riley’s Wanting My Stepsister was a piece of raisin.
Libby, eighteen years-old, just graduated from college. She has never dated anyone and her mom was trying to talk her into it. Jasper, her stepbrother who’s three years older than her, just came home. BAM! You know what happens. Oh wait. For formalities sake, here’s how it went. Like in most step-sibling romances out there, these two were trying to not fall in love with each other, thinking that it would disappoint their parents or could ruin their family. Jasper moved out a few years ago to prevent himself from acting on his feelings for Libby. One day, Jasper gets a call from his dad that Libby was now dating someone. This caused him to come home immediately.
I honestly expected too much from this cookie even though its theme was such a cliché. I should have not.
Of all the Alexa Riley books I’ve read, this is one of those with a decent and visible story arc. You could really see how the plot developed. It wasn’t just about sex, sex, and more sex. Every piece of the story was well balanced with each other. But, despite having a good flow of events, I have noticed that it has the repetitive breeding theme that AR has been using again and again in their works.
I have never had a problem with AR’s writing until now. There was a lot of missing words, pronouns and prepositions specifically. My next and biggest problem with it was how irritatingly cheesy were the lines that Libby and Jasper were exchanging with each other after they discovered that it was possible for them to be together. I think a unicorn pooped a double rainbow somewhere. I love romance but I hate it when the couple can’t stop professing how much they love or want each other. It could have been swoon-worthy if they talked that way sporadically, but it was overdone.
Libby should just stop crying and worrying! (Maybe I should tell myself that.) Anyway, you guys know how much I hate it when a female protagonist depends so much on the guy for protection and for solutions to problems. There was this part wherein she tried to make things better for the two of them in her own way, but it was such a stupid move! Actual rating: 3.5 stars
I quite enjoyed the fist half of the story, it was sweet and a little bit angst ridden, just what I like. But from chapter 8 or so forwards things changed drastically and the story jumped into over the top territory fast. I knew it was going to happen eventually, in fact, that was what I though I would find right from the get go. However, up to that point, until the 55% or so, the story had shockingly developed in a very believable and tentative way. That is why the jump into OTT was too abrupt for me, thus, I would have preferred a smoother transition. From then on, what happened was more or less what you would expect of this kind of book. All the characters (not just the protagonist) actions switched into ridiculous mode. I guess that ridiculousness and lavishness is part of the appeal of this kind of story, but I just wish it could have been done with a less preposterous approach, maybe that way I would have connected more to it. Or maybe the problem is that my believes and principles are so separate from what is portrayed here that it is hard for me to enjoy it as much, even though I take it as complete and utter fantasy .
I admit that I feel guilty giving this book such a high rating. This book represents many ideas I consider unhealthy, but again, I knew I would find that here before picking it up, and I was willing to put it aside, to let it go so that I could enjoy the smutty and kinky aspects of the story, which ultimately, was precisely what I came looking for in here.
I did find what I primordially came looking for, and for that I am staying firm in my rating. Nevertheless, I do feel like I need to add that the attitudes and behaviors depicted here are based on tradicional stereotypes of sexual roles, thus it discriminates women as well as it perpetuates toxic masculinity. Hence, personally, I do feel aggrieved by it.
P.S.: If anyone knows of any book or story where I can find this silly smutty and kinky content but with forward thinking ideals regarding gender and relationships, please, PLEASE recommend them to me, I would love to read them.

Taboo theme and smoking hot 3,5 stars! Alexa Riley gave us another short smut story with a barely legal half siblings. And it's sweet and bawdy at once.
Libby and Jasper fell in love in the moment when they first saw each other. It was also their first meeting before the wedding of their parents. Over the years, they hide their feelings from their parents and one another. But when Libby came of age, Jasper no longer could deny himself what he really wants.
On the one hand it was very dirty, Jasper has really dirty mouth, and I'm sure you'll gonna love it. But it was also surprisingly sweet and too predictable. I was hoping for more taboo. But it still has a innocent young heroes and very steaming scenes.
How much you will be like this depends on what are your expectations. It's not as dirty as the description might suggest, but it's still quick, smuty short story, which will speed your blood and flip your heart with sweet moments.

