Brotherhood is what Bull bleeds and all that he knows. Being the king of The Devil's Dust and surrounded by easy women was his everyday... until having his heart broke rooted him to the bottom of a whiskey bottle. Heartbroken, and drowning in lost memories he's unsure of the direction of his life, when the answer - consisting of a terrified Mexican girl- nearly knocks him off his feet. Determined to get his act together and rectify his club, he rides to Texas for answers, only to be confronted with the emotional ghosts he isn't ready to deal with. He sees Anahi, and he wants her. But she may come with more baggage than Bull is ready for. Anahi used to be prim and proper. She used to wear dresses and keep up appearances to impress people she didn't know. I guess you could say she was a fucking lady. But that was when she lived in Mexico with her parents. Before her uncle turned on her. Before, the only man she ever loved, her step-brother, betrayed her. Before she was forced to be a drug mule for the Cartel. Evening gowns a lost memory, expensive heels traded for boots, and a nine millimeter in her hand instead of a limited edition purse. Anahi sets aside everything she's ever known including the fairytale stories her mother told her about America. She's angry, determined, and looking for a way out.

~4.5 Devil's Dust Stars~
"What is it you want most?
description

What Might Kill Us is the fifth book in The Devil's Dust Series. This is my first M.N. Forgy read and it will certainly NOT be my last! After spending some quality time with the brothers of the Devil's Dust the verdict is clear. I need to bless my Kindle NOW with more of their goodness! With a complex blend of grit, heart, and action, What Might Kill Us is quite a powerhouse.

description
"Alvaro won't let me go without a fight. One that will have this town painted in red and smelling of metallic and gunpowder."
Anahi is the daughter of a Mexican Drug Lord. She has spent her life privileged and protected from the darkness of her father's world, but one night everything changes. She is locked up, held captive, and plunged straight into the darkness. Her dreams of freedom and living in America are swept away as she faces the brutality of her stepbrother and the evil cartel army. Now forced to work as a drug dealer for the same cartel she loathes, she fears she will never escape. Until she flees and runs directly into the arms of a dangerous biker.

description
"My heart's sutures from the last time I opened up and loved someone can be felt being torn apart for this woman. Let's hope she doesn't run her hands through the love I bleed for her and finger paint my pain on the wall."
Bull is the president of the Devil's Dust. Although he is loyal to his brothers and content with the women in his bed he is riddled with pain and guilt over the losses in his life. The only comfort he has found is at the bottom of a bottle of Jack! When Anahi runs into his arms and is quickly swept away in a van. He finds himself motivated to seek her out and save her. Anahi is so much more than Bull could ever have imagined. She is brassy and tough and makes Bull work for her affections. With the constant threat of the drug cartel looming, the drama of the MC club, the non-stop action, and smoking hot attraction between Bull and Anahi, What Might Kill Us is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat the entire read!

description
"In a place of abandonment and chaos I have a sense of my reality, but wiht Bull here it seems he's breaking barriers and making me feel tings I never knew could exist. It terrifies me."
Told in dual POV, What Might Kill Us is gritty, raw, tender, and beautiful. Both main characters are complex and experience a complete transformation. Bull battles his grief and addiction and Anahi finds the inner strength to overcome the demons of her past. Bull is quite a unique hero and with Anahi, they become a force to be reckoned with. The dialogue flows naturally throughout the read and it is full of humor and sultry steam. The secondary characters enhanced the story greatly and only made me want to run to Amazon so that I could download the series and read it from the beginning. The plot is well constructed with attention given to every detail. Every second of the action is felt throughout each and every gruesome and beautiful moment.

description
Overall, I highly recommend What Might Kill Us to all MC Romance Fans. With action, suspense, fascinating characters, and smoking hot steam, this is one ride you don't want to miss! M. N. Man oh man oh man!! So I like some gore in my romantic suspense and this book delivered it. It was so good!! Not incredibly detailed with it, but the author gave just enough information that you get the picture. Loved it!!

