This Companion provides an authoritative survey of the whole range of Kant’s work, giving readers an idea of its immense scope, its extraordinary achievement, and its continuing ability to generate philosophical interest.
A very smooth read. The essays that stood out to me covered Kant's views on physics, and mathematical philosophy, and his manner of note taking. The first essay in the book, tries to some extent to wrestle with Kant's blatant racism, but other texts do that much better, namely Kant, Race, and Racism: Views from Somewhere by Huaping Lu-Adler and Kant and the Politics of Racism by Jimmy Yab.
Interesting and quite wide ranging selection of views on Kant's philosophy. Some sections on his Pre-Critical philosophy, and the sections by Falkenstein, Melnick and Wolfgang Carl brought to mind some ideas I had not considered before.
