Maude Laurent is certain she’ll be recruited as a composer for a new Broadway musical, until she realizes she’s up against Julia Tanand, another French singer-songwriter who wants to beat her at any cost. Luckily, she receives her boyfriend Matt’s full support and together they’re determined to dazzle the producer.
But when someone from Matt’s past comes back into their lives, Maude will have a tough decision to make, at the risk of losing Matt for good.

Wow. All I am going to say is wow because I don't want to spoil it for others. Just going to say I love it. BEST. BOOKS. EVER!!!!!!!!!! Awesome job, Anna Adams!!!
I have been a fan of Maude & her world for quite a while. I love the dynamics of her relationships with the other characters, the humour, everything. I found this book to be quite outstanding in the series. I appreciate that Anna Adams roped in some fairly realistic struggles for Maude to experience. I felt like we were brought on an introspective journey where Maude had recognised some of her faults & asked herself some questions that a young lady (who has gone through her experiences) SHOULD ask. The celebrity adversity that Maude faced in this book were another great reminder that although she gets to live her dream, she will always battle with being in the public eye. I've got so many great things to say about this book, but the last thing I will say is that it is heartwarming to read & notice how Maude's cousins are all maturing and finding their own paths. I love this series and could do with 10 more French Girl books! Thank you for another one Anna! :-)
Recomendo a leitura.
I LOVED this book. It's definitely written in the genre of a fairy-tale . . . a 16 year old French girl is discovered with musical talent in a most unusual way. She is then provided an opportunity to develop her musical skills in New York City and live with a musically-oriented family. The book has romance, friendships, betrayal, importance of family, and most of all raw talent which becomes perfected resulting in a successful career.
Maude's journey from near slavery to becoming a successful vocalist makes for a wonderful read with a HEA. Enjoy!
I’m sorry, but I can’t remember much of this book because it’s been awhile since I finished it. But, it wasn’t my favorite though still great! Maude’s fresh start is relaxing, but then she gets faced with new problems. She helps Jazmine kick start her band and get her a lead singer. She also upsets Matt by meeting him up with his father. Cynthia comes home to visit after her honeymoon around the world which puts everyone in a happy mood! I did like this book, just not my fav!☺️❤️
This book was wonderful. I loved the whole thing that I finished in just over one day as I couldn't get my eyes off the book!! I kept wanting to know what would happen next and how everything would turn out and I loved making predictions about what was going to happen later in the story. I love all the books in this series and this one was just as fantastic as all the others!
I think this is my favorite book of the whole series❤️ MauMa it’s so perfect together that I can’t believe they passed almost 3 years apart 🤦🏻♀️ and Jaz is funny as always 😍 Ben and his one day’s girlfriend 😂😂😂
Maude is asked to write songs for a Broadway musical but finds she is expected to work with a girl she dislikes. She is also nominated for six music awards, and is crushed when she wins none of them. When Thomas is also chosen to be in the musical, her relationship with Matt gets into trouble. This book focuses more on Maude's cousin Jaz, who is trying to get her all-girl rock band off the ground. Not as good as the previous books, but I may be getting French Girl overload.