This story was about Bull, who started off as sullen, heartbroken, depressed, and at the bottom of many a bottle. It's also about Anahi, a young woman thrust into the underbelly of the Mexican Cartel, who was desperate to escape. It's about them finding each other, healing and standing together, and defeating the odds against them. They breathe new life into each other and through lots of blood, sweat and tears, they make it through to other side stronger than ever and able to bask in their newfound love.

Note: There is some drama from each of their spiteful exes, but nothing... and I mean nothing... was going to stop Bull and Anahi from being together. Nothing and no one!!

Overall Opinion: This was an ok read. I thought that it had the potential to becoming a better story if it got a little deeper into the characters and their connection. Don't get me wrong -- the sexy times were hot! I just didn't understand much of their connection past the sex. I appreciated the h's struggles with her family life and the H's struggles with alcoholism, but I felt like we just skimmed the surface of it all. It was enjoyable, but I guess what I'm trying to say is it could've been better.

Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Anahi and Bull's story. Bull is hurting over the loss of his secret woman, and has become an alcoholic. One day, he literally runs into Anahi outside a bar and she leaves a lasting impression. She is forcefully taken away by some men that look familiar to Bull, and he tries to find her as well as solve some old club business related to those men. Anahi is being held captive by her cartel family and is forced into being a drug mule and dealer, and she is unsure if she can trust Bull but she doesn't have many options. They help each other out, have some sexy times, and fall in love...and do get a HFN ending.

POV: This alternated between Anahi and Bull's POV.

Overall Pace of Story: Good. I read it really quickly, which tells me that it kept my attention well. It flowed well, and I never skimmed.

Instalove: Yes. This is one of my biggest complaints. They developed feelings really quickly, and I didn't quite understand the progression. I would've liked experiencing a little more of the development of feelings. I understood the lust, but not the jump onto love.

H rating: 4 stars. Bull. He was a good combination of tough and sweet. I liked his protectiveness of Anahi.

h rating: 4 stars. Anahi. I liked her spirit, and her will to live even when her circumstances were horrible. I really liked how she took care of Bull.

Sadness level: Low. No tissues needed.

Push/Pull: Not really

Heat level: Moderate. They have some hot chemistry, but it is not so much that it takes away from the storyline.

Descriptive sex: Yes

Safe sex: No. Condoms are not used, and I don't remember any mention of STD statuses or previous practices.

OW/OM drama: Yes

Sex scene with OW or OM: No

Cheating: No

Separation: No

Possible Triggers: Yes

Closure: This had ok closure, but I wanted more! I would call this a HFN ending, but others might call it a HEA (I'm just really picky in what I call HEA).

How I got it: It was part of my scribed subscription.

Safety: I'd call this one Safe with exception

Sooo... after Babs died, I was not convinced that Bull would ever find a better woman than her or inherit a book of his own while trying to redeem him after this horrendous blow. Consider me mind blown and

Now, we all know that Bull was no saint and never claimed to be. But after Babs' death, we see him spiral out of control on the verge to his own destruction. Until, that is, Anahi shows up.

It was pretty interesting to see these two lost souls come together and give and take. Bull, we already know that he is this bad ass motherfu*#er but Anahi is a completely new character to the Devil's Dust Series. Anahi, just really is a pawn of manipulation. She had no say in her life, and was rather forced into it, and just wants an out.
Bull, on the other hand, just wants to escape his self-loathing and misery and this one girl may be the one to help him.

I have always loved MN Forgy's writing from the very beginning. It was fun, it was interesting, and man was it steamy and hell on wheels!

Bull was cool, but Anahi... I love that gal! And what a cool name!! This novel does not disappoint!

UPDATE 10/17: I really enjoyed my reread. My problem with the story is still the same I think it was to short. Although it was insta everything, it didn't bother me this time.

So let me start by saying that I was very excited to see that Bull got a story. I have loved him since the beginning and my heart broke for him after Babs' death. I loved Anahi for him, although she was so very young I never felt like she was. She had been through so much in her young life but although her innocence showed at times she was fierce. So overall I really enjoyed the story but I did have a big issue and that was it was all to quick. It was so insta everything I didn't have a moment to catch my breath. I would love a novella with Bull and Anahi.

