I totally LOVE this series!!! Pamela Ann I love you for these books but you are totally KILLING me with the waiting for the next one!

Whilst reading this you might want to have a fan nearby or an extra pair of panties (#just a thought) because WOW- I cannot begin to describe how explosive the chemistry is between Bass and Emma!

I don’t want to say more about this crazzyyy whirlwind love story except that if you didn’t read this series, you are definitely missing out!

Sure, they ended on a great note, but don't think that it will stay that way because at the end of the book, the author left them with yet another dilemma and left us with a lot of things to ponder and lots of waiting for the next book to come out. Thanks, Pamela. LOL.
But, they are happy...FOR NOW.
Overall, this book gave me a massive headache! But, I LOVED IT! You all know I love torturing myself by reading these type of novels. Very steamy and full of angst. So if you enjoy doing that too, I assure you THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU :)
BTW, that cover is DAMN HOT!

I really should stop reading these. I just want to smack the crap out of, well, everyone. Emma is a dumb ass. Why she can't see how much Bass adores her, I'll never get. Bass a dumb ass. He should know better then to tell her to do something, and then be pissed about her doing it. And Carter, well, I still haven't forgiven Carter for his behavior in the first book, no matter how he seems to have cleaned up his act. I'd pretty much like to stab him in the junk and drop him in shark infested waters.
I'll read the next one, because, well, I just have to see how much me drama we can pack in. Just reading about them is exhausting!

HOLY HELL, OH MY GOD, I WANT TO THROW UP, NO I DON’T I WANT TO SLAP THE SHIT OUT OF BASS, WAIT I LOVE HIM, OH NO YOU DID NOT PAMELA ANN, OH MY GOD YOU DID, WHAT THE…… I THINK I JUST HAD A PANIC ATTACK!
Did you feel that because that was the emotional train wreck I just witnessed also known as Blasphemous and I LOVED every minute (No I didn’t really but Yes I did.)
”Falling in love was like being in a constant state of elation. It was the closet feeling to flying. It didn’t matter how high you got, though, one must eventually come down, sooner or later. The lows of being in love, sadly, were a bitter emotion. It brought out the ugliest form of demons.”
OK let’s read that again and let me tell you Pamela took these words and she showed us what they really mean. I experienced every single emotion possible in a relationship. I was happy, I was mad, I was a serious crying messing, I was anxious, I was HOT, and I was in love!
I have a serious attachment to Bass, and since Scornfully Yours I think the boy is perfection. I still think the boy loves like no other he is so passionate, he is controlling and he doesn’t hide his emotions. THIS BOOK PROVED THAT!!!! I am going to be honest the boy still owns a piece of heart and I am still all TEAM BASS, I said it!! I am claiming my team and I will stand by his mistakes!!
”And in a blink of an eye and a quick flutter of my heart. I fell in love with him all over again.”
Oh yes my poor Bass and Emma make some mistakes in this book and it left a door open for Mr. Cheater Pants Carter I don’t like your face to step in and show me a different side. A side that made me all, I like you Carter and then I was like WTH, WAIT A FREAKING SECOND I AM GOING TO KILL SOMEONE!! But then I realized Carter wasn’t the bad guy I had built him up to be. I knew he was coming full force and I completely understood why, he wanted Emma back and he took his game serious.

Seriously, there were so many times I wanted to kick my kindle and hope the characters felt it. I was sick to my stomach. Pamela is brilliant in the sense she wrote a story that I more than felt, I was completely involved in this story mentally, emotionally, and physically.
“I was so deep in my I’m-so-depressed I-think-I-need-Dr-Phil-any-day-now.”
I want to write so much but this is one of those books where you have to experience it. You know the story if you read Scornfully Yours, you know this triangle, you know the emotion these characters have. I am going to be honest you are going to hate this book, you are going to love this book, and you are going to want to bottle the experience you get from this book so you can feel it again and again.

