My name is Toni aleo and I'm a #PredHead, #sherrio, #potterhead, and part of the #familybusiness!
I am also a wife to my amazing husband, mother of a wrestler and a gymnast, and also a fur momma to Phoebe, Gaston el Papillon & Winston.
You can usually find me hollering for the whole Nashville Predators since I'll never give my heart to one player again. When I'm not in the gym getting swole, I'm usually writing, trying to make my dreams a reality or being a taxi for my kids. I'm obsessed with Harry Potter, Supernatural, Disney and anything that sparkles! I'm pretty sure I was Belle in a past life and if I could be on any show it would be supernatural so I can hunt with Sam and Dean.
Such a cute, sweet story for any Assassins fan. It's baby time for Baylor and Jayden but much like their life together, things don't always go as planned. Great to catch up with the Sinclair's - love this series
My first intro to the world of Toni Aleo and it won’t be my last! I’m a sucker for any hockey series...maybe I shouldn’t have started with a novella based on a couple’s romance from the team but it was short and sweet and can’t wait to dive into the entire series☺️.
Such a sweet and cute novella. I love being able to catch up with things in these novellas when they have some substance to them. This one brought in a lot of the Sinclair family and gave a take on Jayden and Baylor's relationship.
I loved the surprise that Jayden did for Baylor and just enjoyed reading this one. It was quick, witty and an overall happy read.
This one is actually a Bellevue Bullies book. But because Baylor and Jayden were drafted to the Nashville Assassins it's part of this series. Cute story about Baylor and Jayden becoming parents.
Read with Rating in 2016. Written Review added 2021:
I read Pucks, Sticks and Diapers in the fall of 2016 when I took a break from writing written reviews. I provided a rating only. If and when I re-read Pucks, Sticks and Diapers I will provide a more formal review. However, the rating was accurate at the time and I totally love Aleo's writing style and the entire series. It's a professional sports series based on the NHL team the Nashville Assassins.
Pucks, Sticks and Diapers was a novella within the series and should be read after Rushing the Goal (book eleven) and prior to Face-Off At the Alter (book twelve). Additionally, it includes a follow up from her spin off series, The Bellevue Bullies (Clipped By Love, book two). I highly recommend the Assassins series and all spin off series: The Bellevue Bullies, Nashville Assassins Next Generation, and The Ice Cats.
what a great novella about Jayden and Baylor. So cute that he surprised her with a wedding with all their closest friends and family. their banter hasn't changed and only intensified with Baylor's pregnancy hormones. a nerve wracking birth that pulls at your heart strings. HEA ending.
Loved the cover, it is soooo cute :) I realized how much I missed Sinclair's and Assassins. It was cute to read some parts of Baylor's pregnancy. It is a short story but it is an emotional one. I totally recommend you to read it. I really hope Markus will get his story too :)
I love the these two and was so excited to read about them and their baby. Can't believe how much action was packed into this novella but it makes me excited to read the next book
This book was just too cute!!!! I love seeing Baylor's pregnancy and her emotional rollercoaster. I loved her and Jayden's book but this one just melted me like Olaf! Her being mad at him for not wanting to cuddle had me laughing. I'd probably end up like that when I'm pregnant. Of course, the sweetest, tear-jerker moment was Jayden planning her a surprise wedding. He really is so thoughtful. Ugh, I wish he was real. Toni is making my standards so damn high! When she goes into labor, I cried. Seeing how he reacted and everything that followed, my heart just broke. This novella ends in an HEA. Simply amazing!
I missed Jayden's and Baylor's story by reading the Assassin series instead of the order the books were written, which really sucks. I didn't know they intertwined until it was to late. I do enjoy the Sinclair brothers, what little I have read with them and will revisit their series in time. The little scare at the end freaked me for a minute, just thought, oh no that can't do that, and luckily it didn't happen.
This story was very touching and sad . The part when Baylor had the baby made me cry . Jayden loves Baylor so much it shows after Baylor has complications from delivery , love the baby's name .
Loved this short story of Jayden & Baylor's new addition. It was warm and passionate and checked in with the rest of the family. Glad to see Markus back. Good read!!
Emotional roller coaster that you don't want to leave.. Jayden and Bailey their story is amazing.. now it is growing and follow along on this journey to see what curveballs life throws and also see how romantic Jayden can be when he puts his mind to it
Great novella, very interesting and was a great set up for the next book if you read the Bellevue bullies first, then assassins and forgot who Markus was. Sugary sweet to the extreme like a lot of Toni Aleo's books, but still a good read.
This was a cute novella to share more about Jayden and Baylor. So glad I read the Bellevue Bullies series after Phillip's book so I was up to date with the Sinclair family :).
Loved catching up with them and laughing about Baylor and her pregnancy mood swings.
I was about halfway through this when I decided to finish it over lunch at Wendy's. I laughed a few times out loud and then had to leave because I was in tears. Finished it at home and in tears all over again. Such a beautiful story.
This is a fantastic quick novella that bridges between full length books in the series. The story itself has a lot packed into few chapters. I laughed and then quickly found myself sobbing and at the edge of my seat. This series is a great addition to your book collection. Happy reading...enjoy!
Short book, but packed a lot of love in there. I was surprised to think that there are still women who pass in childbirth. The book was sappy, but easy on the COVID-19 blues.
Love these books. This series is so funny and they have sadness, happyness. Storylines have great flow. The characters are worth the read. Awesome team series. Read until the end.
Getting to see Baylor and Jayden get their wedding and baby Dawson in a matter of 24 hours is just perfect. They are the most amazing people and their family is awesome and supportive!
