detective Justin young is talking with some of his police buddies about a Russian floater they found...they talked about mac kennedy is being pushed out by his nephew dominic who went to the Russian to make a deal.. Justin found out one guy was dead andanother missing...another guy was found murdered in his home 6 months before...they heard they were going after joey boyle..the police want to get to him first to make a deal to find out about the kennedy family..Johnson monaham is watching pervert larry Gordon who got out of jail after raping an 11 year old boy..lisa Johnson is friends with Johnson and talks to him as she rides her bike down the street she has been warned by her uncle Justin young not to talk to Gordon and stay away from him..joey makes a deal to talk as long as he goes to jail under another name..mac kennedy is found in a motel room with a severed head his body guard is found dead in a service elevator... lisa is missing and her bike is found in front of larry gordons house...Justin goes into gordons house and kidnaps him and takes to the cottage and down in the cellar...now he will talk...Justin brings an axe over to ask him where lisa was he said he didn't know so Justin chops off his leg at the knee...when he still says he doesn't know he chops off the other...he ties him up in the cellar and leaves......a lady see a young child walking with only a teeshirt and underwear...Johnson watches lisa will be home soon...he had been drugging her ...Justin realizes larry had been dead for several days before lisa appeared...now he has a hard time with larrys death as he pleaded for his life that he didn't know what happened to lisa but it was not him... his mind goes to Johnson in a wheel chair across the road from the gordons but he dimisses the idea........kept me interested read the book all in one night to see what was going to happen........

What a great story short story! Detective Justin Young is immersed in a possible mafia murder when his young niece disappears. There is evidence that she was near the home a known pedophile when she disappeared; but he has an alibi. So where is she? And who has her?
I did not see that ending coming…
I was provided a copy of this book for my honest review.
