3 - "Stop running..." Stars.
I have been a huge fan of this series from the beginning, The Monroe siblings just pulled me in from the get-go, mainly because of the less-than-friendly dynamic the existed between them in the beginning that has gradually changed into a more amenable connection over the course of the three books because of the way things have transpired, particularly with the building and running of Bella Vous.
This is a story that I have been itching too read since pretty much the introduction of Liam Monroe and Macy Hayward, one closed off from everyone and everything due to the terrible car accident he was in that caused permanent scarring to his face as a teenager. While the other is open and bubbly and honest about her attraction for him, thing is Macy isn’t all sunshine and rainbows when you look past the façade she projects, this is a woman with a few scars of her own. Scars that Liam is one of the few people to know about.
She might wear her scars on the outside, but she had plenty on the inside…
I really wish I could have given this story a higher rating, but the truth is that the author did so well in teasing us with this couple through the previous two books that the first half of Lost in You just felt like a long and drawn out repeat of Liam wanting her, denying himself, caving in, insisting he was moving away and then going back to the beginning of the cycle again. I wanted more for the pair of them, and it got to the point that Macy actually started coming across a little desperate in her attempts to get him to admit his attraction and feelings for her.

"Do I? Because moments ago you had your hands all over me and everything felt like a great idea."
The second half is better and things do pick up, and I love that the whole Monroe clan plays such a big part in this book, but it took so long to get to the good stuff, I had lost a little of my excitement by that point. One thing I do know for certain is that Jules Bennett is an author I look forward to reading again in the future. Although this series didn’t quite end with the bang I was hoping for, the book was still well written, and I will remember the Monroe boys with great affection.

Lost in You by Jules Bennett is a well written, heartfelt and emotional read.
The storyline held my attention all throughout the book. Liam and Macy were likable, passionate, relatable characters that I found easy to connect with.
Watching the relationship between Liam and Macy unfold had me swooning and smiling one minute and wanting to throw my kindle with my frustration the next. Liam's one step forward, two steps back started to annoy me after a while. While I understood his fear that he wasn't good enough for Macy it upset me that he couldn't see how much it was hurting her when he would withdraw from her.
I admired Macy, after everything she'd gone through she still was able to open her heart, forgive and love unconditionally. She wasn't scared to open herself up again to love.
She was a much stronger woman than me, I'm not sure I could have been as understanding as she was lol
But having said that, I did think they belonged together and had no doubt their future would be a happy one for them.
The epilogue was a beautiful and heartwarming way to say goodbye to the Monroe family, it warmed my heart watching them all together happy, content and looking forward to what the future would bring.
Lost in You, brings a close to The Monroes series, while each book can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend you read them all. Each book has been a joy to read.

I really wanted to love this book but unfortunately it was only an ok read for me. I have loved the first two books in this series and I have been looking forward to getting Liam's story. Liam is the reserved brother of the 3, self conscious of the scars he bares from an auto accident that tore the family apart. While the family relationships have slowly gotten repaired, Liam doesn't plan on staying in Haven. His dream is to own his own restaurant and that won't happen there. Starting anything with Macy Hayward would just end with someone getting hurt. Yet the attraction that flares between them makes walking away so hard!
The book is well written and the characters are interesting but the back and forth that Liam does about wanting Macy is frustrating to read. I wanted a bit more to the story than there was. Still overall it's not a bad read, just too drawn out for my taste.

There are times Liam doesn't hesitate to give his woman what she wants, "Macy reached for the hem of his T-shirt. “I’m done looking at this, and I want to know what you have underneath.” No reason to make the lady wait. He reached behind his neck and jerked his T-shirt off, tossing it across the room." I enjoyed this book, Liam could be really moody. Macy, I just loved that girl she had a big heart.

Four children turned into siblings through adoption became the Monroe siblings. The sister in the group died before her time and in doing so brought her brothers together to realize one of her dreams. With the oldest and youngest brother having found their HEAs in the first two books of the series I was looking forward to reading Liam’s story and looked forward to finding out how he and Macy would get together. I also wanted to know more of his and her backstories.
The writing was well done but at times I felt there was a bit too much repeating of Liam’s angst. He had a dream (was it really his dream?) and it became more important than family or the woman he could so easily love. He had been hurt in the past and was guarding himself from further pain in ways that didn’t really resonate with me. He was a wishy-washy in his relationship with Macy and even with himself. I did like Macy and her strength of character. I am not sure why she was fixated on Liam because she probably could have had anyone in town as strong and beautiful as she was. Maybe it was two hurt souls drawn to one another for healing? Anyway, I did enjoy catching up with the family, finding out how everyone was doing and reading the ups and downs that finally achieved a HEA for Liam and Macy. I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future.

