Aidan: Prince of Sorenia

Rate this book
The first night he met me, he told me he could never marry me.

I slapped him in the face and promptly fell into his bed.

Eva

He was the crown prince of Sorenia—and he was betrothed to someone else. Serious, fine as hell, and utterly infuriating, Aidan was everything I never knew I wanted.

We spent five amazing days in Gibraltar together, and then it was all over. Or so I thought.

When I travel to his country for my best friend’s wedding, Aidan is there, and he has his eyes on me.

What was five days becomes a whole summer.

Could it be love? Something more than a fling? The king and queen—and the law—are pitted against us.

Unless I can produce an heir.

Aidan

Eva Wilson is no princess.

She’s wild. She’s fierce. She’s smart. And she keeps telling me that this is all a passing phase. A fling.

Hell no. I might be a prince born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but I’m not an idiot.

She’s in love with me. I’m in love with her.

And all those laws I took so seriously for so long—they’re starting to seem less important by the day.

I don’t care if my family kicks me out. I’ll give up my entire life, my future, to be with her.

And no one is going to stand in my way.

Good

The writing was very good but the storyline put me off. Eva knew from day one that Aidan was a prince and she was so steadfast in her decisions that affecting both of them.

Prince Aidan is a heartthrob in his own right!! I love the way he stood by his lady love and how love can conquer everything!!! The fact that Aidan took matters into his own hands to make sure that everything went the best way that it could for their situation. This was an awesome read!! And I wouldn't expect anything less from Ms. Imani King!!! Thank you for writing such an awesome love story!!!

This sequel was not as good as Kian and Abby's story. Well written, a few typos as per usual, but not major ones. I felt that Eva was more controlling then the impression I got from reading Kian's book; in there she seemed more carefree and Aidan seemed more stubborn and duty bound with a cutting edge to his tone then compared to this book.

Excellent Read! Enjoyed Aidan and Eva's story from start to finish and it goes to show that laws, rules, and anything can be changed in the name of love. Loved it and can't wait for Rylan's story.

I had read Kian's story the day before, this story was pretty much the same. Names changed Eva and Aidan enjoyable. Aidan's mother was a piece of work. All in all ok story.

I would have to give this book a 3 out of 5 star rating. At first it was smooth sailing in the book then as I went along through the book it made me feel that I would have given it more stars if it were not for these 3 little/ sort of big things. First of all I do not like the constant doubt that Eva the female main character has toward her relationship with Aidan the male main character. Second of all, I do not like Eva and Aidan constant bickering. Third of all the book has to much repetition throughout the entire thing. This is the first book by Imani King I have read and I am having mixed thoughts and feeling toward this book.

Aiden is next in line for the throne of Sorenia, and unlike his younger brother Kian, must marry of royal blood. The thing that makes it worse is that he has been involved with his American sister in law, Abby's best friend Eva. He hadn't seen her for the three months before his brother's wedding. He has fallen in love with Eva. His parents have arranged a marriage for him, and he sneaks off with Eva, who wants nothing to do with being a royal. Can they find a way to be happy together, or will Aiden abdicate his throne, or worse, marry the royal his parents chose?

The prince got his princess and then some. . .

Sometimes to get what you want you have to make sacrifices. Aidan learns this and then some. Eva was the one thing in this world that he refused to live without. Sometimes the sacrifice is not what you really thought it was and what you get in return is definitely much more.

Not your every day fairy-tale

I love fairy-tale romances as much as the next gal.... girl meets boy, boy is a prince, girl is a commoner, they fall in love and try to figure out their next move. Aidan has some of those themes, but took a turn into left field and left us in the secluded woods. I really enjoy when a story goes a bit off the hinges.

Prince and Princess

I had a difficult time coming back to read this book. There was a lot of repetition of the same argument that was the entire book! I enjoyed the story line but but too much repetition.

Not your childhood fairytale

This book was Cinderella meets Monster N Law.. I fell in love with the quirky American dipping her toes on the other side of the pond. Their love made me want to fight for my imaginary love. Who doesn’t want Prince Charming. Great read

Needed a little something

Not a bad story but it need more depth. Quick read that felt you stepped into a story already in progress. Aidan needed to be a bigger man in my opinion and compromise isn't always bad.

Another good read

I like how the story had a strong female lead and she knew how to admit when she was wrong. Great book, looking forward to Rylan’s story

Good

Don't really have any thing to add. Story was OK though Eva was a bit tiresome most times. Aidan probably would have made a good King!

Aidan is an amazing hero although I didn't like the ending. I don't think they should have given up their birthright as leaders.. The story could have ended better for Aidan

A good second book...

Okay...I owe Imani an apology. My review after I finished reading Kian's story had me fussing about the absence of Abby's family at her royal wedding. I thought that made the story very unrealistic. But Imani cleared up their absence in Aiden's book. However, the reader would have no way of knowing that based on how Kian's book ended. So, having that part in the first book would have been nice.

Nevertheless, I really enjoyed Aiden's story with Eva. Stubbornness and indecision was all of wha Eva displayed and I found Aiden's patience and consistent acquiescence commendable. I was extremely happy to see that in the end Eva recognized that she was being unreasonable and made the necessary adjustments. As in Kian's story, Aiden and Eva's love conquered all and they too found their happy ending.

Crown Prince

ARC Review....
I must say that Imani King is becoming one of my favorite authors. I was excited to read this book because I liked Eva and Aidan's back and forth banter. The writing was solid with only a few errors. Eva nd Aidan were a very likeable couple. I was enjoying the book up until the whole surprise pregnancy. I am so tired of this the of plot. I feel like the story could have been fine without it. The ending seemed rushed. One minute they are brainstorming a plan and the next the babies are born and they are going back to Sorenia. I would have linked some details in between. There was plenty of sheet scorching sex scenes. Definite recommend.

“The Prince finds his Princess”

Such a great romantic story. Aidan can’t get Eva off his mind, their fling has done a number on him and regardless of his betrothal he plans to spend as much time with her as she will allow. Eva is avoiding Aidan at all cost because she doesn’t want to fall in love with a man that will never be hers. As cocky as Aidan is finding love is a new, humbling experience. Eva is torn & a wreck emotionally but can’t resist this sexy prince. They have a battle on their hand though that only the strong can survive. The queen is arrogant, just mean & snobbish but this doesn’t deter this once obedient prince when it comes to love & happiness.

I was given this ebook as an ARC for my honest opinion. For those of you who have read Kian's story. Aidan's is another compelling drama depicting the dirt royals. I just received an ARC for Ryland. Imani you've been busy girl. I'm just trying to keep up. You are getting better with every story.

No

This wasn't a good of a story as I was expecting. Not one I would recommend. Lots of grammatical errors.

This book felt like it was a teenager book.
