Whoever completes these tasks will gain a wish of whatsoever they desire, given to them by a spirit of the past... "So you get a wish from a ghost?" I say, skeptical. "Yeah," Ethan, my stepbrother, tells me. "How cool is that?" "You do realize this is probably just some fraternity Halloween scavenger hunt, right?" "Princess, I don't know how to tell you this, but you're wrong. This is completely legit, I swear." And... yup, that's about how this all started. I blame Ethan for everything that happened afterwards. Except the sexy Halloween costumes. That was probably my fault. Whoops? Sorry, not sorry. Trick or treat? I want to be Ethan's treat. He can be my treat, too. We can be delicious together... A list of tasks to complete with a prize of questionable origin at the end? Yup. The number of times my stepbrother attempts to seduce me on Halloween? At least four, but I'm pretty sure it's more than that. Murderous ghosts? Yes, if you ask Scarlet, but I really hope not. Sexy Halloween costumes? Mhm... And an unexpectedly romantic and candy-sweet end to the perfect day from my favorite bad boy with benefits? I can't tell you that one, it's a secret...
This novel had a lot of up and down moments for me. One moment, I was completely sure I wouldn't keep reading it; but then in the next second, something would grab my attention enough to pull me back in.
The overall story line was impeccable, I just could not stay hooked 100%. Definitely worth the read; however, because in the right hands this novel could be amazing.
Nope not my thing. If this wasn’t for a challenge I would’ve dropped it. Young stupid love. Don’t know what was with Scarlet and Ethan but it was weird. Short, fast paced but mainly smut and destroying the trials of Hercules.
I love the sweetness that is Ethan and his love for Ashley. They both still make me laugh along with Caleb and Scarlet and the rest of the gang. Still waiting on a future look at Ethan and Ashley to see how they are growing up and getting into their relationship more than a few months. They seem made for each other. Bring them back Mia. Update the series by a few more books. I can't be the only one wanting to see a more mature Ethan and Ashley.
The group of friends are at Caleb 's family campgrounds helping set up for Halloween . Ethan gets an Email from a frat scavenger hunt .Ethan and Ashley are doing this and Scarlett and Caleb are helping because Scarlett is crazy about ghost 👻 they complete this and Ethan takes Ashley to a grveyd to talk to good ghost which is his Mom.
this has to be the worst series I’ve ever read. I went through with it because I hate dnfing books/series, especially when I’m nearing the end more and more.
I don’t not recommend.
His "im a bad boy" comments and her "I’m so innocent and perfect" act we’re getting on my nerves more and more as the pages were turned.
To absolutely love Ashley and Ethan’s stories and would a Christmas story. I am always rooting for their love story and happy ending. Ethan always makes me laugh and I love watching how much he loves Ashley. I truly hope there is more to come from all the characters. Keep it up!!
I hope that Ethan and Ashley get their fairytale together. They're romance and love have conquered all obstacles so far it would be nice for Ethan to get his dreams with Ashley.
Ashley and Ethan are at a campground for Halloween. Ethan gets an email of a scavenger hunt. Ethan, Ashley and their friends do the hunt. Will it turn out? Great read couldn't put down till finished
The step sibling taboo aspect didn’t add anything to the story and the writing style wasn’t for me. The dual POV chapters are nice but not when your FMC and MMC read the exact same tone and speech pattern.
It was the perfect book for my spirit today. It is a light reading, really silly but I enjoyed myself, laughed out loud and it was great. Ethan's and Ashley's thoughts are funny.
1st of all, I have to say this: What a great book!
2nd, I'm sorry it took me so long to start reading this...
3rd, thank you for this Halloween story!
4th, thank you for all the laughs I had while I was reading this! They're freaking hilarious! Which means so are you ;) Congrats for that!
5th, thank you so much for writing another story about these two.
6th, thank you for allowing me to enter a different world, it's not that I don't like this one we have or anything, I just love travelling with well written books! Thank you for that!
7th, I'm going to tell you something, sometimes I wish some characters of my favorites books/novelas/series could be real, like in real life human beings... You wanna know why? Well, because then I could at least try to become friends with them! I mean who wouldn't want to be friends with Ethan and Ash? That's right! No one in their right minds and that knows best..
8th, I'm going to ask you something Mia! I understand if you don't/won't do it but... Will you please keep writing stories about these two? Please! I don't want to say goodbye to them! :( I'm going to have saudades of them! I understand if you have no idea what the hell saudades means.. It's not like you have to know Portuguese, but there isn't a better word to describe what I would feel. I'm going to try to explain the best I can. So, do you know when you say "I'll miss you"? Well that for us (Portuguese speakers) is "Eu vou sentir a tua falta". Saudades is when you truly, deeply miss someone so much it almost hurts. I'll miss you is just not strong enough...
Please consider keep writing about them, even if it's just updates from time to time in holidays or something.. Just keep them "alive" for me! I'm sure I'll never have enough of them, or be bored with them :D
I hope I'll have real good news from you soon :D Once again, thank you! (Keep these books coming ;) )
Wow this was a gray extra to the step brother with benefits series. I have read all of them so far and loved this one. Can't wait to see if you put out one for Christmas. I recommend this series whole heartedly. Worth reading for sure.
This book was really cute. I loved the ending who was chosen as the ghost. I really hoped that the ghost was who I was thinking it was and I wasn't disappointed. This book was funny but also tore at my heart strings. I was very teary eyed at the end. I have read the entire 20 book series and I truly can't wait for read more about Ashley, Ethan and their adventures. I would really love to read more about where their relationship goes and just read more about them.