This is the third instalment in the Monroe series. For those who have not been introduced to this series previously, Bennett does a great job recapping the previous stories to bring the reader up to speed so you can enjoy this without reading the others. For those who have read the previous stories, such as myself, this book does a wonderful job of telling the story of Liam and wrapping up the story that is the Monroes.
I am going to skip talking about the plot. The synopsis captures it well and if you have been following the series you know what to expect. I have to admit that I think this may be my favorite story in the series. I think it is mainly because the entire cast of characters that makes up the Monroe family is present on this story.
Maybe this one is my favorite due to the way it ties all of the family bonds and stories together and wraps it up quite well. I was quite moved with the ending in this story.
My recommendation is to read the entire series. It will enhance the enjoyment of this story if only because you will have experienced the story of each brother. If you choose to read just this story, you should be fine however you will likely become curious about the others sp you might as well read it in order!

Sad to see the end of this trilogy. I love the story of Liam and Macy - two damaged souls finding happiness. What struck me most is finding your happiness and the discovery that it may not be what you thought or intended.
This may be the last in the trilogy, but the book does standalone. I recommend this feel good story to everyone.

Liam is the last of the three Monroe brothers (Zach and Braxton are books one and two) to get an HEA.
Liam grew up with a single mom until he was 12, when she died unexpectedly from a brain aneurysm, and he was thrown into foster care. He and his mom spent a lot of time together cooking and Liam carried that with him. Liam was in a car accident with Zach and Sophie that left facial scarring and caused even more hard feelings in an already strained relationship with Zach. He left town at 18 and became a well known chef in a very successful Savannah restaurant. He returned home to temporarily run the kitchen at Bella Vous, a women only resort and spa, his deceased sister’s dream turned reality by him and his brothers.
Between losing his mom so abruptly, his bad experiences in the foster home before he reached the Monroe’s and his facial scarring, Liam has many issues. He refuses to let anyone get too close, including his family. I knew this wasn’t going to be an easy fall for him going in. However, so much back and forth in his head for over half the book. It was stretched out for too long. Because of this, the book lost some of its luster for me.
Macy has been a long time friend of the family and in love with Liam since they were teenagers. When Liam comes home temporarily, she offers him the apartment over her hardware store. Macy has issues of her own. She was sexually assaulted in college and has kept her relationships with men very superficial. She hides everything well with her sunshiny attitude, bubbly personality and big heart.
This can be read as a standalone. Previous characters are in this story as well, but the author does a good job of filling in the back stories. The characters are well developed but I wanted less repetitive angst and more time spent building the relationships between him and Sophie and him and his family. I wanted to see more of his transformation.

I love Jules Bennett’s The Monroes series. I love seeing all the brothers and how different they are. The fact that they have come together to take care of their late sister’s dream makes them only more endearing. Chelsea, their late sister, dreamt of turning an old mansion into a women’s only resort and spa. Her brother have taken on that dream and made it a reality.
Liam Monroe can’t wait to find his own restaurant and leave haven. He only returned when his brothers couldn’t find a chef for the resort. Liam doesn’t resent stepping in and helping out, but it isn’t’ his dream. All he can think about is getting back to Savannah and opening his own place like he has dreamed of for years. Well, that and Macy Hayward, his current landlord. Liam doesn’t know what to do with these feelings.
Macy Hayward has had a crush on Liam Monroe for years. She left for college only to return when her mother died to help her father with the family hardware store. Now Macy runs the store with occasional help from her father. Having Liam back is definitely messing with her concentration and focus. She sees how Liam locks down his emotions, but isn’t sure she can get him to open up.
I was surprised by the amount and types of baggage both of these characters have. I knew about Liam’s car accident from previous books in the series, but we really get to know not only the physical, but also the emotional scars that Liam has through this book. Losing his mother at a young age, being put into foster care and then being in the car accident have all shaped the man he is today.
These scars and issues are not as difficult as the ones that Macy deals with. We know from early on in the book that she had a traumatic experience in college that resulted in her leaving. The details of the experience are not given until much later in the book, but hints are dropped throughout that it was a sexual assault by more than one individual. I only mention this because it took me by surprise and I wouldn’t want someone who has had this happen or may be offended by it to be taken unaware as well. I do think that Ms. Bennett handles the situation appropriately and with understanding and compassion.
I believe this book ends the series since there are no other brothers that need to find wives. It makes me sad because they are great characters that I have enjoyed getting to know. This book could be read on its own, but it is enhanced if you have read the other books so that you understand the connections between the characters and what struggles they have had.

