Restless Spirits

The Yew Hallow books are very good though the walk through the afterlife was a bit much. The last story was bizarre. Didn't really like it.

Diet of Terror

Two enthralling tales by two different authors. The first book is about a young witch trying to make a name for herself as a Paranormal Investigator. The second is about a young couple who buy a very haunted house. The young woman (who is psychic) is trying to get justice for all those murdered because of one man's greed.
A delightful duet of terror. (Although Bechdel is much spookier.) They will leave you shaking in your boots.

Terrible ending

The story line was great characters also great but the ending is a let down. Why do authors go to all the trouble of telling a story then near the end it's as if they just say buck it I'm done. magdg

Good storyline.

I enjoy stories about normal people learning of the supernatural world. This story is suspenseful and comical. Loved the ending

Both were really good books.

The stories were completely different from each other but both were very good. The first story was about a young witch who was having trouble fitting into her coven until she was called upon to save it and the second story is about a "gifted" young woman who is drawn to an old mansion haunted by ghosts seeking help to avenge their unsolved multiple murders that had taken place there many years before.

The second book series is not "cozy", by any stretch of the imagination. I still would suggest this box set if you can get it free. There is a good bit of a cliffhanger with the second book series as well, or maybe just a lot of unanswered questions. Also, the second set had some grammar / editing issues.

Got me back into reading

I haven't found too many books lately that make me want to drop everything and read, however this book was it. I enjoyed all of the stories and was on the edge of my seat waiting for more! Excellent books despite minor errors.

I would give the Yew Hollow portion of this anthology 5 stars - I really enjoyed it. The other part was too bizarre for me - I didn't like it at all, and finally DNF'ed about 50% of the way through.

Boxset

Enjoyed the first story. I would recommend that the chapter titles be removed. They are distracting.
Didn't enjoy the second story.

Small town mystery

I liked the mystery, was a little choppy at times and not much character development. But I was able to lose myself in the story.

I loved this story. The struggles of a woman dealing with past lovers as well as solving their case was enthralling. The story line flowed great and I'm excited for the series.
