This book is so not what it was supposed to be. I think its title, MR. CEO, is only because the heroine calls him that. But we really don't know anything about him besides being a CEO whose mother left both him and his father, who's in a "home" because he had a stroke and can't do much by himself. What kind of confuses me, because with all the money, one would think he would be cared at home. And later, much later in the book we find out the hero has a stage 4 cancer. What really upsets me, is that this book had all the elements to be a good book. But the author didn't not explore the potential. I can't believe I'm the only one who thinks this book is underdeveloped?! It focused more in the anger the heroine had towards her cheating ex boyfriend than in developing the h/H relationship. The h here is so stupid and weak. Every other page she was mentioning the ex and his cheating; what always brought anger to her. She was always angry. I mean. ALWAYS. Like every page. She would angry text the cheating ex and got angry because he never replied. She was upset because he never replied to any of her txts and because he never asked for forgiveness. She wouldn't let it go. The guy told her it was her fault he cheated and instead of forgetting the jerk she was always wondering why. Get some self respect. I mean, so much could have be done towards h/H relationship and hero's disease but most part of this book was about heroine hatred to the ex.
This story would be so much more engaging if it was focused in the turmoil hero felt towards his life. He liked the heroine but didn't want to give her any hope because he was sick. But she didn't know. She thought she was just a "sext toy". If this was executed right, the drama would be heartfelt. And the big conflict wasn't even the cancer. It was some picture of them having sex that one of his enemies published to ruin his reputation. The heroine broke up with him saying it was his fault this happened and she should never get involved with him. She asked him to stay away and later got upset because he never went after her. What a bitch. The way she handled it was so immature. I'm still thinking how the author made her head of a department as a profession. She doesn't have the brain to lead not even stuffed animals. This was so anticlimactic. And just in the end she found out he was sick. And talk about a rush ending. He got a treatment and got cured. I mean, 1 or 2 chapters and all was good?? One of the worst executions ever.

I wanted to give this book 5 stars bc it was really good but the h made me give it 4.
The h was not a strong character to me. AT ALL!!!!
OMG I almost had an aneurism over how she handled or should I say "LACK of handling" her ex boyfriend and her ex best friend.
I am not a violent person but I wanted to hit both of them over the head with a shovel and bury the bodies.
Or maybe just punch them in the face.
Either way the h did neither!!!!
I was so frustrated by this. I know this is petty but I would have banged Mr. CEO all over MY apartment I shared with my ex who was cheating on me with my best friend right in front of me. Gah! She had no back bone though. Come to think of it I wouldn't even be in this situation to begin with if I caught my boyfriend cheating. He would not be in my apartment PERIOD! But this is just going with the story line here. lol!
Other than that this was a great story. I loved Logan. He made this story for me. You could tell he was instantly in love with Charlotte from the beginning. He was such a hottie and sweetheart! ;)

Well... that was disappointing.
I'm pretty surprised I actually finished this mess.
I honestly don't even know where to start here.
I think my biggest problem here was Charlotte aka Rose, hands down one of the dumbest and most frustrating characters for me this year. If not ever.
We meet her a week after she discovers her boyfriend was cheating on her with her dumber than dumb bestie. She whines and cries a lot over an idiot with whom she was planning to start a family and tie the know. And yet she meets Logan, we have insta lust and suddenly nothing else matters and they jump into bed right away.
Apparently sis never got the memo that trying to get over a dick by jumping on another isn't the way to go. But whatevs.
So, Logan is so obsessed with Charlotte that he buys the company where she works, and they practically screw the entire book. There's not even one meaningful conversation between these two and tbh it got old pretty quickly.
I need to add that our idiotic heroine was too stupid to figure out how to kick out her ex out of her apartment!!! And he was screwing her ex bf right in her own bed and she let them treat her like it was their house and she was trespassing!!! And that dumb bitch didn't even say a word to them, she just decided to move out (of course Logan came to the rescue and found her a new place with just one call).
As the story goes on, our not so clever sis gets clingy and needy, tells him she's serious and wants a real relationship but Logan tells her to live in the moment. And she's so in love with him and apparently self respect is sth she never heard of so she decides to just go with the flow and then they shag even more.
And that's how we get to the disappointing ending. Someone takes photos of them going on like rabbits and leaks them to the press. She dumps Logan and blames him for everything, like she wasn't there. Then they make up very quickly and we get to find out that he has a stage 4 cancer and that was the reason why he didn't want to commit at the beginning. Sis cries, they exchange I-love-yous and get married. Oh, and Logan's cancer is miraculously cured.
And at that point I just rolled my eyes so much I was afraid they would stay like that.
Summing up, the story itself wasn't that bad tbh. But it was very uneven and underdeveloped, leaving us with a lot of unanswered questions and unfinished motives.
I did like Logan's character but that's no surprise because I usually like fucked up heros. The writing style wasn't bad either. I just wish the heroine wasn't this stupid, weak and annoying. Because she killed this book for me.
Hence the rating.