Liam has temporarily returned to Heaven to fill in as a chef at the resort his brothers have built in honor of their late sister's dream. But he wants to return to Savannah and purchase a prestigious restaurant to call his own. He does not have fond memories of Haven and wants to fulfill a dream he's harbored since he was a young child, a dream he thinks he can fulfill in Savannah. To him, his time back in Haven is just temporary.
Macy, who grew up with a teenage crush on Liam, has emotional scars of her own from past incidents. She has strong roots in Haven, running the hardware store that has been in her family for generations, and her father living nearby supporting the efforts she's pursuing.

Such an emotionally charged read. You have two people who are both emotionally damaged and afraid to trust. However Macy is more willing to try and get through her hurt her trust issues than Liam. Yes they are both running from their pasts. From those demons that have them in their clutches. But where Macy is more opened more outgoing, Liam is completely closed off. Although I can understand why he is more closed off. His emotional turbulence started a lot earlier on in his life than Mcay's did.. Liam suffered since he was 12, Macy,s began at 18.
These two need each other in more ways than either can imagine though. And Macy has an advantage, she's loved Liam since forever. And her feelings have only grown for him. And you can tell he has held feelings for Macy for longer than he wants to admit. But because of his damaged and tortured soul he doesn't want to trust it.
I loved how these two healed each other. The chemistry that neither could deny for one another. And Liam also bridged the gap with his family too. Which warmed my heart. It was not an easy journey for these two but it was worth it.

Lost In You by new to me author Jules Bennett, is a terrific and well-conceived novel. It is a compelling read, replete with an entertaining plot, nicely-defined characters, and a complicated romance. This story takes place in the small town of Haven, Georgia, and the down to earth Monroe family truly exudes goodness and the importance of being together. Liam is back in Haven to help his brothers bring their late sister's dream of running a first-class women's spa to fruition. Liam is not only a partner, he also cooks the delicious food that all the guests devour. Because he wants to return to Atlanta and run his own restaurant in the near future, he temporarily resides in Macy's former apartment, which is located on the second floor of her hardware store. Liam lost his mom at the tender age of ten, and spent some horrendous time in the foster care system until the Monroes adopted him. Macy's presence in his life stirs up feelings he promised himself he would never experience again.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved the way Ms. Bennett evolved Macy and Liam's relationship; with tenderness, desire and a bit of discovery. This story flowed effortlessly from start to finish, and I did not want it to end. If you are looking for a contemporary romance with the perfect balance of sweetness and heat, an engaging plot, and a happily ever after, then read this book. This is a well-written novel about courage and love, that twists and turns in all the right places.

Lost In You by new to me author Jules Bennett, is a terrific and well-conceived novel. It is a compelling read, replete with an entertaining plot, nicely-defined characters, and a complicated romance. This series has brought out the gamut of emotions, from elation to heartbreak. Here you have characters who have scars, both emotional and physical...as well as disabilities. All have shaped them into the type of characters who steal your heart...cheering for their triumphs and mourning their losses.

3.5 stars bumped to 4. Well, I guess this is the last of The Monroes series. It’s kind of a sad day. Lost in You is the oldest brother’s book. Liam’s background before landing with the Monroes isn’t the same as his brother’s, but he has his baggage. Liam actually had an almost idyllic childhood until his mother suddenly died leaving him in foster care. That’s when his problems really started. Because of that early security, his story is a bit different but it also has left him the man that he is today. Unfortunately, that man has been buried beneath layers of pain. Macy is trying to keep her pain buried just as deep as Liam is. Can they manage to bring out the best in each other?
I’m not sure that I can honestly say that I have a favorite in this series. Each brother is unique with their own endearing qualities hidden beneath a hardened exterior. Solid contemporary romance with ordinary wounded people who find each other and happiness. My favourite kind of story, but slightly undercut by their past friendship and the importance of physical attraction in bringing them together. It's not a friends to lovers story or a second chance, but rather old crushes realized, with a lot of back and forth. There is a lot going on in both of their lives, and some unexpected twists that bordered on frustrating. For example, Macy is asked t0 coach baseball, returning to an early love she had been forced to leave, and which would indicate she's worked through some trauma. But she turns down the offer. Liam's final difficult decision seems both anti-climatic and curiously complicated.
Although this is the third in a series, and obviously so, this can be read as a stand-alone - no information is missing - and the series arc and other characters are intriguing enough to make me want to read the others.

