This was so damn adorable! Just what I needed...a light, sweet read filled with great banter and all the awwwww's that your heart desires.

Klar, es ist eher eine Kurzgeschichte, aber das Ende ging ja wirklich nicht abrupter. Schade, weil an Sonaten ist vor allem Jessica Clare’s Schreibstil einfach toll. Doch auch die Geschichte an sich ging mir leider viel zu schnell. Dennoch wären mir beide Charaktere sehr sympathisch, auch wenn ich mich nicht wirklich in Luke verliebt habe (steh auch nicht so auf Schauspieler lol).

Yüz sayfa bile olmayan kitabı on iki bölüme ayırmış yazar. Dolayısıyla hızlı , kısa , aşırı yüzeysel bir hikaye çıkmış ortaya. Hayır yazmaya bile gerek olmayan bağlantısız bir hikaye gibi. Hollywoodun parlak oyuncusu Luke ve küçük bir ülkenin veliaht prensesi Alex'in hikayesi.

How the main characters were related to the Billionaires Boys Club members, I’ll never know. Probably because I can’t remember much about this series.
Anyhow, this novella was an okay read. 2.5 rate at least. A bit annoying with that solo sexy scene coz’ they kept talking while doing the deed. It kind of ruined the momentum.
And h was too insecure for a princess. I mean, crowned princess vs. Hollywood celebrity? Come on, get real.

I loved the pairing more than anything. A perfect princess who isn’t a great beauty and dashing hollywood star.

I took a small break from this series and when I came back I realized that I missed so much! I ended up picking this novella up so that I could fall back into the story.
It was a fun, quick read that had a bit more sweetness than sexiness – but overall, I enjoyed it and it was just the taste of the series I needed to put it back into my mind so I can finish the journey.

5 Royal Me Stars
I love the Billionaire Boys Club like mad. I was really sad when I thought the series was over, BUT it’s not and this little in between book is the perfect treat. I wouldn’t consider His Royal Princess a novella, but it’s on the shorter side compared to Jessica Clare’s other reads. To me it was perfect.
Again, His Royal Princess is a standalone.
This is Princess Alex and Luke’s story.
There’s a princess and a movie star, what other grand combination can you get? It’s like the perfect recipe for a light-hearted book. I madly enjoyed His Royal Princess. I was smiling like mad and I couldn’t put it down. Not only the storyline was enjoyable, but the characters were so entertaining and the chemistry was hot.
Princess Alex does what she is told. She is refined and a good girl, but she also has a movie star crush on Luke. When she realizes Luke’s newest movie is in town filming she decides to stop by. She is the royal princess, she can do stuff like that.
I love Alex. I love how she wasn’t snobby and really innocent. I love that she loves her country but she craves affection and she wants to marry for love.
Luke is a rising star and he doesn’t know how he feels about it. He wants to do more serious roles, but right now he’s doing something he doesn’t enjoy. He meets Alex, but he doesn’t know she is who she is. Cute right? I love when Alex and Luke meet.
Luke is so hot and he thinks Alex is a hooker. I was laughing my butt off and I couldn’t get enough of it. Throughout the whole book I was just so happy reading. Since they are both high profile people, it’s difficult to date, but they make it work.
The thing that worked so well for me is that it’s like a fantasy book. I just love the outlandish scenes and dates. It really did take m on a journey.
I was so happy for this treat! You will not be disappointed.

After reading and enjoying
Billionaire on the Loose
, I was very curious about a couple mentioned in that novel. That couple was Princess Alexandra and American actor Luke Houston, and they are the protagonists of novella His Royal Princess by Jessica Clare. And I loved this book so much!
What I Liked:
Princess Alexandra was absolutely adorable. She's the future Queen of Bellissime, and she has a lot on her shoulders. She has always been proper - very well-behaved, and never causing a scandal. But she's still very relateable. One major way that she's so easy to relate to is her little crush on American actor Luke Houston.
When Alex discovers that Luke is filming in Bellissime, she can't resist getting a peek at him, which leads to an adorable meet-cute, where Luke thinks Alex is a prostitute. It was adorable and so amusing.
Luke is a nice guy. He's not an asshole movie star. He's a nice man, who is also gorgeous and man does he fall for Alex.
I loved Luke and Alex together so much!! It was just so clear that they would make the best couple ever.
Luke isn't afraid to sacrifice things to be with Alex. Sometimes I feel like the woman has to give up things a lot more than the man in a romance (an maybe in real life too) and I really appreciated that Luke was willing to give up things too. He was so swoony.
I love Alex's mother and grandmother. They didn't get a lot of page time in this novella, but when they were there, they really made an impact.
What I Struggled With:
It was too short! As I mentioned above I loved Alex's mother and grandmother, and I would have loved more of them. Because this was a novella, there just wasn't time. I would have loved a full-length novel!
The the drama at the end (although it wasn't super dramatic or over-the-top) was a little silly, but it was all resolved quickly.
Final Thoughts:

