Sixteen-year-old Komachi Takamura is the daughter of a lawyer and a public prosecutor, which makes her a die-hard enthusiast about the law. Komachi does everything by the book and tries her best to help others, whether they ask for it or not. Her high school was perfect until she was branded a future offender by the youngest son of Enma (Yama), Enra from Hell. Who is this Enra and how will Komachi prove herself innocent if she doesn't even know what she did wrong? Only time will tell in the amazing manga Jigoku no Enra.
Overall so far this has been a cute fun series, but I hated chapter 12. A teenage girl who isn’t monogamous is slut shamed and made to repent her ways by almost being gang raped. She is made out to be a ‘wicked woman’ because she led men astray, she’s a teenage girl who was taken advantage of by adult men. She’s held responsible for adult men’s choices in their lives. Also the language of clean and dirty in reference to sex was messed up too. Like someone who is a virgin is clean and someone who has sex is dirty. Also they make it seem like polyamorous relationships are impossible and unhealthy when lots of cultures have them and they are normal and fine. Also how this manga deals with sex in general is weird. In a previous chapter a character who was into bdsm was made out to be like some kind of pedophile rapist, when bdsm communities probably have the best ways of dealing with consent between adults and consent is very important in the bdsm community. It just seems like anything that is out of the norm sexually for Japan in this manga is demonized.