For those who are fans of the Devil's Duct MC series by M.N. Forgy, it feels like we've been waiting for this story forever! Well, I'm here to tell you, you will not be disappointed and that it was well worth the wait. Bull and Anahi's happily ever after is one that will leave you on the edge of your seat, begging for more. It was hard-fought, gritty, raw, and intense as hell. But I expect nothing less when it comes to Ms. Forgy and it fantastic MC Romance series.

"I'd do anything to be me again."

Brotherhood and the Devil's Dust MC is EVERYTHING to Bull. He bleeds for his brothers. He still bleeds for the woman he could never have. Deep down Bull knows he is falling apart, and the booze isn't taking away the pain like it used to. His club is noticing and it's getting harder and harder to hide that he has it together as the President of the Devil's Dust.

After setting eyes briefly on the woman who tried to escape in his arms, he sees something that brings him deeper into the past. Not only is this woman on his mind now, but revenge and vengeance is at the forefront.

Bull wants answers and it turns out the gorgeous, young, wisp of a woman is his only source. To bad she isn't as helpless as he thought. Not only is she the most beautiful woman he has ever laid eyes on, but she has a mouth on her that could rival one of his brothers. Anahi has been held captive for as long as she can remember, by her own flesh and blood. Darkness is in her DNA and she wants nothing than to break free of it all. Her many failed attempts have gotten her in hot water, but when Bull and his men ride into town, she can only pray that he will be her salvation.

He is her salvation. She is his redemption.

"You and I are each other's remedy for this fucked up world we were given. Without you by my side I'm not living, I'm just fucking being."

Intensity is at an all time high in Forgy's latest MC Romance. Heavy passion is scattered throughout the pages, making this down and dirty, raw and gritty, darker romance one you don't want to miss. Wether you are a fan of the series or not, there will be no turning away Bull once you start. If you are a fan of MC Romances, M.N. Forgy is one of the best out there. I can't wait to see what's next on her plate.

What Might Kill Us is the fifth book in the The Devil’s Dust MC romance series.
This is not my first M.N. Forgy book, but it is my first book from this series.
You can read it a standalone but I highly recommend to read the previous books since some of the plot relates to them.
So, If you want to have a full background picture, read it from the beginning.

I love MC romance, that is no secret. It is my favourite sub genre and whenever I never pass a chance to read it. If you love authors like Madeline Sheehan, Joanna Wylde or Bella Jewel, I bet you will love M.N. Forgy too.

Bull's story was a long time coming. I wasn wonder what kind of woman would heal his wounded soul. What I didn't expect was for that woman to be as equally broken.

Since the death of Bab's, Bull has taken to drowning himself in alcohol. Not much matters expect for him to numb his pain and guilt. For a main that prides himself on being the badass President of the Devil's Dust, he was a piss poor excuse. That is until he catches a young woman running from a group of men. From that brief meeting, the course of Bull's life changes. He's focused on two things: saving this girl and finally getting revenge on those that killed Babs.

Anahi, raised as a princess in her family, has found herself trapped within her so-called family. At the mercy of her sadistic uncle and the step-brother she once loved, she has resigned herself to the life she's forced to lead and can only hope the end comes sooner rather than later. Everything changes for her when the Devil's Dust come into town. For once in her life she has someone who sticks up for her.

The age gap between Bull and Anahi had me wondering who this relationship would work. But somehow, it did. Despite the difference, they never once saw each other as any other than someone the other was attracted to. When Bull gave up drinking, it was Anahi would took the steps to help him. And when the reality of who Anahi was to those Bull sought revenge, it was Bull who provided to Anahi that he would always come for her.

As with other Devil's Dust books, violence plays a big part. But the value of family was important in this story and that theme played throughout with Shadow, Dani, Bobby, Doc and even Lip. And I think the Devil's Dust can thank a young woman running for her life and desperate for a family of her own to show their leader what he needed.

