This classic tale of The Gingerbread Man tells of a cookie that ran away and tricked the old lady, the dog and the cow but the clever fox tricked him in the end. This is a fun story to read on the day you bake gingerbread men for the children in your family. They love playing the fox. The book is an easy reader with a five work glossary to help the young reader increase their reading vocabulary.

It was short and the ending was sad, but the story was funny; cookies can't run!