Audible – Narrators: Alastair Haynesbridge and Bunny Warren
Terrific narration giving each character a distinctive sound and deepening the story these authors created. Smooth and enjoyable. If any problem it was when a moment in the book is full of surprising action and the narrator’s voice speeds up so fast I struggled to understand and follow along. A few 30 second rewinds and I had caught it all but I did feel that that portion of the story was a bit overplayed.
When Logan sees Charlotte at a conference he sets out to do everything he can to make her his. No matter whether it’s good business or not, his Rose will be within his reach and he won’t let her go.
Rose is relatively new to her position within the company when they are taken over by another company. Suddenly she’s being uprooted and moved. Despite her nerves, she’s excited and she’ll do her very best. That is until she walks in and sees the man she never thought she’d see again.
This actually is very well developed with a bit of mystery, some drama and some heart wrenching angst. I hurt when Rose didn’t get what she needed from Logan but when the truth is revealed it went from heart wrenching to heart breaking. I would definitely say this one is a bit heavier than this duos usual works.

UGH! THIS ONE PULLED AT MY HEARTSTRINGS. I LOVED this read. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Logan is another book boyfriend to add to my list. He’s a hot, dominant, alpha male who was made to be the strong and confident businessman that he is today. Charlotte is on my top list of favorite heroines ever and I just loved everything about her. Her personality, spunk, intelligence, she’s a solid catch and totally relatable. This book had me busting out the tissues and I didn't put this down until I was finished with it. This was such a great book, I highly recommend reading this!!

Mr. CEO delivers exactly what it promises in the blurb. Happy ever after, no cheating and no cliff-hangers. Whilst this book wasn't really for me - I knew what I was getting into and fully expected to read a smut book and a smut book is what I got.
Charlotte Rose and Logan met at an industry conference where they immediately fell into insta-lust. Logan is depicted like any other possessive 'alpha' male that I have read in similar stories and Charlotte Rose seemed to exist purely to fulfill plot points for Logan (and vice versa). His level of possessiveness was incredibly intense and quite alarming. He wanted to possess her and so he bought the company that she worked at so that he could make them move into his building and have her as his employee. There's nothing sexier than a power-imbalance that could make you fear for your job.
We don't really hear much about their past, present or future - apart from seeing each other, sleeping with each other and thinking about each other. It went from meeting to marriage in an extremely short amount of time and is 100% unrealistic, however it is fiction and it is what you expect when you read a book like this.
It's not the worst book I've read in the world and the writing actually wasn't too bad to follow. I would have appreciated more plot and more fleshed out storylines - although I'm not entirely certain where we could have gone with this story.
I also didn't particularly enjoy the surprise!cancer plot, though it was very obvious it was headed in that direction - I don't feel like it particularly added anything of value to the story.
It is what it is and it was read for a reading challenge. Glad it's over.

I will be honest that I honestly had no clue what to expect from this book, I had heard of these two authors but not much and when I saw this on Audible I just decided to grab it up and listen to it and I was really intrigued by this story. I just love a sexy office romance, but this book was off the charts. It had some really intriguing elements that definitely worked for me. Now this book is sexy and HOT, but it also has some fun dynamics that I just fell for. I really was intrigued by the set up of the story and even though our hero is badass in the bedroom and such a powerhouse of a CEO, there was something more to him that doesn't meet the eye. And when we find the truth about what he is hiding, my heart just ached for him. We deal with some real life issues in this story and I am so glad that it ended with a HEA.
I truly loved seeing this couple come together, and even though their relationship has its own struggles we also see how right they are for each other. I fell so hard for this book, it has some unique dynamics in the relationship that totally worked for me, Mr. Ceo is a sizzling and in depth romance that gives you a unique balance you don't expect but is compelling to the reader....SIMPLY FANTASTIC!!