I enjoyed and recommend. The book has all the elements we love in stories about MC. Family, drug cartel, loss of loved ones, the damn club whores, crazy exes, shootings, hot sex scenes. A vibrant history that holds the reader's attention.

I have really enjoyed this series and I hope they keep coming. The Devil's Dust family has been so fun to watch evolve. What Might Kill Us is Bull and Anahi's story and I know that along with myself, many people have been waiting for Bull's story.

Bull is the president of the Devil's Dust MC. After having someone close to him tragically taken away from his life, he's been on a bit of a downward spiral. Nothing matters to him anymore except the club. He's angry, he drinks all the time, and he's quite frankly one scary dude to be around given he is in a constant state of rage. Ultimately, he's hurting. His heart is hurting and he is convinced that he will never be able to heal. Nothing has caught his attention except for a bottle of booze. That is until this dark haired beauty who is in distress runs right smack into him. There's something about the girl that slipped from his fingers that he can't stop thinking about so he embarks on a trip to find her and save her. The question is, does she want to be saved?

Anahi grew up as a Mexican cartel princess. Although she knew the danger that was around her, she was mostly shielded from it. That is until she lost both of her parents and her Uncle steps in. What she thought would be a promising rescue after losing her parents, reality is that her Uncle is ruthless and has plans to keep the cartel running. Her only savior during this transition was her step-brother. But after time, not only did her Uncle throw her to the wolves in the cartel, her own step-bother and the man she thought she loved turned on her. Now forced to sell drugs in Texas, Anahi plots to escape. She almost did once. While trying to escape, she ran right smack into a gorgeous green eyed man who made her stomach flip. Now that she's back with the cartel, she can't stop thinking about him and when he shows up with his MC crew in her Texas town, she doesn't know what to think. Will he be able to save her or does he have plans to use her like everyone else does?

I want to start with how much I really liked Anahi. She can come off as this innocent girl but she's strong. She's got the fight for your life mentality so when push comes to shove, she's actually a little crazy. I'm with Bull, I adore her wild side. However, she struggles with it because of her family background so it is clear that her morals are still in tact and that she overall has a big heart. She comes into Bull's life at the best time possible. At first, they bicker and their back and forth is entertaining. She has no problem walking up to the big bad biker and giving him a piece of his mind. But in the end, she truly cares for him and soon she starts to show that. She helps him realize that there's more to life then what he's been living lately.

Poor Bull was broken in the beginning of this book. He has pretty much just been going through the motions and it was great to finally see someone bring some life back to him. He loves his club and and everyone there loves and respects him. All they want is for him to be happy so when Anahi comes around, they support him fully. Even if she comes with a whole lot of baggage. Especially when some of his past ties with hers.

What I enjoy about this series is that every time I read one of the books, I know I'm set up for the next one. Or at least there's always someone in there that I want more of. This time, I want to know more about Kane. He plays a pretty dominate roll in this book and there's some story going on with him that I'm dying to see how it plays out. I love the fact that I always want more of these boys.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. It has a little bit of everything. Heartbreak, crazy, drama, MC, Cartel, love and a whole lot of sass. It will certainly take you on a ride that you don't want to miss out on.

Everything an MC read should be and more

He's a disarray of handsome chaos and you can see it all in his emerald eyes.

The 5th book in the series and if you have been following you will know of Bull's love for Bab's and his heartbreak.

This book can be read as a standalone but after reading this loving it and the characters, I would advise also reading previous books too for the series of events.

Bull, president of the Devil's Dust is struggling to move on from Bab's death and drowning in his regrets and sorrows with booze until his world once again tilts when a young Mexican woman runs into his arms fleeing her captors until she is whisked away as quickly as she appeared.

Anahi is held captive by her uncle doing his work, she was a drug mule a task that nearly took her life and even though she's a daughter of the cartel since her father's death she has been decieved, used, abused and held against her will.

One look into Anahi's whiskey coloured eyes leaves Bull with only one thought and he's determined to find her, claim her as his but it means facing the Cartel to get her.