his royal princess definitely consisted of more "sweet" than sexy but to me this just seemed unrealistic. the princess, alex, was full of contradictions and the plausibility of this just did not seem like it was there. also, Clare adds the trope in of the mom being open about her sexual conquests and adventures. that is one trope i could forever do without.

With Luke's fame around his acting career and Alex's life as the Crown Princess, it was very difficult for them to build a relationship out of the public eye. But after Luke gets injured, Alex seizes the opportunity to care for him in the palace, and then things progress quickly from there. Short and sweet.

Questo libro è un viaggio dolce e sognante in quella che è una favola moderna in piena regola. Senza dubbio la storia non è originale, e la trama non è per niente intricata. Ma vorrei ricordavi che parliamo di una novella di una novantina di pagine appena.
È come una pausa di piacere dalla vita quotidiana, come quel cioccolatino che ogni tanto ci concediamo per addolcirci la giornata.
Una storia un po’ surreale senza dubbio, dove abbiamo principesse ventottenni vergini e attori di hollywood superstiziosi. Poco credibile sicuramente, eppure nemmeno così lontana dalla realtà, in fondo abbiamo già sentito la storia di un’attrice che ha lasciato la carriera e sposato il principe di un piccolo stato. Il pensiero mi è corso subito alla storia di Grace Kelly e del principe Ranieri; qui abbiamo ruoli invertiti e forse quella reale sarà stata meno fiabesca ma il nocciolo è lo stesso. Tanto che mi sono chiesta se l’autrice si sia ispirata a loro.
La Clare si è confermata una delle autrici di mio gusto, perché riesce a coinvolgere nonostante la narrazione in terza persona; mantenendo il punto di vista di entrambi i protagonisti. Usa un linguaggio diretto e semplice, qualche volta anche un po’ grezzo e non manca mai quello giusta dose di piccante che aggiunge un po’ di pepe ad una storia che altrimenti sarebbe stata troppo stucchevole. La cosa positiva è che anche se sono poco più di 100 pagine non abbiamo l'amore folgorante tra i due, ma la storia si sviluppa in più di un mese.

Alex is a princess infatuated with the sexy, hot actor Luke Houston. He's filming a new movie in her country, so she decides to pay a visit to the set. Luke is growing tired of his life and needs a vacation. The two meet rather unexpectedly; Alex knowing it was Luke, but Luke thinking her to be someone entirely different. Surely not a princess. The two meet, for real, and Luke is surprised Alex is the same woman. She wants him to be interested in her as a woman but she knows that his occupation affords him many options in that department. Luke, well he feels that she is so out of his league, he can't even fathom. So, she decides to keep visiting him on set hoping to encourage him. Can't he take a hint?
To his surprise, she has been on his mind constantly the last week. Soon they begin to meet in the shadows and become closer. To be together, Luke would have to give up the life he worked so hard to have.
THIS BOOK WAS AWESOME! LOVED THE CHARACTERS!
I especially love the way Luke was portrayed, not snobby or entitled. He was a normal guy, well as normal as an actor could be. Sure he was sexy and gorgeous, but he was also down to earth and level headed. Just a guy trying to be his best in the career he chose for himself. Alex, well she's a princess but not just any princess. The Crown Princess, next in line for the throne. She is regal and stately, but not full of herself. She knows what her future holds and accepts without a qualm. They have a great connection which leads to great sex. Is that all they will ever have?
This is a story about love. No matter what social status you have, love can conquer all.