Jules Bennett has created a wonderful trilogy about three adopted brothers who are honoring the legacy of their deceased adopted sister. This is the third in the trilogy and was well worth the wait. Liam knew love as a child but through life's twists and turns he has taken one too many hits and has now closed himself off to love and relationships. All he wants to do is finish his obligation to his brothers in setting up his deceased sister's legacy. Macy has had a crush on Liam since they were kids but doesn't know how to heal him and herself. Macy refuses to let anyone have control over her because of past traumatic event but finds that she will let Liam have some control. They agree to a friendship but passions spark and both must decide to stop running from the past in order to have a future. A great story, full of emotions that keep you hooked into the story.

Liam has moved back to Haven to help his brothers run Bella Vous, a women-only resort and spa. He’s renting the apartment over Macy’s hardware store. She’s always had a crush on him and he secretly cares about her (He just doesn't realize it yet). This is a book about love and choices. Liam has had a hard life and just wants to return back to Savannah. He wants to own and run Magnolias, the restaurant where he was Head Chef. But he also wants to stay with his family. Liam has a lot of choices to make before he can have a happy life. This was a great book becuase it was so close to real life in the decisions that he has to make. This is Book 3 in the series and can be read as a stand alone book. Now I’m off to get the first two books. I received a copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

This is my first book to read by Jules Bennett. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series since I started at the end. Jules does a great job of reviewing previous stories so I was able to enjoy this book without reading the others.
Liam and Macy have a wonderful chemistry throughout this book. They both have a similar past which connects them in a very deep way. Jules does a great job of describing this connection while also adding a little drama. This drama will pull at your heart strings and then again make you angry. I would recommend this sweet book to anyone.

I have been wanting to read this book for so long, but perhaps that expectation for the better of me. I enjoyed the book and thought it was well written and concluded the series nicely, however, I found it too negative. Both of the main characters have major emotional issues and it’s a lot to take in and be book. I also found he didn’t explain his much before she fell for him, which seemed slightly unrealistic to me. Once again, I loved the family dynamic and the storyline surrounding that was great!

Standard romance. The only things that made it different were the fears the couple had, the reasons that kept them apart, and the fact that they kept splitting up and coming back together. I just wish romance writers would not rely solely on physical/sexual attraction to get the couple together.
Just a minor note: the person who wrote the jacket description incorrectly named the city where the restaurant Liam worked as Atlanta - it was Savannah.
Also, the dialogue between the women was pretty funny.

Lost In You by Jules Bennett is the third book in the Monroes. Here we follow Liam and Macy in another heartfelt read as they battle emotional scars from the past to reveal secrets they are hiding, and struggle to find love again.
I am in so love with the Monroes and each book just seems to draw you in with a WOW experience. You can feel their affection as they find their happy and learn to trust and love again. I truly loved the series and recommend this book for a enjoyable adventure.

This was my first book in this series. It was fine as a stand alone book. Neither of them wants a relationship or do be dependent on anyone. Yet, the chemistry between them is too strong to ignore. As the realization hits each of them, that this is much more than a fling, the both heal and let go of the past. I liked how they helped each other heal from past hurts, when they were unable to heal on their own. Great read.

Oh Macy & Liam... I wondered when on earth you two would trust each other, as you slowly fell in love. This story includes fascinating characters, including relatives from the earlier books in this series, a few crises, and secrets which needed to be exposed and shared. A very satisfying read... Received from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. I did like this story but found the pace a little slow at times. The author does a good job with character development and I did like / care about them but she sometimes hashed out the same thing over and over which I felt wasn't needed. Overall the story was good and worth the read.

The book was beautiful I read this one and went back and read the other books. Sorry you killed off the sister of the family but she brought the brothers together to work at her goals. Sorry to finish all the books in the series. I was hopeful you gave the sight back to the blind girl. But I love them all. Can't wait for your next series. Highly recommend to other readers.

Didn't like this one as much as the other two books. Liam hung on to his mis-guided notions of never having a family and never staying in his home town for almost the whole story, thus inflicting pain on himself and everyone around him. It made the book kind of exhausting to read. By the time he finally came around the story was pretty much over.

Lost in You is a well written romance. I enjoyed the plot and the characters. I had not read the previous books in the series and did not have a problem. I will be reading them now. I received this book from the publisher via Netgalley. Opinions expressed are my own.

I have fallen in love with the Monroe Brothers!! They are all completely different men who have overcome so much. They love of their sister Chelsea who has passed brings them all together to discover how much they need each other and they ladies they fall in love with.

The last in the Monroe brothers series. Love the story about Macy and Liam. I also like the fact that the previous characters show up. I think that just made the story even better. I hope the series continues

Liam and Macy fight their demons and their attraction to each other . As all 3 brothers come together to complete their sisters wish of this amazing spa sparks fly hearts break and wishes come true. I loved this series .
