Becca’s got two options.
Death row or outer space.
Is that really a choice?

Radon’s not on the market for a bride.
Seems what he’s on the market for doesn’t matter to the decision makers.
There are stranger ways to find love, admittedly, but Becca’s never heard of them.

this was a big disappointment. i read the blurb and it sounded interesting. but it did not live up to the hype.

plot: well it was an intriguing premise though it leaves more questions than answers. how do earth and this planet communicate so easily but it still takes 100 years to get there? why were humans there before? why did they go there for help when the race is dying? as i said it was an intriguing idea but this author obviously did not know how to follow through.

characters: Becca drove me insane! she was in prison for killing a man that held and tortured her. Se learned to keep her head down and stay out of the way. I get it you do what you have to to survive. however when her life was on the line before she killed to stay alive. well that's an anomaly apparently because she stands around waiting for a real bitch of an alien to kill her....multiple times. she needs saving more than any damsel in distress ever has. and she was in prison for killing a man! how is that possible? the character is just riddled with holes.
Radon was not much better. he goes from a slutty bachelor male to all of a sudden in love with a woman he hasn't actually spoken too....oh ya its that bad. he changes his mind about everything at the drop of the hat.

now onto other things that drove me nuts. the jumps in story line are confusing and make no sense. its like the author couldn't think of a full story so she stuffed scenes together and called it a book! also something between Becca and radon that never gets addressed. they hint at a deeper connection because of dreaming of one another but it never actually gets addressed. the author is good at ideas but terrible at execution. i would recommend she sell her ideas to other authors to write. this could have been great but it had so many mistakes and was riddled with things that made no sense and didn't fit with what was said 5 pages ago i couldn't actually enjoy it.

Interesting. I thought this was going to be a takeoff on Grace Goodwin's Interstellar Brides series (which are excellent!) but no not really. The beginning is similar because of the women in prison and being sent to another planet.... but then it kinda changes. My peeves.... It's very slow and the sex could be WAY juicier and the Typos are pretty bad. BUT..... Having said that there's room for improvement and I'll try book 2 and see if things pick up.

Loved it

I really enjoy reading books with the whole sci-fi love story going on. The story was easy to follow and will hook you from the get go. Can't wait for the next book. Please don't take long finishing it and releasing it.

Radon

Interesting concept. Although I really like stories & series about Aliens, I found this one a little hard to at into. Wasn't exactly my usual cup of tea. It's ok I guess.