My interest was piqued throughout, Anahi is a fiery character a woman with backbone, I really liked her character and she is a perfect fit for Bull.

What might kill us had be hooked from start to finish, filled with alpha hotness, danger and grit.

Told in dual pov's and leads to a hea.

This is the 5th book in the Devil’s Dust series. It’s Bull’s story. And after Bab’s died, I didn’t think he would ever find another.

Bab’s was it for Bull. And after she died, he spiraled out of control. He was going to be the death of himself. Until he is hit by bullet, one name Anahi.

Anahi has her own story and it’s not pretty. Yes, she had lived a privileged life for a very long time. Then her parents died and her knight in shining armor became her nightmare.

“You can’t sell fairytales and happily ever afters to someone who knows the halls of a nightmare so well.”

Bull is fighting his own demons but has finally found a reason to fight for. He’s always been feared and he proves once again why he is the Prez of the Devil’s Dust. He will stop at nothing to protect what he deems as his.

Anahi may be a pawn in someone’s else’s game, but don’t ever count her out. She’s a very strong and determined woman. She knows to never show fear and sometimes her true self shines through.

“I hate what they’ve made me become. What they have released inside of me. Because now a darkness like no other dwells inside my being, veering it’s head whenever I’ve had enough.”

Forgy delivers another action packed, and suspenseful story of the Devil’s Dust MC. The pace of the story is perfect and we are even introduced to a few newbies that may or may not have their own stories in the future.

Another amazing book in the bag for Forgy!!

I was so happy to see Bull get his much deserved happy ending. The man has been through so much and has been let down by love in the past. It took him being near rock bottom to finally find his forever person. Anahi was the perfect fit into the Devil’s Dust crew. She was sweet but still a total badass!!

Anahi is a mexican drug mule brought to America to distribute her uncle's drugs. Betrayed bu her own family she doesn't know who to trust!! While trying to escape she runs into the Devil's Dust MC president. Bull is going through a hard time right now. After losing the love if his life Babs in a rival gang war he has been struggling with keeping his hands off the drink. When a beautiful brown eyed girl comes running at him full force blubbering out words in spanish. He sees the fear in her eyes and instantly feels a connection to her. Suddenly she gets pulled away by the same people who killed Babs!
Bull and his team go to texas to go after and kick some butt. When they get there they find the mysterious girl working at a bar. She seems okay but something doesn't feel quite right. Anahi feels a connection to Bull his huge body and beard attract her to him in a way she's never felt before. Things get heated in and out of the bedroom and shots are fired.

I loved Bulls story he was so sweet and a definite alpha! I loved it. I also loved seeing the other couples too. This is a definite must read.

The entire Devil's Dust series is life. I'm so happy Bull got his story and M.N.Forgy nailed it.

In What Might Kill Us, Bull is trying to mend his broken and failing miserably.
Until he meets Anahi, she stirs some type of feeling in him. I'm happy someone was able to stir something his stubborn butt. Ha! Bull is the President of The Devil's Dust MC and holy heck is he one of the hottest alpha's in the series. a total alpha.

Anahi is a tough girl, who's been dealt a crappy hand and is determined to turn things around, no matter the cost.

I don't want to give too much of the story away but I will say, Anahi and Bull were absolutely perfect together. They were exactly what the other needed, even if they didn't know it.

M.N.Forgy just has a way with words and her ability to pull you is insane.
If you love hot, dangerous bikers...one click this series.

So here's the thing, I've been hooked on this series since the very first book, and even though that first book ended on a cliffhanger, I absolutely fucking hate those, it left me curious enough to get the following book and follow through with the story. I've never regretted that decision.

I expected so much more from Bull's story than what I read. The storyline was pretty good, anything involving a cartel usually is. It's just that I find it creepy as hell that Bull ended up with Anahi, he's old enough to be her father! The man has a daughter older than his girlfriend and has a couple of grandkids and I'm sorry but I'm just not down with that. Please don't quote that 'Age is just a number' line neither because that's the stupidest saying I've ever heard..