Pamela Ann did a great job writing this third book in this series and I thank her for giving me the opportunity to review it for an honest review but this story totally drove me insane.
This book has me all hyped up and annoyed. I think if I could jump inside the story, I wouldn’t know which character to kick first.
Bass Cole has realized that he is completely in love with Emma Anderson.
”Emma,” he echoed.
I spun around, questioning. “What?”
“I’m so fucking knee-deep, obsessively and passionately, crucial about forever in love with you.”~Bass
Their movie is wrapping up and if you have read Frayed then you are well aware of the hard core press tactics Carter Mason has put on Emma to win her back after his EPIC fail in book one.
Bass finds out about Carter’s persistence and breaks up with Emma after finding out that Carter still holds a piece of her heart.
Not for a day or a week but for 8 MONTHS!!
Bass tries to replace her with other women and one sticks around named Nikki. Meanwhile, Emma is broken drops out of school and uses Carter’s love and friendship to cope. (I don’t blame her it’s 8 months)
For some reason, nothing Emma did annoyed me in this book. Bass on the other hand, broke her heart so very cruelly that I almost threw my nook several times.
When the cast of Blashpehmous gets back together to tour, Bass realizes that he can’t live with Emma any longer and pursues her.

Bass and Emma have hot chemistry but this reader was so exhausted by Bass actions that I felt like I was crawling to the finish line of a long marathon only to have one last bomb dropped on me at the end.
Will there ever be an hea for these characters?
Overall, this was an extremely frustrating read for me. There is a secret about Lindsey that will have a reader interested in the next book until we get the final installment of Bass, Emma and Carter.

Where to begin this… At this moment I am only at 43% but I have so much emotion flowing through me I knew I would have to write this review in pieces. So here goes….You must read Scornfully Yours & Frayed before this book. I fell in love with Bass in SY and the pieces of him from Frayed just intensified that love. There were things in Frayed that I knew were going to come back and bite Emma in the rump and boy was I right. To make my point about how much I love Bass he is seriously fighting my #1 BB for the spot and my #1 has been there for a while now.
During the first part of this book I fell harder for Bass and in love with Emma too and now they are literally ripping me apart. Shredded do you hear me? I am shredded right now and I can’t read fast enough because I can’t see the dang page. Bass & Emma’s pain has become my own and it’s killing me. I don’t drink but I could use a shot about right now that is how bad this book is affecting me.
You ever just want to crawl in the pages and shake the characters and yell at them to stop screwing things up already; to get the words out of their heads and spit them out? Then you want to just crawl in there and comfort them and help them through all the pain. I’m telling you this book gutted me like none other to this point and I read A LOT.
The love between Emma & Bass is so all consuming, soul sucking forever type of love that so many people search a lifetime to find and so few find. The world seems to throw obstacles in their way at every turn. Pamela Ann has done a marvelous job of expressing this love within the pages. I have never cried so much over one book happy and sad tears. I love this series so much and highly recommend them.

I am so addicted to this series! So in the first book I hated Carter and thought that Bass hung the moon. In Torn I started to feel like Bass was just a little too perfect...in Blasphemous we see doubt, fear, and jealousy literally eat Bass alive. I think Bass totally overreacted in BOTH instances. I honestly do not think Bass & Emma will make it....yes I said it! He does not trust her and is going to drive them both insane! Carter through me through the ringer in this book. I wanted to remember that he is cheating scum, but he was so patient, sweet, and such a good friend. So I totally switched sides. I think Emma should be with Carter!

PAMELA ANN...ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME??? I'm freakin speechless!! I'm having a love/hate moment!!!! I'm really at a loss for words!! I almost threw my Ipad Mini across the room....more than once :/. I'm TEAM BASS all the way...but he frustrated me & Emma frustrated me!!! Immaturity & pride got in the way! When they're together, they're SIZZLING HOTT!!! & when they're NOT together, they're SIZZLING NOTT!!! I'm numb...I WAS NOT expecting that...definitely NOT!!! I will NOT make it until August....no freakin way!!!!

Blasphemous (Torn #3) by Pamela Ann was a very gratifying read. In fact this whole series was that way. There are very few series that I have read that I can say each book was as good as the first. I can undeniably say that about this series. I almost always love the first book in a series & the rest after just fall flat or are just “okay” for me while everyone else ohhhh’s & ahhhh’s about sequels & I think maybe there is something wrong with me. So thank you Pamela Ann for a number of things. First & foremost THANK YOU for BASS COLE <3 Holy shit do I love him! & thank you for writing some of the best & hottest sexy scenes I have read to date. DAMN GIRL!! I also would like to thank you for making me love & actually give a shit about every character in this series & not just the main characters (that is so important).I love the way we get to see what’s happening in all the characters lives even if the book is about a certain pair & then you always bring it back to Bass & Emma. Wow! Just Wow! This book is, by far, my most favorite one of Pamela's. The ups and downs (and there were SO many more downs) were so intense; heart-wrenching. I loved the dynamics of all the relationships, the secrets uncovered, and, oh yeah, the sex scenes! Whoa! Just Whoa!

