******SPOILERS ARE AHEAD READ AT YOUR OWN RISK** ****

WELCOME TO SUGARTOWN:
I loved this book although the first half is sweet and saucy the second is dark and almost hateful (with some of the characters not the book itself.) I'm really hoping that Holly and Jackson get a story. Ana you can tell the girl is inexperienced is well everything, "I could show you if you like? The river. I mean. Not show you something else. That didn't come out right. I meant -" And I loved being in Elijah's mind it was so entertaining, "she's untying her apron as she goes, causing the blue dress to pull against her a** and ruck up a little bit higher. Holy s***, I'm headed into boner territory." I mean I really LOVED being inside his head, "holy mother of wh**ing nuns she's hot. Eff! I haven't just crossed the border into boner territory, Mr. Happy's erected a tent from my jeans and is setting up camp there." Even though Ana is inexperienced Elijah has no qualms about teaching her a few things, "don't be sorry, darlin'," I whisper as I break away and trail kisses down her neck. "Just don't stop touching it." When Ana gets hurt you can tell his thoughts are well murderous, "I can barely breathe. I'm shaking with rage. I'm gonna kill someone. I'm gonna tear their effing head clean off their shoulders." Elijah is a naughty boy and well I loved him for it, "Jesus, babe, you're wound so tight." he murmurs against my neck and slides his hand inside my skirt. Eff me! And so wet, too. I'm gonna take care of this, baby girl, and then you and I are going to talk about this s*** between us. Cause I'm not going another day without possessing you completely."
ENJOY YOUR STAY:
Jackson, the boy really doesn't have smooth moves I mean yeah he can get your panties wet but everything that came out of his mouth was dirty and honestly I loved it, "Holly, you come and see me in the middle of the night to choke on anything but my co** with your fist, and Ana won't be the only one screaming." I mean the boy just has no damn boundaries, "am I missing something, darlin'? Did you fake the three orgasms you just had, 'cause you and I may fake our way through a lot of sh**, but I'm pretty sure you aren't that good at pretending?" The boy is just plain vulgar, "This doesn't have to be weird. How many times we ridden the pony now? You and I make sense, because we're not attached to one another. We can eff, and still keep all that romantic bullsh** separate." But his thoughts are the sh**, "eff me. Now I'm gonna be sharing a tent with a pi**ed-off pregnant woman. A pi**ed-off pregnant woman I wanna eff so badly my balls are turning blue just thinking about it. Effing awesome." And he always likes to point out the obvious especially when it comes to his johnson, "mornin'," Jackson whispers in my ear. He runs his hand over my hip, and down between my legs. "I have morning wood."
GREETINGS FROM SUGARTOWN:
Welp Ana has a little anger problem but I totally see where she is coming from, "you want a beer too? What about a foot rub, or a effing blow job while you watch the footy on the flat screen?" Ana clambers over the bed, shoves her arms through her robe and stands before me with her hands resting on her hips." I mean it seems like our boy is messing up a lot lately, "what's gotten into me? She just accused me of effing Scott, instead of being raped by him, and you apologised to her?" Elijah that boy takes things what Sammy says to heart, "ape, huh?" I smile. "Well, you heard your brother. My c*** is bigger than King Kong's." He loves it when his girl shows how much passion she has for him, "I can't hear a effing thing," I say, shifting my weight onto one elbow, rubbing my ear. "You kinda deafened me with your banshee screams there." I'm looking forward to the next bookie in this series.
NOW LEAVING SUGARTOWN:
Seeing Sam all grown up is really hot, and his occupation is even hotter. Sam and Pepper bring out some interesting sides in each other especially a horny, flirty Sam, "why don't you take that dainty little hand of yours resting on my thigh and slip it inside my jeans to find out?" Pepper I loved her she was a no nonsense kind of girl, "judging by the enormous hard-on in your pants, I'd say walking is the last thing on your mind right now, and in case it wasn't obvious, it's the last thing on mine. Besides, I'm not sure we can handle this. We are like brother and sister, after all." The banter between these two was fun, naughty and a tad bit perverted at times:
"Can I get rid of my morning wood first?" I say under my breath, not expecting her to hear me.
"Yeah, you should probably take care of that s***. It's distracting."
Some scenes were just hilarious especially the scene before the wedding, "I hold up my hands in a placating gesture. "It wasn't intentional. I promise. I don't just go around d*** slapping women." It wasn't all fun and games with these two while Pepper on the outside seems to have her s*** together, she really doesn't I would read this book with caution and an open mind, there is some heavy subject matter that is discussed in this book.

Torn

Honestly, this series was SO not for me. The constant “claiming” of the woman publicly and very vocally about their orgasms and the many ways they’ve had them was tiring and kind of gross. That being said, I finished all four books, so there was something that kept me reading. If you can handle a LOT of back and forth using sex as the basis of all conversation, ow/om drama and violence, you might like this book. Otherwise, I might suggest you look for something else to read

I got my hands on this beauty and could not put it down. From the start you were glued and there wasn't a thing to make me put it down until the very last word. Yes, this book was that amazing.