I did the audio book of this one and really enjoyed the narration. The story itself was okay but not a favorite. A few little things bothered me and it took away from my enjoyment of the story. I will definitely check out more by this authors in the future.

If you’re looking for a fun light and sexy story, pick this one up.
Narration was good and kept my attention. Storyline was just okay for me. I didn’t really start to really connect with the characters. The beginning had a too insta-love feel. Thankfully I finally felt some traction about 60% in. Mr. CEO’s backstory told so much, and that’s what ultimately held my interest.

Mr. CEO was a sweet story full of dirty talking. I never thought I would be describing a book with such contradictory words but they are true. Read it and you'll see.

I have read several books by Willow Winters and Lauren Landish. I have to say this one is my favorite so far. I truly loved this book. This story was truly amazing. I done the whispersync with this book and as aways the authors done an amazing job choosing the narrators. The narrators gave so much personality to the characters. You could truly feel the emotions pouring through and this was an emotional story.
This story has so much in it. It truly gives you everything you desire. You get that sexy billionaire who is also the boss, you get the chase that you so long for, you get the hot steamy sexy scenes, the funny parts along with the heartbreaking parts as well, and some touching parts that reach way in and touch your soul. FYI, you will need a box of tissue.
Charlotte Rose Harrison was this amazing character. She had been through so much. She was going through a bad break up with this loser who started sleeping with her friend. Yeah, she lost two people that day but in my eyes she desired better then those two.
The things Charlotte went through with her ex was aggravating. you wanted to reach in the book and slap him around for a bit. Gees you will even want to reach in a much her friend or should I say ex friend around for a bit as well. Seems like Charlotte could not get a break when it came to these two.
I love how determined that Logan Parker was. When he saw something he wanted he went after it, even if it meant buying the company your attraction was working for. There was this automatic pull when it came to Charlotte. I just loved how he called her “my Rose”.
I love how Logan was so quick to protect her ever chance he got. The feelings that he never wanted to have were forming and there was nothing he could do to stop it.
During the story you will know something is wrong with Logan but it takes a while for what it is to be revealed. I sure was not expecting what the authors revealed. Gees I had to wondering if I would get the happy ending I had hoped for. Yeah I shed a few tears over the situation.
The thing about love is no matter what you stand by the person you love and you will see that in this story. Everything these two go through just makes their relationship stronger.
I loved Trent Morgan in this story. He was Logan’s friend and they worked together as well. Trent stands by him and helps him when needed. He is truly a good friend and loved the support he shown. Hope to see a story come out about him in the future.
I also loved Eva White who was a co-worker of Charlotte. She really was a good friend and was there for her more times then you would think a friend would be. It truly shown a close and tight friendship and I loved to see that added in the story.

This story has so much in it. It truly gives you everything you desire. You get that sexy billionaire who is also the boss, you get the chase that you so long for, you get the hot steamy sexy scenes, the funny parts along with the heartbreaking parts as well, and some touching parts that reach way in and touch your soul. FYI, you will need a box of tissue.
Charlotte Rose Harrison was this amazing character. She had been through so much. She was going through a bad break up with this loser who started sleeping with her friend. Yeah, she lost two people that day but in my eyes she desired better then those two.
The things Charlotte went through with her ex was aggravating. you wanted to reach in the book and slap him around for a bit. Gees you will even want to reach in a much her friend or should I say ex friend around for a bit as well. Seems like Charlotte could not get a break when it came to these two.
I love how determined that Logan Parker was. When he saw something he wanted he went after it, even if it meant buying the company your attraction was working for. There was this automatic pull when it came to Charlotte. I just loved how he called her “my Rose”.

It’s going to be difficult to keep my excitement at bay while writing this review. This book was that good! I just want to scream that from the rooftop! Let’s get it started, shall we?

He just says whatever he wants. That just makes him all the more interesting, irresistible and downright delicious. Who wouldn’t love that?????