I loved this book so freakin much but OMG.....
1). I HATE cliffhangers!!!! I know they are a necessary evil at times but it feels like I had to wait FOREVER for Blasphemous, and now I have to wait until August for more Bass and Emma.
2). This book was so freakin good but at times I wanted to freakin smack the crap out of Emma but there was just as many times I wanted to do severe bodily harm to Bass.
This book pretty much has everything that makes me crazy over a book. Bass is so freakin hot. He can be so romantic and so sweet, protective, giving and sexy. Then there is Emma. She is beautiful, cautious yet open minded. She is flirty, yet when she loves, she gives her whole heart. The secondary characters are amazing and I am just excited about their books as I am about Fixated On You (book #3)
This installment is full of drama, angst, secrets, lies by omission and hot, steamy, make your toes curl, you better get out a fan or you will combust scenes. Did I mention the angst? I found myself literally grinding my teeth at some of the stupid crap this couple did. Then their was their chemistry. Their passion is so hot that at times I thought steam would come out of my iPad.

This book is also chopped full of quotes (at the beginning of each chapter) that I absolutely loved, and found myself highlighting.

I have to say that I was a little shocked at a few of the curve balls Ms. Pamela threw in this one. I detest Nikki. I was really disappointed in Bass when Nikki was introduced in this book. I was also a little shocked at how mean and hurtful he could be (there is one scene that broke my heart at how cold he was to Emma). The secondary characters certainly had a few twists and turns I didn't see coming as well (I am anxiously waiting Lindsey & Dimitri's story). And then their is the end.... OMG... I knew it was coming but when it hit I felt blindsided.......
This is a definite "All Time Favorite" series for me. I have recommended it to all of my friends and Pamela Ann is one of my favorite, must read authors. I love her series "Chasing" just as much as this one. If you are trying to decide if you want to commit to this series, then my recommendation is "Do not hesitate-GO, Go! Go... You will not be disappointed.
With that said, I will leave you with one more mouth watering quote from Mr. Bass Cole:

Ok so Book 2 of Emma and bass had it all, love sex and angst. I could not put it down once I started it. You fell in love with Carter and Bass, you loved Emma and you will hate bass and dislike Emma, yep I said it. I did not know what the heck was going to happen next.
I want to say that Emma will do a lot of growing up in this book and started to love her character more and more, I loved how she did things her way, and how she became this sex vixen and made things about her
I could not stop it once I opened it, just when I thought Emma and Bass found there happily ever after……BAM all hell broke less, I was left a blubbering mess, I wanted to reach into the book and slap Bass a couple of times. Pamela did an incredible job with this book; she had me all over the place. One I first started Book 3 of the Torn Series I was ALL TEAM BASS but damn it if I did not fall in love with Carter in this book. Carter was fighting hard to get Emma back; I have to say that made me fall for him.
I will end with the end of the Book has a WTH what now, through out all the ups and downs it is and was worth it, please hit click and read it, it will not disappoint you, it might make you feel a range of emotions but it will be well worth it. I am now waiting to see the final chapter of Bass/Emma/Carter Saga. Pamela once again did one heck of job.

This book…OMG, what am I going to do with these people??? My stomach is in knots!
Bass: I so understand you, but we need to talk! I love how you love Emma, but UGH!!! You people! Sometimes, I feel so bad for you. I understand your insecurities sometimes. Love can drive you crazy.