With a misunderstood and underestimated actor and a bland constitutional princess who has never been kissed, this modern day story of young royals and their relationships doesn’t offer anything really interesting to read about.
Princess Alex is described by Luke as having an elegant, but not pretty face, but with a great body, including a plump behind and small breasts. Well, way to melt a girls heart – not the princesses, but the readers. Every woman wants to imagine themselves described this way. The beginning of the story starts out in a funny but predictable way.
This struck me as a short and silly sketch the writer used to help herself place the ONCE UPON A BILLIONAIRE novel mentioned in the blurb. It is not nearly as sex filled as the rest of the series, perhaps out of respect for the royal sensibilities of the princess? I’m not sure what the duties of this royal family are as they are either away getting fresh air or, in Alex’s case, visiting the movie set. This girl is physically innocent: at 28 she’s never even been kissed. These royals obviously subscribe to a different way of doing things than the rest of European royals!
I found myself preferring the rough and ready Luke to the Princess who scopes out naked guys on the internet. Actually, I liked her mother better and even the queen.
I was trying to remember who these royals were in relation to the royals in ONCE UPON A BILLIONAIRE (OUAB). I think it would be good, maybe, to read this short story immediately before or after OUAB —having the context more immediate would make this story much more interesting.

Princess Alex is described by Luke as having an elegant, but not pretty face, but with a great body, including a plump behind and small breasts. Well, way to melt a girls heart – not the princesses, but the readers. Every woman wants to imagine themselves described this way. The beginning of the story starts out in a funny but predictable way.
This struck me as a short and silly sketch the writer used to help herself place the ONCE UPON A BILLIONAIRE novel mentioned in the blurb. It is not nearly as sex filled as the rest of the series, perhaps out of respect for the royal sensibilities of the princess? I’m not sure what the duties of this royal family are as they are either away getting fresh air or, in Alex’s case, visiting the movie set. This girl is physically innocent: at 28 she’s never even been kissed. These royals obviously subscribe to a different way of doing things than the rest of European royals!
I found myself preferring the rough and ready Luke to the Princess who scopes out naked guys on the internet. Actually, I liked her mother better and even the queen.
I was trying to remember who these royals were in relation to the royals in ONCE UPON A BILLIONAIRE (OUAB). I think it would be good, maybe, to read this short story immediately before or after OUAB —having the context more immediate would make this story much more interesting.
This was a solid “Meh.”

Royal Princess vs. Hollywood movie star. Oh, yes, things are about to get interesting at the palace! Light hearted and cute! His Royal Princess was a sweet-make-a-girl-smile treat!
The quick of it is that Luke is filming in a tiny European country and his set has just been crash. He assumes by an, erm, escort sent to him for his birthday. In reality? A crown Princess for the country they're filming in. Oops! Thankfully his Princess has a good sense of humor. lol And off they go on a whirlwind romance.
I really enjoyed both Princess Alex--who was very sheltered and prim but had a daring naughty side--and Luke--a somewhat jaded movie star in need of having his world shook up just a bit. They were cute together and fun to be around.
They had some nice chemistry and heat and did I mention they were just plain ol' cute? I did, didn't I? But they were! They just made me smile as they dealt with movie sets, grumpy directors, paparazzi, Royal guards and crazy family members.
Clare gave a delightful taste of her style and charm with His Royal Princess--cheeky and fun! It's a quick read and perfect for a busy afternoon where you just desperately need an hours down time to escape into something fun and satisfying.

Ok I was a bit late in reading this since I loved the book in the series that was a sequel to this story with Griffin and his blond XD
- This story is about the princess and the Hollywood actor who marries in the series but here we witness their courtship XD
- The heroine had a fan crush on the actor so she wanted to see him in person and when she does he mistakes her for an escort so when the next day the truth comes out who she really is he burst his gut laughing XD
- Ok here she gets close to him and he feels a kinship to her and the Sparks starts flying
- The only thing that kinda almost ruined the whole thing when the heroine though that the hero didn't actually like her but acted like it
- I liked how the hero was so attracted to the heroine and how he was so all over her in a way whenever they were alone and vice versa
- I liked the time when he stayed at the castle XD
Overall, *thumbs up*

A quick read that wasn't really connected to the billionaire boys club at all. It was a case of insta love. I'm a fan of novellas exploring relationships between characters that have a history as then the connection feels more plausible for such a short length. There wasn't anything terribly wrong with this story, it was just cliched and predictable with very little heat.

Alex is royal princess of tiny European country, lusting after Luke, a Hollywood actor filming his new film in Alex's country. This is a novella so everything moves super fast with not much character development. Alex is sheltered but bold and Luke easily gives up his acting career for Alex. Just meh.

I was bored to death and each page was like pulling teeth. I'm sorry but it was shallow from the beginning. I endured until chapter 7 until I gave up. The princess was a mass of contradictions she pissed me off. For a royalty she has the time to sit for a film shoot like REALLY? *facepalm.