Anyway, I've always liked Bull's character. It takes a lot to be President of an MC and despite his setback with the drinking, he always does a great job. He's a good father to Dani and an excellent grandfather to her kids. I guess it's understandable him falling for such a young girl, he hasn't exactly been lucky with love. First he had Dani's mum who was batshit crazy, then he was heed over heels for Babs, but she belonged to someone else and look how she ended up anyway. I think Anahi was a sure bet, she was young, charasmatic and had the same Darkness in her that his daughter has..yeah that's creepy too.

Anahi's character was amazing, albeit a bit naive as well. She was tough in spite of everything she's endured in her young life. Still even when she tires of it all, she still finds that small spark and pushes forward. I give her tons of credit for that. Of course the whole pregnancy thing had me wanting to slap her, I mean she's having nonstop unprotected sex with Bull, what the fuck did she think was going to happen? So her trying to figure out her last period and getting nervous made no fucking sense to me!

Overall the whole MC versus the cartel aspect of the book makes for a really entertaining and page turning read, everything else was just creepy as shit.

I have wanted a book for Bull ever since we meet him in the very first book, What Might Destroy Us, and with each book that followed, I wanted, actually I needed Bull’s story. Especially after what happens, which if you have read the series you know what I am referring to and if not well then please read the books because I won’t be the one to spoil it. What Might Kill Us is the perfect title, because I thought I might not survive because I was so on edge; I wasn’t sure what was going to happen and more than once I had feared the worst.

Bull broke my heart in the beginning up quickly returned to the name we knew when we first began this series. He is a biker through and through, the President of the Devil Dust MC, father to Dani, but most of all a badass alpha who doesn’t back down, and he is stubborn as a bull so his name fits. He not only surprised me but made me love him even more than I did in previous books.

Anahi is proof that you can’t control your DNA but you can try to fight back against it. She was the strength yet softness that Bull needed. I didn’t think she could beat out someone who held Bull’s happiness but it wasn’t a competition, what was, was a healing a moving forward with that one person who really does heal you.

What Might Kill Us may very well be my favorite of this series, I never thought I would cry over a biker book but this entire series has had my emotions all over the place and this one was no exception. M.N. Forgy you have written another amazing book and this book whore absolutely loved it and can’t recommend it enough that everyone must read this entire series!

QueenZany 5 STAR REVIEW
What Might Kill Us
M.N. Forgy

“What Might Kill Us” is an outrageously outstanding, seductive and suspenseful ride! The push, the pull, the roar and the power of the soul! One that you can’t ride away from!
The 5th book in this series is on a whole new mother fucken level! Fuck it’s enticing, seductive, suspenseful, raw, fascinating, and loving. Which only brings a mammoth of surreal emotions out to play.
You better believe that you will fall hard for Bull! His heart that is made of pure gold, a soul that is endearing, a body that is made for sin and mother fucken power!! A diabolical, swoony, dreamboat and loaded with a fucken gun!! He is the Mother Fucken MC President. Need I say more! I think he is my new book boyfriend.
Anahi is a hard ass, kick you in the balls and never look back type of girl. With a shit ton of skeletons in her closet. But when Bull and Anahi meet everything changes. The forces of nature shifts, time stands still and you're standing in the eye of the storm!

M.N. Forgy far exceeded my ever loving expectations! She simply killed it a hundred times over!!

When such a charismatic and strong character suffers an irreparable loss, it is hard to ignore ...

Bull, Devil's Dust Prez, lost his beloved woman.
In fact, going against the law of his own MC, he fell in love with the old lady of another member, and paid dearly for it.
Drowned in self-pity and alcohol, he sees beyond salvation until, literally, a woman falls into his arms for a few seconds and he sees his world turn ...

Anahi had the misfortune born in Gomez family and because of that, she belonged to his uncle Benito, him to do to her what he wanted. But she wanted to escape.
When a biker group appears at the bar where she works, the escape opportunity arises, but there wouldn't be without war.

