“What do the world's most successful entrepreneurs, athletes, and innovators have in common?”
That is the question that Klyn Elsbury asked when she found herself facing life-threatening complications from the genetic disease Cystic Fibrosis. From within the walls of her hospital room, she dreamed of what she could achieve if she could have a second chance at life . . . and launched a mission to discover how successful people actually achieved their dreams.
Her exhaustive research led to interviews with dozens of entrepreneurs, champion athletes, and innovative world-changers. In the process, Klyn discovered their common secrets of success. . . and as she began to apply these findings in her own life, she not only recovered her health but built her own business as a sought-after speaker and executive coach. And most of all, she discovered that the power to change your life can be found in only one within yourself.
In this story blending raw emotion with inspiring wisdom, unlock the keys of success through the eyes of luminaries such as retired NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason, Netflix-founder Sharon Lechter, and dozens of other successful entrepreneurs. As you apply these practical lessons in your own life, you too will discover what happens when you stop dreaming . . . and start doing.
"INSPIRING, MOTIVATING, LIFE-CHANGING. . . This is a book for people who are ready to take their lives to the next level." - J. V. Crum, III, MBA, founder Conscious Millionaire
Ok I'm not discrediting the difficult journey and medical issues that the author went through. I'm basing this on the summary and formatting of the book. Based on the summary I expected to hear insights and interviews with many successful people. Instead there are small blips about successful people, but the book is mostly about the medical issues the author encountered and how she dealt with it. The book also is filled with advice on what we should do to be successful. The advice is good, but the directive of the book is disjointed and waves between an inspiring biography, a self help book, and a view at successful professionals.
Another way I'd describe this is... a journal entry or a report after therapy. It likely helped the author process her emotions, her feelings, and helping her press on through success.
