The description of this book is what makes it great "Complete text & commentary in a single volume."
The author really opened up the Doctrine & Covenants to me with her explanations and quotes from church leaders. I also liked her "Who was..." sections on different members who were connected to the D&C. This is a book I would reference to again and again.