Anahi knew how to protect herself, but she needed someone to help her escape and give her guardhouse.
Bull had the MC as his family and protect them always, but he was self-destructing.

One needed the other to survive and, from there, with the huge attraction they felt for each other, they would have a chance to see a new tomorrow...

I love books with MC stories.
I didn't know the Devil's Dust series, and though this book can be read as stand alone, my reading OCD made me miss having known the stories of the previous characters.

This book really brought this series closure and yet still had all the edginess of an outlaw MC. I have to say this series got better as it went along and my relationship to the characters developed as they grew and developed.

"The weight that is hanging over us tonight is the reaper standing by, waiting to drain the life out of the corpses that lay cold and still through the night.
I'm about to show them exactly why we are called The Devil's Dust."

Submerged in his grief and his regret Bull has turned to alcohol to numb his raw emotions. He can't go back and right the wrongs but the burn of his addiction is his penance. His MC is starting to worry about him as he drinks himself into oblivion every night, with his temper becoming more foul with each swallow. An unknown woman with whiskey coloured eyes runs into Bull and begins a chain of events that will either be Bulls salvation or his end...

Bull is struggling with his past, his mistakes and poor choices. Seizing an opportunity to have retribution for the losses the MC has suffered he goes to great lengths to battle his demons and get the job done once and for all. The Mexican Cartel that caused the club so much pain has crossed The Devil's Dusts path once more and unleashes the beast that wants their blood. Bull is downright terrifying as he will stop at nothing to end his enemies. As Prez of the Devil Dust MC he is determined, stalwart and unmovable once he has made up his mind. Anahi is part of the enemies ranks but will she he friend or foe? Sometimes darkness seeks darkness and together they make the perfect whole. Her story has not been an easy one either but something about Bull calls to her, they are drawn to each other despite the circumstances. Betrayed by her family, once a Princess now nothing but a commodity as a drugs mule for her Uncle she has no one to trust and no one to call family. She is a hellion, her instincts to survive honed by her very DNA she is the perfect match for the MC President. What Might Kill Us is a passionate story of two people trying to repair the scars of their pasts, which at times can get a little bloody! No remorse, no regrets as time is precious and its time for them to live and love...The MC is behind their Prez100% as he struggles with his addiction and battles his ghosts. Supporting him through the bad times and the even worse times. The sense of loyalty, brotherhood and family is what makes this series a go to read for me. It's filled with angst, passion, drama and adrenalin fueled action. Not one to be missed but I would read the others in the series first just to appreciate the journey travelled so far by all the characters in the story.

A five star sometimes you have to push back hard to win their respect read.

Filthy, calculous, and raw; What Might Kill Us is full of dirty sex and gritty violence as M.N. Forgy exposes us to the unpredictable biker lifestyle she has created once again.

Bull, President of the Devil's Dust. The messy drunk, grief ridden, unfit to run his own club-Bull. That's the person he's been since the lost of a woman he was never able to call his own. FYI: The story of them can be read in The Broken Pieces Of Us, a short novella. Though it is not needed to indulge in this book, it is a great added bonus. Now, back to Bull. He's become a violatile alcoholic who nobody really wants to be around. Funny and caring, take no shit, make the law and deliver the consequences for the crime, Prez Bull. That's who he was before the addiction, and that's who he becomes after meeting the whiskey colored eyed Anahi.

Anahi. After losing her mom at a young age her life began to change, but it wasn't until the lost of her father that everything went to hell for her. Locked away for years under the care of her uncle and supervision of her stepbrother, her only choice is to do whatever it takes to finally become free. At this point we witness Anahi isn't the innocent girl we initially thought her to be. She's a force to be reckon with. With a dark side always on the brink and lingering inside of her, she is dangerous. It's in her blood to kill after all.

Together and in some ways, Anahi and Bull are angel meets devil. But as M.N. Forgy twists and turns this plot into an unforgettable storyline you won't forget, we realize Anahi and Bull are much more like The Devil and The Devil's Keeper.