I finished this book a few days ago. I don’t know how to say what I feel because I don’t want to give away any spoilers.
Did I connect with the characters? Yes…too much. I feel like I need to smack my friends around a little bit!! I need some medication for the ulcer they caused me!!!
Pace of Story? Some parts I felt like “we are going through that again? NO!!!”
Positives: You honestly don’t know what is going to happen and I have to say…I like that in a story. My stomach felt twisted with some of their behavior, but that is what you get with this story.
Negatives: At this point, they need to break up or get back together or choose someone else! And when I mean get back together, I mean cut all ties with people that cause heartache in their lives. Some parts were a little too much, but I think that is where they are with their relationship right now.
Do I recommend? Yes, this series to hot, steamy, but be prepared for some drama and miscommunication. Sometimes, your stomach will be in knots.
Bottom line: I keep going back to the first book in this series, Scornfully Yours, when Emma ran into a “psychic” who said the following to her “The man who will wholeheartedly deserve your love is the man who will be there at your lowest, the one who loves you in all your shades-the light, the hued and the dark.”

OH MY OH MY OH MY!!!!!!

Let's take a long deep breath in and out, b/c I held my breath so much reading Blasphemous!! Take a seat b/c angst is driving and you can't get off until the end. It will leave you swirling around thing WTH is happening with Bass/Emma/Carter.
THIS BOOK SOARED!!!! I was hooked instantly on Bass in Scornfully Yours and I'm not abandoning my team no matter what the heck that boy does.
I read Blasphemous in one sitting. I inhaled this book. There was no way I could not finished it once I started. There was so much happening that I thought if I stopped I would miss out. LOL!!
At times I was so hopeful, gloating in contentment for Bass and Emma and then all of a sudden ALL OF A SUDDEN hell opens up and a stupid little thing becomes massive, striking me in my chest screaming at my kindle "come on snap out of it would ya, open your eyes".... then I imagined I slapped um..... the character so hard!! Yeah you needed that slap back to reality!!!!
Pamela has such a talent to write a story and draw you in completely. She has made me like a cheater..yes Carter is a cheater..one time is enough. But darn it if I don't love Carter. Don't worry I am not switching teams. I'm not lunatic!!! :) I don't blame Carter at all for trying to win back Emma. We knew he would try that was obvious. He stepped up his game in B and was perfect as he could be but it is not enough for me.
I have so many things I wish I could say but it would ruin it and that is not the reason for my review. My review is to tell you to read this book. To tell you, you will love it, you will hate it, you will be queasy with the angst roller-coaster ride and end up getting off questioning all sorts of things. But in the end you will be thankful you read such an overwhelmingly stunning story of love and trust and openness.

Another great book by Pamela Ann! I love Bass but he was really frustrating in this book! He put new meaning into the word angst. But it is real love isn't always easy or a walk in the park. In face most of the time it is not so very realistic.
I hope Bass doesn't have to pay for his mistakes in the next book. Loved this supporting characters as always. In this book through I loved Dimitri and Trista the most out of the supporting characters. It could be because I know more about Trista's past since her book but I felt like Lindsey was kind of wrapped up in herself and the problems she created for herself.
Carter's softer side was nice to see but I can never look past a 5some no matter what so I will always be team Bass because of that.

This was another great book in the series and I'm looking forward to Lindsey's book, then Emma's final book (Team Bass) and then Amber's book which will be the final book in series! There is so much emotional angst in this book and I just keep hoping Bass and Emma would realize how amazing they are together! I can't wait to see what's coming for this couple.

