Everyone has a past, but it seems like when a person put their past behind them something happens. Lamont built the largest drug empire and became known as The King. King ran the streets of Memphis for years, and he finally decided to step down and live a decent life. King became a preacher, but some people did not know about his past. Will King be able to stay a preacher and not be pulled back in?

WHO WILL WHEN THE WAR ?

This is one of those books that's will grab a hold of you, and won't let you go. Seriously this book has so many twists and turns, that you will think it's a episode of Who's Who. The plot was extremely vivid, the characters were displayed, as if they where old friends. The plot revolves around King, a ruthless king pen who has Memphis on lock. King get out of the game, and becomes a and becomes a Pastor of a mega church. One day something after service that forces his hand, and just like that he is pulled back in. Yes i would recommend this book because it's a very entertaining read. YES YES YES ! a five star read.

I would read the next one

I enjoyed this book. The drama, action and deceit made me interested in reading anticipating what would happen next. I look forward to the next installment in this series. Having said that, the book would have done well as a stand-alone. Also, the editing was borderline poor.

Amazing read!! Was able to read in only one shift! Kept my attention from beginning to end. Shame that King had to step back into the life that he promised to leave in his part. All for the ones you love. But I've definitely found a new favorite author. About to read and review part 2

The plot was good but it was a real headache trying to get through all of the editing issues. I won't be reading book 2.