What Might Kill Us holds no comparison to it's predecessors. This book is its own. So, if you're wondering if it's just as good as the rest of the series then I have to tell you it isn't. Because it's not. Its better, and it's just more. The characters are flawed, tethering a connection to the readers. It's an incredibly sexy, freeing, wild ride; one you have to take in order to truly experience it.

M.N. Forgy weaves a tale of redemption, one that is truly beautiful and deserving for not only one character but both.

Bull's story is a ride that you will never forget! Loved What Might Kill Us.

HOLY FREAKING HELL!!!!!!!!

What Might Kill us is book number 5 in the Devil’s Dust MC series. I highly recommend you read books 1-4 before reading What Might Kill Us. Yes, this can ‘Technically’ be read as a standalone, but a couple of situations are discussed in this novel and will spoil the second book. What Might Kill Us is told in the Point of Views from Bull and Anahi. Bull is the president of the Devil’s Dust motorcycle club. After a tragic situation occurs Bull goes straight to the bottle. He now lives his life from drink to drink and bottle to bottle. That is until Anahi runs into him on the street. Anahi’s life used to be easy. That is until her father died and her stepmom sold everything he owned and ditched her. Now she has a psychotic step brother and an uncle who is now the head of the Mexican Cartel controlling every move she makes. After running into Bull she knows he is the one that is going to save her from her stepbrothers controlling and possessive ways. And everything falls into place exactly how she imagined it would. That is until a secret she has been keeping from Bull, is revealed!

I loved Bull! He was kind and gentle when it came to Anahi but when somebody messed with what was his he was ruthless! I loved it!

Holy Hell was there some crazy shit that happened in this novel! Like....EXTREMELY CRAZY!

Bull and Anahi’s story is one you definitely don’t want to miss. My adrenaline is still pumping! This is crazy, I haven’t felt my adrenaline pick up this much while reading since….well…never. I don’t remember ever having an adrenaline rush like this while reading.

What Might Kill Us has everything in it that makes a novel great. There’s the smoldering sexy time scenes for all of us romance lovers. There is a crazy psychopath step brother that is overly infatuated with his step sister. There is an evil uncle who is also the leader of a Mexican Drug Cartel. There are secrets. The intensity level is through the roof it's also a plus that Bull is a sexy beast. Also did i mention, M.N. Forgy REALLY knows her way around writing kick ass action scenes.

If you love Motorcycle club romances that are on the dark side, you NEED to read this series!

This was so much better than I expected. Who knew Bull had a soft side? He totally took me by surprise in this book and I absolutely adored him.

Bull is the President of the Devil's Dust MC and has apparently gone downhill since the death of Babs. He's barely a functioning alcoholic and he's not really the leader of the MC he once was. He's walking down the street one night when a young Mexican lady runs right into him. He knows she's in trouble and running from someone, but before he can snap out of it, she's snatched away from him and taken.

That lady turns out to be Anahi (pretty name by the way), a sweet 21 year old who is running away from her stepbrother and her uncle. Her family is the Mexican cartel and she's become a drug mule for them. It's not what she wants to do, but until she can get away, she's stuck selling drugs for her family's business.

Bull just knows that she's destined to be his old lady, so he tracks her down and does what he has to do to get her back. Shortly thereafter, they begin a sexual relationship and things heat up pretty quickly. It's obvious that they're both falling for one another though and it's sweet to see them together and see this other side of Bull come out. He was a bit of a tough nut before this book, but now I see him in an entirely different light. It was a bit weird that he was with someone younger than his daughter, but it worked.

I liked Anahi. She didn't have a choice who her family was and she had to see and do things she shouldn't. But that didn't stop her from being tough when needed. She definitely earned my respect and fit right in with the Devil's Dust. That desert scene in the end was epic. And there was a bit of Negan (Walking Dead) action thrown in there that I found pretty funny.

What I loved most about this book was the last chapter and the epilogue. It was absolutely perfect and I felt as though it wrapped up the series with a nice bow and gave closure to a lot of open ended things with the MC.