Anywho, Ana is this lovely lady who needs some change. Just get up and leave Sugartown, that's her big dream. Which takes a turn when this very hot guy shows up. Elijah and Ana right from the start you knew something was going to happen. But Elijah is here because of a deal and to work. He doesn't plan to stay here long or fall for anyone.

But of course nothing is smooth sailing around here. Ana and Elijah seem like the perfect duo and things aren't going too bad for them. They hit a few bumps, but you see Elijah won't quit and Ana needs to relax and not be so scared to have her heart broken again.

However, when Ana's life is in dangers, Elijah screws another while drunk, Ana just can't take it anymore. To top it all off, her ex does something horrid to her. That's when she runs to Elijah and then he does something. In a way it shows he loves her, in another way.....it was illegal.

It took time, it was a wild ride, but the ending was so worth it. Finally get the ending you'd be hoping for. I can't wait to dive into the rest of the books.

YOU NEED THIS BOXSET, ONE OF THE BEST VALUE FOR MONEY WHEN I GOT THIS AND 4 STORIES I WILL NEVER FORGET

WELCOME TO SUGARTOWN

Finally got to read one of my favourite authors earlier books, it has taken me a long time but i finally made it to Sugartown and I’m so glad i finally arrived.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when i started reading this book i just wasn’t sure what path it was going to take but i wasn’t expecting this story. What an amazing story it was. It shocked me, wowed me, i was emotional and just heartbroken for both of these characters in such different ways i just didn’t know what i was feeling half the time.
I must admit i was not expecting for what happened to Ana and i was just so saddened and the way the author wrote these darker scenes in this book i just felt like i was in the moment with them and i could feel the hurt for these characters. Elijah was such the alpha dirty talking hot guy but underneath it all you could tell he was a guy that would lay his life down for you. He made some mistakes but god when he loved something he was passionate.
This was such a back and forth story for these characters and the push and pulling and hurt these characters created themselves was so enticing and i just didn’t want to put it down.
Absolutely loved this book and i can’t wait to get more into this series. I bought the box set and can’t wait to read the rest.
A massive 5 sugartown stars for this baby

ENJOY YOUR STAY

Well we all knew that from the first book that Holly was a firecracker but nothing prepared me for her book she was just too funny.
I wasn’t sure if i was going to like this book, i wasn’t sure i liked Jackson or Cooper and it made for one interesting book. I have never felt chemistry between two characters like i did in this book it was just burning up the pages it was crazy but it had me turning the pages faster than i expected
Holly was funny and if i was in predicament like her i am not sure how i would act or what i would choose but for the family life of not having much love and just existing to her parents you can’t blame her for being the person she is and what kind of life she wants to give to her child.
In the end i liked Cooper and at times i felt for him but other times i was just so angry with him and i can’t wait to find out more about the rock god.
Jackson just made me angry i wanted to punch him, i wanted to love him and i wanted to castrate him but at the end of the day this is why i fell in love with him.
There was so much going on in this book and i loved how Ana and Elijah from the first book were so much in this story aswell as Bob and Sammy, i loved Sammy and the poor kid went through so much and again can’t wait to find out more about him.
Absolutely loved this book, i laughed, got angry, i cried tears of sadness and frustration but i wouldn’t want this book any other way, the story was perfect and i couldn’t put it down.
A massive 5 Stars and I’m loving this boxset. If you haven’t entered Sugartown you really need to.

GREETINGS FROM SUGARTOWN

I do enjoy when a novel comes out and it’s about previous couple in the series, it’s always nice to go back see what’s going on and what else happens in thier life.
Well in this novella/story we got a hell of a lot more than what i was bargaining for Jesus’s this book had it all hit sex, drama, and i feel another whole story it was so exciting.
Ana had already been through a lot in the previous novel but it just doesn’t stop for her and Elijah, she goes through the ups and downs of trust and she just tries to be her self and nice and sometimes it just back fires on her and i feel for her but it was good to see where she ended up.
Elijah i felt we really got to see him and got more into the emotional side of him, he made me laugh in some parts of this book but what really excited me in this novel was how protective he was of Ana and what he would do to keep her safe. He has also been through a lot but he just keeps bouncing back.
Again we got to see all the other characters and they all made me laugh it was a really great novella. Big 5 stars for this book loving Sugartown, can’t wait to get back and see what else is going on

NOW LEAVING SUGARTOWN

i loved this book and finished off the series perfectly, i think i would have to say that this was my favourite book but at the same time i loved them.

This book was emotional for me and so raw, mental health is such a taboo subject that i don’t think anyone likes yo talk about and to tell a story like this and the way Carmen Jenner writes it is amazing.

As we had, had Sammy through the other books we loved him as a young kid he was sweet and caring and had been through a lot in his young life, but i don’t think there was anything better than reading him as such a strong man. He was a beautiful character that would do anything for the person he loved even if it meant breaking both of there hearts. I loved Sammy so such and will never forgot his character.