Just what I needed!
Ridiculous, cheesetastic and delicious.
A few things were a bit odd , but after the last book I read, I just rolled with it in all of its creamy, vanilla sugar flavoured everything-ness.
Could have done without Jasper getting physical with the other dude-bro at the start, but he totally had it coming the second time around.
I just enjoy these so much for what they are.

I’m not really into step-sibling romance but the way Alexa Riley presented the story line had me wickedly entertained. Since this is a very short read all I gotta say two sexy step-siblings who happens to be virgins finally getting it on, ummmm yes please!!!!

I did enjoy this little number from Alexa Riley. The fact that they were step siblings brought a naughty taboo factor to the story.
The beginning had Jasper and Libby in misery. They each loved the other, but feared it was unrequited. Until they were forced to face their feelings, they wouldn't be happy.
The story was sweet, but we didn't get the sizzle until extremely late in the book (80% or so) I would have loved more steam from them, as well as more time as a couple. Once Jasper let go, he was alpha caveman all the way, growling "mine" and wanting to "breed" her. He was OTT protective.
Also, I've come to expect epic epilogues from them and this one left me wanting. ( I know, I couldn't believe it myself! )
All in all, it was a good book, just not my favorite. I still look forward to their next release!

Intense, sweet, passionate with super lovable AR characters!! Jasper and Libby won my heart from the first pages, Jasper is 100% caveman, possessive and all the way masculine which mad me go nuts for his character!!!
Libby had this purity, sweetness Jasper could say no all he wanted for thinking that this shouldn't be happening but well she broke down all his defenses..the results are well steamy, hot, passionate, enjoyable, refreshing, fun and most certainly love all the way!!!
Once again what's not to love?? You have magic floating in the whole story like a modern fairytale, even for a quick read it has many things to make fall in love with everything so i definitely recommend it and i'm looking forward to the next sugary fairytale!!

Antes que nada debo decir que no soy la mayor fan de esta tematica ( stepsister, stepbrother, stepdad, etc ) por lo que quizas eso influyo a que esta novela no me atrapara tanto como a otras personas, ademas tambien tuve la impresion de que las autoras dieron muchas vueltas sobre lo mismo, solo para alargar un poco mas la novela y eso no me agrado del todo, ya que uno de los aspectos que mas me gustan de los libros de estas autoras es que son directos y concisos.
En fin, Wanting My Stepsister es como todas las historias de estas autoras : ligera y sencilla, pero en mi opinion no esta entre las mejores de estas escritoras.

2.5 stars and I'm being kind with this rating.
I really should just stop reading this author but for some reason I keep going back.
I won't judge this book too harshly since it's following a tough act (Swan Song) to follow.
This book is 100% safe, but I am finding that 100% safe is generally 100% boring for me.
First I saw that AGAIN we have a "Curvy" heroine, who is AGAIN a great baker (I grow tired of the h baking pies and cooking). She is also weak, meek, childish...immature...young. Not my kind of heroine.
We also AGAIN get the whole "baby girl" daddy issues, which I LOATHE. It's creepy to me.
Gotta love "gooey pussy" yeah that was a LOL moment in the read.
The antagonist Owen, is not much of an antagonist, and IMHO Jasper was the asshole in this. Owen didn't deserve getting beat up and Jasper would be in Jail right now and probably sued up the ass for what he did. PS no police department takes a statement over the phone where they cannot identify the called physically (just saying..since I was a police dispatcher).
The ending tied up in a nice HEA as usual.
I know I got to throw logic out the window when I read these, but, I need a LITTLE bit of believeability. It would have also been nice to have more detail to this "forbidden" love. More scenes of them before he moved out.
I just didn't feel it.
Sorry I'm the unpopular one here, I guess I keep reading in hopes these books get a little better. Maybe they will.

Got to love a little AR pseudo-incest taboo smut. There was a glut of step family smut around earlier this year that I quickly tired of, but AR really knows how to write this filth.
She's a pie baking, home crafting, innocent gal, he's her older stepbrother, good with his hands and quietly besotted with the girl he thinks he can't have.
It's fast, it's filthy and it's also a sweet little story that makes the most of the tension created by their forbidden, taboo attraction. Kind of an inbetween reads palate cleanser of the filthy variety.
Standalone, complete story. Recommended if you're in the mood ;-)