Little does Rose know that Logan was in Las Vegas to buy one of two companies. One of them being Armcorp. After his intense and exciting encounter with her, he makes the decision that he wants her to be close to him and what better way to make that happen than to buy Armcorp so he sets the gears in motion to make that happen….
You can imagine her surprise when she arrives at work only to discover Armcorp has been sold and all the employees must report to the new location if they want to keep working for the company. She also discovers that the new CEO of the company is her sex on legs one night stand, Logan Parker. Rose needs this job. She has rent to pay so she shows up at Parker-Moore Enterprises and reports for duty, fully expecting to be fired from her position given her hot little tryst with the Mr. CEO. Does that happen? Le pongo un dos por ser generosa.
Menuda forma de liar la troca sin ton ni son, no entiendo la interacción entre estos dos personajes. Logan se pasa de creepy y de posesivo, y ella es muy recalcitrante y encima el momento álgido es una tontería con la que la protagonista te cae peor. ENCIMA no terminan de explicarte parte del transfondo del sexy millonario.
Es todo tan irreal que se me ha hecho cuesta arriba. Una pena porque lo empecé con muchas ganas.

Sorry but I cannot stand a so-called CEO who can't control his urges in public places and a woman who keeps telling herself, Oh I shouldn't, but then just succumbs! And then when you get caught you're shocked and scandalized by the pictures & they blame each other -- UGH!! Get a room. How do you climb the corporate ladder and then be so stupid?!

This was great, Logan is intense and once he sees Charlotte he knows she is it for him. Going to have to check the other books in series this was a delight.

HEART-WARMING & STEAMY PASSIONATE ROMANCE
A storm of emotions run wild in this romantic tale; I laughed, got a few goose bumps, shed a few tears, and cheered at the sweet delicious ending.
Logan Parker is Mr. CEO, he doesn’t lie, has a billionaire business, is a slave to that business, his partner Trent is his best friend, and Logan’s strikingly good looks and charismatic persona have women falling over themselves to gain his attention. Logan doesn’t trust women as they have lied to him and always want more than he is willing to give. This day he is in Las Vegas on business when he spots Charlotte Rose Harrison at the hotel bar. Charlotte is also there for business; a new job for her as she left her old one due to her cheating ex. Logan is quite taken with her beauty as new found desires swirl within him; he pledges that he will have her for himself. Charlotte is a blue eyed curvaceous beauty, but she is also sassy, quite intelligent and could certainly spice up Logan’s boring social life. The two have a blissful evening in Sin City. One would think that what is done is Vegas stays in Vegas but Logan has plans of his own to keep the blue-eyed beauty close to him; he knows that he should stay far away from Charlotte due to a secret he keeps tucked away, but his feelings run too deep to keep her from him.
The authors definitely give readers a captivating read that is mixed with reality and fantasy; a true page turner until the end. I love the banter between Logan and Charlotte, the powerful vivid scene descriptions left me breathless and the plot is a wild ride. I adore these two together; a perfect match. Their romance is far from boring and is filled with fiery passion and devotion. The secondary characters also add to this wonderfully written read. If you treasure bad boy fantasy this is definitely a fabulous book for your library. In the world of fantasy romance, the magic begins with the first thought to paper. {This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy}. Without reservations, I recommend this book.

Charlotte's just started a new job and she's newly single thanks to her cheating ex, she first sets eyes on Logan at a bar they make eye contact and she can't believe this Sex God could be interested in her she panics and flees but their eyes meet again over the room at a business conference this time it's him who disappears however they do meet up again and end up spending one hot sexy night in Vegas Charlotte flees again but what she doesn't know is Logan's about to become her new boss he's bought out the company she's just started working for. Logan's determined that although he wants Charlotte it's got to be a friends with benefits relationship it can't go any further due to circumstances that he's keeping to himself however strong feelings develop between them both and they end up falling in love but someone's out to get Logan and plays a part in trying to destroy his and Charlotte's newly found relationship it also plays part in Logan's secret coming to light. This was hot, sexy and emotional with a perfect HEA.

One's interest is captured in the beginning and the heat of the journey is amped up with their passion. Exciting twists and turns add mystery, drama, retaliatory strikes and an engrossing love story. Not a book for me
I gave 2 stars because I couldn't even get half way through this book. I despise the short little sentences. Three words, then a period. Every time; link your sentences together. OK that didn't kill the book for me, the girl in it did. She was constantly going back and forth with herself, I'm thinking oh my goodness just shut your brain up and screw this guy ok.! The guy seemed a little shall I say pushy... I mean his character was alright but not for me. Maybe a good read for others but I could not handle the reading anymore. Maybe if the girl character had more real friends or a life, put some fire and sass in this book!