Pepper came into this world dramatic and i think that set her life up to be excatly that. She was suffering in her head and she just couldn’t fight her demons she tried but they would win over and over again, her character was special and i think the author captured her mental illness to how imagined how it could be, just the fight and day struggle against the demons.

We got to read about previous characters and that’s always awesome to see how thier lives are moving forward and also heartbreak for other characters who’s life comes to end but i was glad we got to read it.

This was such a beautiful book of a second chance romance taking us between the last and the present, it was emotional where i cried, but i laughed and really felt the story. It got the feels up for me.

Massive 5 Stars for this story and this series was another amazing 5 Stars, its a must read.

WELCOME TO SUGARTOWN:
Elijah Cade (age 23) is new to the town and starts working in a garage.
Ana Belle (age 19) is a master baker and runs the diner her Mom started.

There were a lot of sweet moments but then also some serious drama that ensues. I really liked Elijah and his desire to live a new life. Ana began annoying me in the 2nd half as things do get intense but pushing Elijah away does make sense. And when he avenges her the 2nd time and sacrifices so much for her I don’t like that she still can’t be with him. I mean there’s angst and too much angst.
There were steamy scenes and I usually like an innocent and virgin h but the story didn’t go the way I hoped.

Little Sam (age 6) was super adorable. I will go into the next story of Holly and Jackson.

ENJOY YOUR STAY:
Jackson Rowe (age 25) is back in Sugartown where he was raised. His cousin is Ana and he moves in with her before getting his own place.
Holly Harris (age 19) is pregnant. She finds out after her boyfriend Cooper leaves to go to the City to follow his dream of being a famous musician. She had a history with Jack and once again sparks and attitude flies.

I really tried to like Holly but it was hard. I just felt bad for everyone around her. Jackson tried to be loving and she pushed him away, Cooper found out about the baby and left his dream career and that wasn’t enough.

GREETINGS FROM SUGARTOWN:
In the series sequence we now return to Elijah and Ana 3 years later.

One thing I enjoy as a reader is a couple being a couple in love. After everything Ana and Elijah went through I didn’t expect Ana’s character to still be in the same place: paranoid, insecure, run by her emotions.
Elijah is trying to move them forward and after all he sacrificed he’s still groveling. At least they finally got the HEA they deserve.

Loved the side characters as usual and some comedic scenes amongst the guys.

Narration by Rupert Hamilton and Jenny Walters. I loved their accents and voices are perfect for characters.

NOW LEAVING SUGARTOWN:
Sammy Belle (age 29) is the Sugartown golden boy.
Pepper Ryan (age 23) continues to make bad decisions and returns home after 5 years.

This is a tough book to read as when you love a person with a mental illness it’s not easy. I felt so bad as Sam tried so hard to help Pepper but she was her own worst enemy. The ending is pretty intense but handled the subject really well.

It was great seeing the original couples who really haven’t changed much. I do wonder why Holly and Jackson never had a 2nd kid together.

Narration by Rupert Hamilton and Jenny Walters was great. Loved their accents and voices are perfect for characters.

This collection of stories about Sugartown are awesome! Each one has it’s own angst and full of emotion. First there is Ana and Elijah in Welcome to Sugartown; then a Bonus; next is Enjoy your Stay with Holly and Jackson with a little bit of Cooper; another Bonus; Greetings from Sugartown with more of Elijah and Ana and a little excerpt with Kick and finally Now Leaving Sugartown with Pepper and Sammy. All leave you with taking a deep breath and a hard sigh. How can one FAMILY endure so much? Just when you think there is no more action or trouble, POW, you are hit with something else. But these incidences give the added color to make the story even better. You never know what to expect. Just a great series!

This box set was so worth the read. Sometimes I question the mentality of the women in these types of books because of what they allow the men to get away with, but, that said this set has it all. Holly and Jack are hilarious. Busted out laughing more than once and had to explain myself to my husband! Great read.

DNF - NO, NO, NO, NO, NO! Okay, I can see I'm in the minority for this one, but just NO! I don't need unicorns farting rainbows out of their butts for my books but I do need romance and HAPPINESS in them. There's enough dark in the world that I don't want to read about it in my only form of escape and relaxation.

I guess I should have read the author's bio first. She plainly states what type of books she writes, I just didn't pay attention. So this is completely on me but it totally SUCKS! Because as much as I have to say NO about this book, the author is very talented. She kept me engaged in the storyline and wanting to find out what happens, if only for a little glimmer of happiness. And that's what I got, a little glimmer.

Spectacular writing...not my kind of genre...on to the next.

I freaking loved this series!! It's not all hearts and flowers and there are some truly horrible moments but there's some laugh out loud ones too and the love between the couples is heartfelt and true. Carmen has done a wonderful job of making you feel like you're a part of the story and you get immersed into the characters lives and ride the waves of emotion with them.
