Brenda Kennedy is an award winner, an Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and a Publishers Weekly bestselling author. She is a true believer of romance. Her stories are based on the relationships that define our lives - compassionate, emotionally gripping, and uplifting novels with true to life characters, that stay with her readers long after the last page is turned.
Her varied, not always pleasant background has given her the personal experience to take her readers on an emotional, sometimes heart wrenching, journey through her stories. Brenda has been a struggling single mom, a survivor of domestic abuse, waitress, corrections officer, hostage negotiator and a corrections nurse. She is also a wife, mom, and grandmother. Even though her life was not always rainbows and butterflies, she is a survivor and believes her struggles have made her the person she is today.
Brenda is the author of the award winning book, Forever Country (The Rose Farm Trilogy Book 1). She has been dubbed "The Queen of Cliffhangers" by her adoring readers because books one and two always have a cliffhanger ending. In Brenda's own words, "I write series that end in cliffhangers, because I love them. I always give away the first book in each series so you have nothing to lose by reading it."
She was born and raised in Zanesville, Ohio and moved to SW Florida in 2006 with her husband Rex. They have a combined family, and she often jokes about not remembering what child belongs to who.
This is the last book of The Forgotten Trilogy. After the devastating car crash that left her with amnesia and starting her life over in a new city with one of her best friends, Skylar, and finally claiming the love she is starting to remember with her other best friend Chase. Ava can say she is finally happy.
A dramatic life altering event that has left her with possible blindness after all she has already suffered and the death of a very wanted baby. Ava in the end gets her happy ever after with Chase and the family she didn't know that she really wanted till it was taken from her so brutally. Ava is the glue that has held the other family members together as you can see from everyone close to her in her life relocates to be close to her. Even distant in laws come home. There is nothing forgotten about Ava she is home and home to all.
A wholesome story with the suspense and drama of a mystery. Characters you can see in yourself and your friends and family. And a positive ending after all the negative events.

I just finished reading Brenda Kennedy’s new book, Seeking the Future. I couldn’t put it down. It had me laughing, crying, and the suspense even had me frightened at times. This book captures the raw emotions of the struggles this young woman, Ava, endured. I felt her pain, her fear, her sorrow and her joy. If you haven’t read this Trilogy from the start, I highly recommend it. I look forward to diving into the next Trilogy Brenda writes. She never disappoints her readers. This book is a must read!
I just happened upon this author with the first book in this series. I was hooked immediately. The lives of Ava and Skylor captured me. I was so glad to find there were going to be another book in this series in the future. As of now, I have read all three books in this series and each book including the last was wonderful. A good funny, sad, happy and clean read. I rate this last book a five star and recommend to all. The author tells the story so well I could imagine myself being in the lives of each character!! Thank you, Brenda Kennedy for your talent and dedication to your readers!!
Seeking the Future is Brenda Kennedy's latest and best book yet. When I started reading this book I assumes it would be very simular to her other books. Boy was I mistaken! She took on an entire different style of writing with this one. I loved both the characters as well as the realistic situations they found themselves in. This book awakened every emotion I have. Throughout this book I became excited, happy, angered, anxious as well as consumed. I could not put this book down from beginning to end. I love her newest style of writing and look forward to reading much more from this author. Job well done Brenda Kennedy!
I have been a Beta reader for Brenda since she wrote her first book. As the Queen of Cliffhangers I have to say her writing just keeps getting stronger. This book is so full of, Hardship, Love, Family, Friendship & Hope. The dynamics with these characters are so strong. I feel like the book (series) drags you right in and makes you feel like part of their everyday life. I highly recommend this series. Totally loved it.
From the moment I started this series I couldn't wait for Ava to get her HEA . If anyone deserved it she did. I also was rooting for Chase from the beginning as well. So needless to say it was quite the journey in true B.K fashion. I can't give anything away but if you read the first two in the series you will NOT be disappointed and the ending was well worth the wait! I can't wait for Nicole's story. ❤️
oH MY GEEZERS!!!!! what an awesome ending to another amazing set of books by Brenda Kennedy. I honestly cant say enough how much I love her work. This book literally had me up all night so I could finish it. :) To bring such topics to light and with such honesty, I felt like I was sitting right there with all the characters living it out with them. A definite must read for all three books!!!
Where to begin? These books have been so great. I love how it shows the love and strength chase and ava have they have been through some hard times and are still side by side. when I first started Brenda's books I fell in love with her characters. They seem so real and it's like your right there with them. I can't wait to see what's in store for the next go around. Keep up the great reads.
I'm a speed reader. I can't remember who made a statement earlier in book that would have given me answer to Guess Who'. Now rather than reread, or look for location I will continue to Guess Eho.
I enjoyed the entire series. I laughed and cried through the three books. It was very emotional and real. Ava went through a lot at her young age but is very strong.
What an end to this series. Ava does get her happy life in the end. Ava is faced with challenges but is able to move forward with her life. Amazing read
Another great ending to another great series by Brenda Kennedy. She just keeps getting better and better, with her stories. This one has more strength and depth and more emotions tugging at you. I loved this series and the ending is right up there with what I look forward too..a happy ending. Of course there are some hardships and trials, crying and tears, laughter and happiness, but she makes it all work out..Its a great read and one you will not be disappointed in. Of course I believe once you read one of Brenda's books you will read them all.
I can't help but wander what happened to the rest of the characters. But all stories must come to an end. Great writing. I really enjoyed your Forgotten Trilogy
Although I was relieved to finally get the last book of this trilogy, I had some anxiety going in, not knowing what to expect. Well, I should have know better! With Brenda, there is never any reason to be nervous. This book was amazing. I went through an array of emotions from start to finish. There was happiness, sadness, tension and fear. But overall there was joy. There were definitely some parts that had me perched at the end of my seat but in the end, the only thing I feel is lucky. Lucky to have read such an amazing book by such an amazing author. You have done it again Brenda! I loved it!!
Ahhh I think this is probably one of the most suspenseful books I've read from Brenda yet!!! With everything Ava has already been through, you could only home she would find the happiness she deserves with the help of her family and friends. Wondering if she'll ever remember the life she once had Ava fights to keep her life as normal as possible. Will Ava get the normal life she so desperately wants or will the past she can't remember come back with ugly vengeance? Thank you Brenda for continuing to let me BETA read for you! You never leave me disappointed!! Can't wait for the next trilogy!
An amazing end to an epic trilogy. This trilogy truly has it all. Romance. Suspense. And an amazing HEA.
Brenda Kennedy's books will draw you in and make you feel on every page. Her stories are based on things that can and do happen in real life, to real people, that you can relate to. Her characters become people you think of as friends.
This story does not go down easily, and before you can get to the happy you have to get through the sad. Be prepared with some kleenex!
Well certain people are taken care of in this third book of Avas life. She experiences love, loss and new beginnings. We learn more about Chase as well. Have fun reading!
I enjoyed this series. I hope the next series follows Drew & Skylar as they embark on the marriage adventure. I hope the tearoom is a HUGE success. I was so happy with the inclusion of the extended family. I can never put down a Brenda Kennedy book once I start reading it. I HAVE to finish it ASAP!!! Thank you for another Happy Ending.