Esta historia me sacó de mis casillas. Emma me angustiaba hasta el punto de tener que hacer pausas leyendo porque me enfadaba su actitud. La forma en la que ocultaba todo respecto a Carter a Bas... me desquiciaba. Tal vez fuera por pensar que existía la posibilidad de que la historia terminara con ella volviendo con el chico que le había hecho daño.
Emma tiene la vida resuelta con las oportunidades que le brinda Bass, aparte de la gran química que tienen y que parecen complementarse. Y Bass le da todo lo que es y tiene a Emma, y ella insiste en ocultarlo todo, a pesar de la cantidad de veces que le dice que lo quiere.
Bass tiene muchísimas dudas respecto a Carter y es normal viendo que, cada vez que lo menciona, Emma tiene una nueva sorpresa por su parte. Mucho estaba aguantando.
Es frustrante y Emma me decepciona en muchas ocasiones.
Si no habéis leído la primera entrega, hacedlo porque es preciosa. Pero preparaos para esta segunda (repito, desde el punto de vista de Emma, los libros anteriores contienen escenas de Carter y Emma aunque sean desde el punto de vista de Trista) porque no vais a saber por dónde os viene el drama.
Me llevé una sorpresa con Dimitris porque muestra una parte de él que no habíamos visto antes. Una buena sorpresa, que conste.
Sobre Bass tengo que decir que me sacaba de quicio también. Había partes en las que era un egoísta irracional y no dejaba a Emma espacio para explicarse, se centraba sólo en sí mismo y sus emociones, pero no se para a pensar o empatizar con ella, que es la que está en medio de todo este lío.
Sus intenciones son buenas, pero Bass vive en un pensamiento constante de que Emma lo va a dejar para volver con Carter. Dice cosas realmente hirientes y llega a ser comprensible que Emma no le quiera decir nada, pero el hecho de ocultar cosas sólo empeora todo.
Para Carter sólo tengo dos cosas que decir: aléjate y piérdete. Me fastidia muchísimo que no deje de entrometerse entre Emma y Bass, ya sea con regalitos o apareciendo de la nada listo para arruinar todo.
Sinceramente, el final de este libro me dejó con buen sabor de boca, pero aún falta una tercera parte en la que tengo que adentrarme para ver cómo concluye este triángulo amoroso entre Bass, Emma y Carter. Tengo muchas ganas de saber si Emma, por fin, es capaz de entregarle su corazón a un solo hombre. Y, por supuesto, saber si es Bass o Carter.

This kind of drove me nuts. The mind games that Emma played with Bass and the way Carter worked his little weasel self back into the picture well it was maddening. I felt really bad for Bass the way Emma dangled him on a line making him look like a fool, again. All because she had to keep her little dirty secrets about Carter. When she couldn't tell Bass that she didn't love Carter and that she loved them both equally and she was trying to get to the same place that he was, well that was a deal breaker for me. Then I realized that she is a moron, all the things she put up with from Carter and she was still keeping Carter on the back burner in case..... Then not telling Bass anything she carries on as if nothing happened and never was honest with Bass. Knowing her track record with Carter (aka the snake) she was clueless to expect Bass to trust her. I started to feel like I didn't care if they ended up together because I didn't like how Emma kept so many secrets from Bass and deluded herself with her sins of omission. The continuous rebounding was unbelievable. All the crap started because of them going off mad after a breakup and finding the first person they could to screw to forget they ex, or in Carter's case just being a complete dick. The fact that Emma continues to keep Carter within in reach by not shutting him completely out was a little twisted. Carter kept flirting with her and all the innuendoes when she supposedly "loved" Bass was irritating. Then she let's Carter strip her done not even a month after Bass had given up on the whole charade because she "needs it" well i wasn't really caring. To rationalize her way of letting Carter touch her because she gave him limits well that was convenient. Then she like when I start dating will I consider Carter? I'm like who cares your an effing slut!They were all a bunch of whoredogs. I was disgusted with the whole idiotic story. I got tired of her pity party about Bass when she was messing around with Carter using him as her little reliever and then when she was around Bass she acted like such a sleaze, of course Bass thought it was hot. Their relationship was so dysfunctional at times I was hoping it would twist and go a different direction. The love triangle was wearing me thin. Carter,Emma and Bass, were all self absorbed, sex addicts, they were always looking for the next time they could jump each others bones. Emma had the restraint of a gnat, she would ping pong from Bass to Carter and it blew my mind how easily she did that. The side drama with Lindsey was enough to make me want to avoid her upcoming story altogether

Yes, this book is on my best ever shelf! That 's how freckin much I loved this book.
OMG! That was the most intense rollercoaster ride I've ever experienced! First I'm up, then down, sideways and upside down. All in one chapter ;) Holly hotness Pamela Ann where in the world do you get all of this emotion? I would be like "Go Bass" and then the next chapter would be "Booooo Bass" . Then comes " Stay away from Carter" to "Go Carter" and then it would just start all over again. I had to stop reading at 2:00 a.m., only because I had to get some shut eye. All day I was stuck in that darn elevator since that was where I left them with absolutely no idea where they were going to end up!
The quotes and music references just made this book that much deeper onto their relationships! Yes, THEIRS'!! When I first heard Bruno Mars "When I was Your Man" I was like this is sooo Carter's story, but I would have never imagened in a million years how it related to Bass! you blow me away . This book has me so tied in knots that I don't think there is any way I can start a new book! Your books always touch so many emotions :)
I'm not much of a writer, but this series is one I wish I could put into the upmost flatering words. This book took me beyond my wildest imagination. Holy all things that are HOT! This series is a must, but one that you do have to start at the beginning with Scornfully Yours, Emma's book #1.
I also love the fact that she included sneak peak of a book from a friend that is coming out June 1st

