Rate this book
Add a little Aloha to your Christmas this year!

Authors Jennifer Youngblood and Sandra Poole invite you to experience a Hawaiian holiday. In the form of their newest book in the Hawaii Billionaire Romance Series, where you’ll find a famous movie star, a secluded estate, a sweet romance, and a touch of tantalizing suspense.

When Everly Watson takes her young son Jordan to Hawaii, she’s not just celebrating Christmas but also searching for answers surrounding a tragedy from her past. She doesn’t expect to be faced with a tsunami threat her second day on the island. Nor does she count on meeting the famous Christian Ross, superstar of a hit action-movie series. Sparks fly as Everly and Christian have an instant attraction. But things spiral out of control when Everly realizes someone is following her and watching her every move.

Christian Ross is living a life of solitude, away from the painful reminders of his sordid Hollywood past. Christmas is an especially difficult time of the year for him. He never expects to fall for a down-to-earth, spunky brunette with a bewitching Southern accent. Nor does he count on forming an attachment to her young son.

Christian soon finds himself drawn into Everly’s complicated world of betrayal and deceit and feels the need to protect her from a perilous threat.

Can Christian and Everly’s newfound love withstand the growing obstacles? Or are they doomed to keep reliving the heartaches of the past?

You’ll also enjoy reading the other books in the Hawaii Billionaire Series. They are all standalone novels, but the characters interconnect.

Good book but was too much happens for this to be believable. Still enjoyable if you can suspend your disbelief and just enjoy a fast paced story.

Love on the Rebound: Hawaii Billionaire Romance Book 2 is by Jennifer Youngblood and Sandra Poole. This book takes place in Hawaii.
Everly Watson was having nightmares about Mitchell’s death again. He had drowned on a trip to dive leaving her to finish her pregnancy and then raise their son by herself. Why she was having this nightmare again was something she didn’t understand. She was back in Hawaii after having married his boss Roland Watson and subsequently divorcing him. It had been five years since Mitchell’s death and a friend of hers told her she had seen Mitchell in Hawaii. Then she received a phone call from Benny Kai, a private investigator wanting a picture of Mitchell. She hadn’t heard from him since. She decided to go to Oahu over the holidays and find Benny and see what he had to say. If nothing else, she got a vacation in Hawaii.
The first day in Oahu, Everly spent at the beach with her son, Jordan. While there a man with a little girl came from one of the houses and sat nearby. Everly thought he was very good looking; but her attention was on Jordan. As she was enjoying the sun, the man came over to borrow some sun screen for his niece. He was very nice and they talked a while. She thought she recognized him but couldn’t place him. When he finally raised his sunglasses, she recognized him as Christian Ross, the actor. She enjoyed talking to him until he got very angry when Jordan accidently got sand in Sadie’s eyes. Then, Christian became another angry person. Everly packed up her things and took Jordan home. She didn’t need another angry man in her life.
She decided to forget Christian and spend her time looking into Mitchell’s death. Finding Benny Kai was her first step. However, everything got put on the back burner when a tsunami warning went out on the island. Everyone was told to go to higher ground. Everly packed Jordan and a backpack in the car and headed out. However, traffic was almost not moving. Finally. she got off the road and started out on foot. A big man who she recognized as working for her ex-husband appeared in front of her, grabbed her arm, and told her she was coming with him. Frightened, Everly fought back. She was going nowhere with him. Suddenly, the fight was over and she was left in the hands of Christian Ross. He wanted to help her as a way of saying he was sorry for earlier. With the tsunami sirens going off, they headed up into the mountains.

Third Time Is the Charm

I really enjoyed this book. There was some mystery to it, some suspense, some action, and some pretty steamy kisses! This is a "clean" romance so no worries about that. It does help to read the previous book in this series as some characters from there are mentioned in this book, although it is a stand-alone story. It doesn't detract from the story but it does enhance it when, as a reader, you can place the characters in context within the story. I would recommend this book. I borrowed this book through Kindle Unlimited but I would definitely consider purchasing it because the storyline is quite superior. I rate it 5 stars.

Everly and Christian

Everly has decided to spend Christmas and New Year's in Hawaii with her son Jordan. Plus it will help her hopefully to find out what happened to her husband Mitchell. The first day there they are at the beach when a man with a little girl set up next to them. Sadie, the little girl asks her Uncle if she can play with the boy and he agrees as long as it's ok with his mom. One thing leads to another and Everly and Uncle Christian strike up a conversation and are getting along great until Sadie starts wailing and accusing Jordan of throwing sand in her eyes. Of course things don't go well after that. Later there's a horrible siren noise and they find out there's a tsunami on it's way, yikes! Everly and everyone else is trying to get to higher ground! While carrying Jordan, Briggs her ex-husband, Roland's, goon tries to strong arm her into his car. Only thankfully Christian sees what's happening and comes to help her! What happens next? Why does Roland keep making trouble for Everly? You have to read this great story by Jennifer Youngblood to find out!

I really enjoyed this clean romance/billionaire/suspense story. I don't usually care for billionaire stories, but this hero was so nice and loveable, I ended up really liking him. I like the setting in Hawaii as well. I haven't read many novels that take place there. It was a refreshing change. The story moves along at a good pace, and I liked the suspense/mystery aspect as well.

I loved the developing relationship between the h/h. It was obvious they really cared about each other and their relationship was growing closer, but even though she stayed with him in his mansion, there was no sex. Just two people falling in love.

Interesting

I read this book on the recommendation from one of my favorite authors. The story is interesting but I admit the book was one I read but did not feel a connection. I did not get pulled in and care about how it would end. I liked it but did not love it.

She’s a twice married single mom vacationing in Hawaii. She’s really looking for proof that her first husband is still alive not dead. He’s a movie star in seclusion due to the death of his friend. He borrows sunscreen and it starts

Finding love in paradise.

A wonderful escape from reality. This is a fairy tale come true but not without a few setbacks. I love stories about the beach or tropical islands and since I've been to Hawaii before it's always fun to revisit.

Easy relaxing read

This is a fast fun read. Brings up some of the pitfalls of being famous, but also some of the benefits of being able to pay for resources when necessary, and of course, a happy ending.

This is another example of an exceptionally gifted author spinning a tale that makes you feel like you’re a part of the story… witnessing the book as the storyteller unfolds it.

Enjoyable

Another great story in the series. This one brings together some of the characters from the first, brings in new ones and expands on the characters from both.

This is a romance-suspense book. I know they will have a happy ending but it doesn’t keep me from being invested with the characters. Loved it.

Suspense and romance

A trip to Hawaii during the holidays. What could be better? Maybe not having one of your ex's goons spying on you or an unexpected tsunami. This book has a great balance of suspense and romance.

Okay

It was a good love story. But if I had realized it was not a Christian book, I would not have chosen it. No love story is complete without God being the center of the relationship believe me, I have experience from which I speak. You can't truly love if you don't LOVE!!!!!!

Love on the Rebound (Hawaii Billionaire Romance 2) - PG
Novella sized. 83% into the book on Kindle there's an introduction to a new book.
Desperately needs editing. Cute and definite escapism as all "billionaire" books are!

Clean, fast paced romance which held my interest throughout. It was short, but that was well communicated so I can't deduct for that.
