A very simple book. The author very humbly tells us his life story from an ordinary tailor to costume designer to an award winning actor. Really a GOOD, SIMPLE and
HUMBLE book. I loved it.

If you ask me anytime who is my favorite actor in Malayalam Cinema, my answer will always be Indrans, the author of this book. I have met him a few times in my life. He is an amazing actor with an extraordinary range and one of the best human beings I have seen.

When I met him for the first time a long time back, I was surprised to see such a humble human being. I closely observed him and his progress for many years. I think it is his love for books, his life experiences, and his upbringing that made him such a gem of a person.

This book is exactly like his personality. Down to earth, straightforward, touching our hearts with the simplest words you can imagine. He started as a tailor in the costume section of the movies. He was one of the best in the costume section at that time. Then he tried his luck in acting, and he became an extremely successful actor. The author brilliantly depicts anecdotes about his tailor life, acting career, and personal life. His love for books and written words is beautifully reflected in the words he wrote in this book.

Indrans is hands down one of the most humble souls in Malayalam cinema. Book was nice to read, tiny though, mostly about his struggle to reach where he is now yet not forgetting to express his gratitude for all the lives effected him. majorly about his love for tailoring and his life around it.

Good Book

ഇങ്ങനെ എത്രയെത്ര മനുഷ്യരെ അടുത്തുനിന്നും അകലെ നിന്നും കണ്ടു, അറിഞ്ഞു . ചിലർ ഒരു പിടിയും തരാതെ എവിടെ നിന്നോ വന്ന് എങ്ങോട്ടോ പോകും. ചിലർ നമുക്കൊപ്പം സഞ്ചരിക്കും. ചിലർ പാതിവഴിയിൽ യാത്ര മതിയാക്കും. സിനിമയിലൂടെ ഒരുപാട് കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളുണ്ടായി, വേഷപ്പകർച്ചകൾ നടത്താനും കഴിഞ്ഞു. എത്ര അറിയാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചാലും ചില മനുഷ്യരെ, കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അറിയാൻ കഴയില്ലെന്നതാണ് നേര്..... ജീവിതത്തിൻറെ നേര്.