I'm not much of a writer, but this series is one I wish I could put into the upmost flatering words. This book took me beyond my wildest imagination. Holy all things that are HOT! This series is a must, but one that you do have to start at the beginning with Scornfully Yours, Emma's book #1.

HOLY CHICAGO! This book is EXPLOSIVE!!!!!!!!!!! (Yes, extra exclamation points because this book is just that good!)
Okay, so let me tell ya: it's the first time I'm writing a review on goodreads. Why, I don't know. But I could NOT stop myself this time. This book is the kind of book everyone with a desire for a good love triangle (GUILTY!), holy-smokeballs-this-is-some-steamy-shiz, boundless, heartfelt, breathtaking SEX, some whoa-you-did-NOT angst and just an all consuming, take your breath away love. Throw in a couple tears in the mix, too. Fair warning. *wink*
Sometimes I tend to have a problem with heroines but Emma was just perfect to me. The right mixture of sass and sweet, with a touch of sex kitten on top. LOVED HER. Carter and Bass... Sigh. Now, I KNOW Carter was a grade A douchelord in book 1 (I mean, seriously, Carter? Seriously? Keep it in yo' pants!) and I most definitely wanted to smack him in the balls one or 67 times, BUT... I still held a soft spot for him and Emma. It's the first love triangle in which I'm not unequivocally team A or B. I just love them both, which is why this book confused me so much emotionally...but also why it stayed with me for so long after (I read it a month ago and just finished rereading.)
Seriously, Pamela, WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME!??!?! SEPTEMBER 28?!?!?! My heart. My Anderson, Cole, Mason HEART! *sobs*
If y'all need me, I'll be in my corner weeping. Wake me up when September 28 comes!

OMG, OMG, OMG!!! That’s pretty much how I was feeling during this whole book. I loved it! But I wanted to throw my Kindle into a wall so many times. I wanted to punch both Bass and Emma multiple times during this book! I even fell a little bit in love with Carter. Blasphemous took me on a rollercoaster of emotions! I was crying one minute and pissed off the next!
I fell hard for Bass Cole in Scornfully Yours. In Blasphemous, I loved him and I hated him and I loved him again! Bass and Emma both make mistakes in their relationship. Bottom line, they are both very passionate people but they need to learn to communicate and trust each other. Saying that this book had some angst is an understatement!!
I can’t wait for the next book in this series!!

OMFG! Blasphemous totally messed with my head...I could not stop reading, "ALL" of my emotions were invested in this book. The roller coaster ride that I totally rode with Emma & Bass was at the very least tumultuous. I am so totally drained after reading this book, I think I felt every last emotion that these characters experienced.
On the upside I wont need a therapist as I am sure every last break-up demon I have every locked away has been exorcised while reading this book.
Fame and Fortune, Love & Trust; can Emma and Bass truly make their relationship work? Are there too many obstacles for them to ever fully share the relationship they are seeking? Stubbornness & Insecurity reek havoc in this book. You will be on the edge of your seat..because Ms Ann totally gets you into a false sense of security and then "BAM" throws the whole thing into a new tail-spin.
And to top it all off this book ends on a cliff hanger...ARRRRGGGHHH!
Love this series, Love Pamela's style...there's more to come and I will be ready and waiting!!!

OMG I CAN'T! It was such a clusterfuck of emotions that I wanted to scream. I don't know if I wanted to slap both Bass and Emma for being so stupid about their insecurities or what. One thing is for sure though, their love for each other consumes them so much that they just end up almost destroying each other. And the other that was undeniable was their chemistry. And the sex, always hot! ;)
I somehow felt bad for Carter too. Whether he deserved it or not, a person can only take so much hurt that it'll end up destroying him. I somehow wish Carter gets his happy ending as well.
I hope on the next book that they just get their shit together because just reading this book was so exhausting. I can't wait for the next one!

