Mia & Torch's story.
DAMN!! talk about some serious shit to overcome!
This author did a really good job writing a gritty all-in MC Romance. This book introduces us to Mia, Rebecca, Sammy, & Scarlett when they are rescued by the Tarnished Souls MC. You are then later introduced to Serenity which is Buck, the Prez's daughter and MC Princess.
From the very first meeting Mia is one badass chic just trying to protect the girls that have become her sisters in one of the worse times of her life.
I absolutely LOVED Torch. He is an uber possessive, total alpha male badass biker to his core!!
I definitely recommend this read!!

Wow!!!
I am now Mia and Torch crazy! This is definitely a darker mc read. It has grit and sizzle. This is my first time reading Dusty Lassetter but can't wait to read more. Torch has it all. Sassy females, sexy alpha bikers, and plenty of drama with action. Plenty of stories for this series.

Mia irritated me a bit.
Book 2 is serenity and taz but it left book 1 with a slight cliffhanger.
Mia and torch's story may have been done but it sucks that I would have to read another book just to finish the current situation that was happening.
I could see who everyone would end up with from just this book alone. Unless something big happens that changes who's attracted to who and the current pairings.
I dislike cliffhangers and prefer to have my story end with book 1. I don't like to be left waiting for another book that I might not like just to know the ending.

OF ALL THE MC SERIES FROM THIS BOOK. ONLY THIS ONE THAT MADE ME GIVE 5 stars because it was a great one. SAFE LOVE STORY ❤️😋🔥👍🏼

they meet in a very bad situation but i’m glad that the hero immediately feels very protective towards the heroine and the heroine is feeling it too like she feels that the hero is good for her. But because what she’s been through is very bad and rough, she sometimes doubt him at first though...
‼️THE MC here is pretty badass, we get to see some of the club wh*res around but NOT TOO MUCH AND THE PARTIES ARE NOT TOO WILD OR TOO OUT OF CONTROL you know...
‼️DRAMA WITH OW. It was the hero’s ex f*ck buddy, nothing serious. But the ow was getting too annoying for the hero to even continues... THE OW causes some drama TWICE BUT THE SECOND TIME WHERE SHE FINALLY GOT WHAT SHE DESERVE. THE HEROINE REALLY KICKED HER AND PUNCH HER AND SHE NEVER SHOWS UP AGAIN...
DRAMA WITH OM because the om wants her back but the hero killed him before he gotten too far...
OTHER DRAMA is about other people and not about both of them...

‼️the connection that both couples haves before they even officially dating, IT WAS HOT AND SWEET

BECAUSE both have talked about getting married and grow old together after the problems are solved. They moved in together already so...
i think for sure it’s a happy ending...

DNF 18%, if only I could give negative stars....
I had to stop reading it as soon as Mia was talking to Rebecca about allowing a man to touch her after being raped and Mia said that she didn't want to be broken so she made the decision to not let what happened to her control her life (great totally makes sense but it's not going to happen in less than a month AND there is nothing "broken" about being a rape victim).
Having Rebecca ask if she's broken and then Mia saying she's "just fractured" and then Rebecca saying that Scarlett is "broken".

What frustrates me is that the FMC was held captive for a month—abused and violated (r@ped) the moment the MMC rescues her, her entire focus shifts to ogling his abs, his body (dick), and even flirting with his friends 🙄. The story tries to paint her as feisty, but honestly, she comes across as emotionally incoherent and poorly written...stupid fucked up character.
Her Pov irritated me like hell. She could have taken time to heal. I’m not saying every survivor must act visibly traumatized....but after enduring a month of rape, abuse, starvation, and dehydration, you'd expect some depth. Some reckoning. A shift in how she views life, herself, her strength. Instead, she’s immediately fixated on Mmc's abs, dick, and flirting with random men. Like… seriously?

Arc by author in exchange for an honest review
Dusty Lassetter is a new author for me, but I must admit I really enjoyed the premise behind this book & I enjoyed Torch & Mia together. This is definitely on the darker MC side, and has everything you would probably find in an MC read. It's raw, dark, gritty, has a lot of alpha goodness & plenty of steam to go around. I think this series will only get better from here. Looking forward to reading more.

4.5 stars, a very good read. First Dusty book I've read, and I am soo glad I found it. It was raw, gritty, dark, but also damn sexy. I adore Torch, the hot-headed, alpha-male, tattooed, biker badass that he is.....yum! Mia is a good character, but I got tired of reading how strong she was, but in the next breath, she was saying she needed someone by her side. But I can't wait to continue to read Taz and Serenity's story next.

Introducing Tarnished Souls MC
I liked this book a lot, even though it really has a bunch of editing mistakes. All in all Torch & Mia's story was a good read. I'll be looking forward to Tax & Serenity's story next. Here's to hoping it will be edited better than Book 1...

Good start
Once I got into the bones of the story it really took off. Loving the storyline. Hot sex, alpha men and strong females is my kind of MC reads. Now onto the next book.

Loved it immensely
Wow just totally loved this book!! There are some dark and triggering parts but also some laugh out loud moments .. butt darts oh my I re read that paragraph a couple times just for the laugh!! I love torch and Mia can’t wait to get my read Taz next

Great start to a series

This was a great book, I highly enjoyed the H/h. They had great chemisty and just sucked you into the book...
.... But however, I don't like the tone set for further books in regards to the ages of the character. I'm not a fan of a huge age gap in between the H/h. I don't mind it in a series when its the chatacters in one of the books, but to make all the girls so young and all the men much older in all of them. I can't bring myself to enjoy the series. This factor totally turned me off to the series.

Not my usual MC
I skimmed alot of parts. She just had a traumatic episode and when she first meets the H she feels something. Somethings felt like the author threw it in for the story line. Very hesitant to buy the next book.

I find it very hard to connect with a Leading Lady who is actively trying to be a snarky bitch 24-7. I understand it’s her go to defense mechanism but after a while you want her to drop the bull and show her true self. I have no idea why Torch would want to pursue someone like her. So I had to walk away. I am interested in Teller Book 4. He’s the tall dark, damaged Biker. So I may skip on over to him.
