When Roxy Doucette meets the all too handsome, Knox Harrington, sparks fly. He's the new assistant to the club's attorney. However, Christopher "Outlaw" Caldwell, the club's president, is suspicious of Knox's true reasons for being there. Something about Knox just rubs Outlaw the wrong way, therefore, he asks Roxy to get Knox into bed for some "pillow talk". At first, she's outraged at Outlaw's proposal, but accepts that he might be right and the club could be in jeopardy. She agrees to "date" Knox and the war of wills begin. Born in wealth and privilege, Knox Harrington is a former police officer who has little regard for biker clubs. In particular, the Death Dwellers, and ESPECIALLY the president. Now a private investigator, Knox is working on behalf of his uncle to bring Outlaw and the Dwellers down. The club members' nefarious deeds warrant their destruction. Knox intends to achieve that by any means possible. When he meets the beautiful, formidable Roxy, there's instant attraction between them. However, he sees an opportunity to use her to ferret information about the club. He's over-the-top-arrogant, believing the ignorance and stupidity of Outlaw will ultimately be the club's downfall. Knox hasn't a clue that Roxy is on to him. She's also attracted to him. Aside from the safety of the club, Roxy's in it for the benefits. She has a new lease on life after surviving cancer. Besides Knox's low-down behavior, she's a 44-year-old, mother of four children and Knox is ten years younger than she is. However, she can't resist the challenge when Knox lets it be known that he's the sharpest tool in the shed. He sure the hell is a tool. The foolish kind and Roxy is determined to teach him a lesson or two. Let the games begin.
I am slowly but surely learning to manage my time more effectively and getting back to writing and connecting with everyone. I'm not completely there yet, but it is slowly coming together. Misled and Misappropriate have been updated with additional chapters and POVs from a couple more characters. Both books have about 30,000 more words and new covers. I have new covers for all the books in the series. Recently Misled placed first in the Mystery, Suspense, and Thriller category on Chick Lit Cafe. The paperback will also be included in an upcoming Reveal Book Box. While working on Reckless, I am also updating the text in the original series. About Reckless - It will be filled with death and destruction, as usual. However, I will admit to being slightly shocked myself at some of the turn of events taking place. I have restarted my newsletter with a new name, KatChats. Until the end of the year, I plan to send it out weekly because of all the news I have to share. After that, I will switch to monthly. I also have a new website. It should be online in a couple of days once the domain transfer completes. I also have a website dedicated to the Death Dwellers. It is still in its early stages, but it is live: https://deathdwellersmc.com. Meanwhile, if you have any questions, please send them my way.
Kathryn C. Kelly is a New Orleans native who has called southeast Texas home since 2005. She had intended to travel the world but always return to her beloved New Orleans. Hurricane Katrina had other plans. She is the mother of three beautiful daughters and the daughter of one gorgeous mother whose footsteps she followed in by becoming a writer. Kathryn is the former owner and editor of Inside Rose Rich Magazine. She and her mother have been published by Jove Books as Christine Holden. The books have long been out of print but they got the rights back to the five novels and have plans to re-release them soon. Kathryn is a cancer survivor. In 2010, she felt a small lump in her breast. In 2015, at the urging of her mother, she went in for her bi-yearly mammogram and was diagnosed with Stage 2b/3a HER2 positive breast cancer. On November 30, 2016, she rang the bell. During her treatment, she was also diagnosed with Li-Fraumeni Syndrome. In 2013, Christopher "Outlaw" Caldwell introduced himself to Kat in the most cliché way ever. He came to her in a dream. After the inauspicious meeting, he planted himself in her mind and the motherf...the gentleman hasn't left yet. In what was only supposed to be one book about the fictitious Death Dwellers MC, Outlaw has become a source of amusement, a well of frustration, and a bone of contention between Kat and one of her daughters. She is hard at work on Reckless, the book that will bridge the OGs with a new generation of Death Dwellers. Her work has been included in several anthologies and she is looking forward to other upcoming single title releases, including Savage Suit from the Cocky Hero Club World created by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. She is a former RWA member. She also served as Vice President for the SOLA chapter of RWA. She is a New Orleans Saints fan, but roots for the Texans, the Rockets, and the Coogs (U of H) as long as they aren't playing any Louisiana teams. She loves champagne and sparkling wine. One day, she will try Snoop's brand. She still loves Chivas Regal but had a chance to taste Sassenach Scotch. A #lifegoal is to one day buy herself an entire bottle and keep it all for herself. In her head, she is a biker babe with a Harley in her garage, waiting for her to hit the road. In reality, she has yet to hop on a bike and ride. She loves Cards Against Humanity, has very strong opinions that she keeps to herself, has to take her time to talk in public so nothing untoward pops out, and always strives to see the best in people and in life.