It was so back and forth and emotionally draining. I so wanted Emma and Bass to be on the same page. I loathed what carter did but she forgave too easily...that kind of betrayal I don't know if I could have became friends again. I still enjoyed the book and this series though ..just emotionally invested.

Whew! Talk about a book worth reading! Hot, hot, hot, but with so much more than just that...the storyline is fantastic! I can't wait to read more of this series because the books just keep getting better and better!

Oh. My. God. Again, Pamela leaves me screaming ready to throw my Kindle trying to pick my jaw off the floor, and I still can't get enough. I couldn't wait for Blasphemous and when I got it I stopped everything I was doing locked myself away in my room and couldn't put it down.
We begin and Bass and Emma are in the final stages of filming in Greece and they're... happy. But as with every web that Ms. Ann spins that happiness is short lived. When they wrap filming and return home Bass finds a little piece of Carter Mason that Emma has been keeping from him and ALL HELL BEAKS LOOSE! Acting like a complete asshole Bass breaks up with Emma... for good this time....well for 8 MONTHS to be exact.
"I could've given you the world if you'd given me the chance, but that will be your biggest regret, not mine...I'm going to be that man in your life you will never forget. You'll mourn the loss of me. You'll feel it every single day because I'm not coming back to you...Goodbye, Emma."
Emma freaking Anderson I love you! Emma rocked this book and did it with style. After Bass broke her heart she decided that some changes in her life needed to be made and took that time to gather herself up again to embrace her new single life and also to life as a somewhat celebrity. In this time though Carter Mason manages to weasel his way back into Emma's world and guess what he's the freaking good guy. Say what? I never thought I would say this about Carter but he was there, he was sweet, and attentive, and was there for Emma when she needed someone the most.
"Was this man Carter Mason? I think not"
Bass Cole I think I may have almost felt about Bass in this book the way I felt about Carter in Scornfully Yours (Torn # 1) He drove me crazy I wanted to scream at him and tell him that he's acting like a damn fool! So after the break up to give him the benefit of the doubt he doesn't exactly whore it up but eventually enters into another contract relationship with another co-star Russian knockout Nikki Pavlova. Lasting the duration of their filming in Texas Bass conveniently ends his relationship with Nikki but this may be one woman that he may not be able to escape, and she truly may be the one to change Bass Cole's life for good.
"I'm in love with you, Bass. I've always been crazy about you, but now it's so much more"
8 months of being apart Bass and Emma are reunited again for the press release of Blasphemous and my my how the tables have turned. Emma is confident, beautiful, still single and has proved Bass Cole wrong of every vile word he has ever spewed at her. And Bass is jealous. I loved this part of the book. Throughout this whole book I felt like I had just gone through a break up, feeling every emotion that Emma was feeling, being supremely pissed at Bass but nothing was like their reunion and the way Emma carried herself, it was epic and written to absolute perfection. It wasn't easy for her she was still in love with Bass, but she was not going to jump right back into his waiting and wanting arms. Bass deserved every moment, every feeling of despair, every word of truth that Emma said to him. I did feel bad for him because even though I didn't want to I still liked him, but I wanted him to hurt, I wanted him to see what he left behind, and I feel all the pain that Emma felt when he pushed her completely out of his life.
"Hurt you?...You have the audacity to fling accusations ...Hurt you? Seriously, I'm done talking to you. I am done."
"You wish it was"
"Huh!...Do you remember that time in Aspasia...Did you like it when I did everything you wanted?...Memories, Bass. That's what you get for letting me go. Now, go fuck that flat chested bitch because you aren't getting any from me. Goodbye"
And yet again we end with a bang. I couldn't believe it, I still can't believe it. I finished the book on Thursday and haven't read anything since, because this ends in a complete mind fuck. I feel like I waited forever and just when I think yes their going to make it, team Bass and Emma all the way one blasted phone call ruins it all!

My overall thoughts am I upset with the ending heck yes I was not expecting THAT, but that is just one of the reasons I love Pamela Ann's writing. I hate cliffhangers, I despise them and she has left me hanging every single time, but I will never get enough.