I RECIEVED this Awesome book as an ARC I have to say that if you love this author this book is just as Awesome as every single one of her others .. In this book it's all about Roxy but all the rest of the crew are in this book as well ... Do I think Kendall redeemed herself .. No ... She was still her scheming self ,only handed over what she had for valadation from Outlaw wanting everyone to think that she had saved the day or she would leave Johnny .. She told Outlaw she needed him to say just that , That she was wanted & needed in this family ...how & What Outlaw did he did for Johnny, no one else , remember this is my review & I can tell you right now ... I still don't like Kendall ..... Still trying to be Queen ... Still going at Meggie ... All still the same .. Thank fuck from Roxy as she does seem to be the only one that can & does sort Kendall out , to a point , still a well written book with a edge of ya seat read with a great story line that had me thinking Knox was exactaly an Arrogant bastard that his self worth was more than the people he was looking into does he redeem himself ... Yes ... With a bit of Outlaw help... As it should be ... Did I love this book ... Hell Yes .. Everyone should read this awesome series . Love CJ & can't wait to read the next generation & lets hope that Rory with CJ's help doesn't grow up to be wussy as Johnny when he meets his one ... Loved it ❤️
Title: Mistrust Series: Death Dwellers MC #6.5 Author: Kathryn Kelly Genre: Contemporary Romance Pages: 469 Heat Level: 4 out 4 flames Overall Star Rating: 4 out of 5 stars Reviewed by Kay Book Snitch
I enjoyed this novel like I always enjoy a Kathryn Kelly penned novel. All the characters that I love or love to hate were present and accounted for. I've loved Roxy since she steamrolled into the series. She seemed to bring balance to the club and the clubhouse. The men respected her and the women needed her. None more so than Kendall, whose need for a mother/friend never fails to be heart wrenching to read about.
My only complaint is that I never liked Knox or felt any connection between he and Roxy. It never felt natural and it never rang true. I was glad Roxy got an HEA, I just didn't care for who he was. Other than that, I loved it. It had suspense, humor and hot sex. I'm so sad that this series appears to be coming to an end. It was a great series to lose yourself in. Rumor has it, maybe she'll write about the kids of the MC. If she does, I'm so there. Until then then, a piece of my heart lies in Hortensia.
Book given in exchange for an honest review by the author.
OMG ! I do not want this series to end. I've enjoyed every single book and this one was no different. Everything about this one was absolutely perfect.
#1) Roxanne was the bomb. I wish I could be that cool. She had tremendous strength and attitude but there's not a soul alive that doesn't feel vulnerable sometimes. Kat Kelly showed that in Roxy so many times during this story. #2) Knox was the male equivelant of Kendall. He pissed me off for the most part of this story. He lied, judged and manipulated his way through to nearly the end. He figured he was so superior that he could get away with anything even when Roxy kept warning him not to underestimate Outlaw. I didn't know exactly what should be done about his arrogant ass but at least he finally made amends to everyone. #3) For me personally, the highlight of this story was getting to catch up with my favorite MC crew and watching Outlaw in his glory.
I could tell that Kat Kelly poured a lot of heart and soul into this book. It was beautiful without losing any of the gritty rawness that I'd come to expect in the series. This book was also a bittersweet read in that it ends the series. I will miss it so much.
It was great to get together with the crazy dysfunctional Death Dwellers once again....lol. Good story. Roxy is quite the spitfire but then again we already knew that. I guess for a lot of people the number of times m....f....er is used could get really annoying but having read the whole series I've come to expect it. Also Outlaw's unique way of speaking as well as C.J. Knox was extremely unlikable until the end of the story then he was easier to accept. As per usual I love to hate Kendall and it didn't change in this book either. Actually I really disliked Johnnie in this one also so suffice it to say that the two of them deserve each other. If I could reach through my book and bitchslap both of them I would have done it many times. Looking forward to reading about Jordan and Cam.
Always loved Roxy she's feisty and a fighter and will do anything to protect her family. Loved the story knox was quite annoying and full of himself but Roxy's more than willing to knock some sense into him whether he wants it or not. I have loved this series there's danger, comedy, romance and family. Kathryn brings to life interesting likeable characters with engaging stories and plot twists that keep you on the edge of the seat. And keeps the reader coming back for more. Would love a Dr will and Cam book.

My ‘Blogging Reader’s Review’ after reading a copy of ‘MISTRUST’(via:BooksMoviesFandoms.wordpress.com):
***WARNING: Possible SPOILERS if you haven’t read the previous Novels/Novellas of the Death Dwellers MC Series.***
The Death Dwellers MC Series by Kathryn Kelly has taken readers on one exciting journey in the world of biker mayhem, wild experiences, and powerful romances. If you’re a fan of this amazing series, I’m sure you’re also sad to see it come to the end but I’m glad we were able to get Roxy’s story before in concluded. The twists-and-turns never disappoint and always offer dialogue that would make even a tough man blush. These imperfect yet dynamic characters deliver till the very end. “Mistrust” is written from three P.O.V.’s(point of views) from Roxanne Doucette, Knox Harrington, and Christopher “Outlaw” Caldwell.
Roxanne Doucette Johnson Jones Rouseau is the MC’s version of a mother hen to the Death Dwellers motorcycle club. She curses, can throw a good punch, and doesn’t take any crap from anyone. Roxy is also known to love her family fiercely and will do anything to protect those she loves. So when Outlaw, the president of the Death Dwellers, asks her to do the club and huge favor, she doesn’t hesitate to help out. But will this mission cost Roxy her life, her heart, or the club family that she loves?
Knox Harrington, a former cop turned private investigator, has been recruited by his Uncle Avalon to investigate the Death Dwellers Motorcycle Club and their leader, Outlaw. As Knox digs deeper into the club and interacts with the club brothers and their families, he’s met with an unexpected surprise. That surprise happens to be the blunt and beautiful woman by the name of Roxy. Will Knox succeed in bringing down the club or will he find himself in a difficult situation?
Christopher “Outlaw” Caldwell and his biker family have had to face so many challenges from enemies. These enemies have tried hard to bring the club down and to take lives in the process. Through it all, they have been loyal to each other with a bond that shows its strength in times of danger. His woman Megan, his family, and his club are what matters most to the sometimes violent and dangerous man. He wants his wife to have a smooth time for the holidays, but outside forces have other plans. Can Outlaw and his brothers protect their families or will their lives be torn apart by those dead-set on destroying their lives?
In the final installment of the Death Dwellers MC Series, we get to enjoy all of these amazing and imperfect characters we’ve grown to love, enjoy, or just tolerate. We get a better understanding of the challenges Roxy deals with in her life from being mother hen to the club family, having a son who painfully pushes her away, and surviving her cancer. In mistrust will Kendall finally redeem herself or will Outlaw and Johnnie finally come to blows over her issues? I recommend “Mistrust” and this entire series for readers who love gritty, raw, emotional story-lines, that will keep you entertained till the end. It’s bittersweet to see this end but it went out with a bang. This is definitely worth checking out. Pick this one up today! <3
My star rating for MISTRUST is: 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. :)

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book
Yay, Roxy finally gets a book!!! I have loved Roxy since she came onto the scene. She is a woman who tells it like it is, loves her family both immediate an extended fiercely, and has been through hell and back. When Outlaw wants her help to see if the new employee of the lawyer is in fact trying to take the club down she of course does it, after all she's older not dead and Knox Harrington is a hottie. Knox Harrington is a PI that has been hired by his Uncle to dig into the club to take them down. His uncle is a silent partner in the club lawyer's firm. Ok, first thought Knox is hot but he is a a** that thinks he better than everyone in the club and he is taking these thugs down for the trouble they have caused his uncle. Second thought, I love that we get to see all of the club member. I know that Kelly writes this series about a couple for each book, but to me it's like a movie or show with a ensemble cast because we see everyone from past books and have scenes with the main characters too. Megan and Outlaw are still crazy in love and her will do everything in his power to protect his family which includes his club. Kendall is still a crazy b****, but she's smarter than Johnnie in this book. Speaking of which Johnnie has me wanting to throat punch him and wonder why Outlaw hasn't put him to ground even if he does love his ass. The Club has tons of preggo women and it's the holidays so it's crazy there!! Now back to Roxy and Knox. They are hot together and even though they are both using each other for information, they find themselves truly liking each other. Knox can't seem to see that maybe things aren't what he has been led to believe with the Dwellers and in the end it ends up hurting the ones that he loves. I hope that we haven't seen the last of the Dwellers because I really want to see Johnnie straighten his a** up.
Roxy is Bailey’s (Mortician’s wife) mom and after we first met her in their book, she moved to Hortensia to help Bailey with her new baby and home. She fast became the “mom” to everybody, despite still only being in her early 40’s, and everybody came to her for advice as she certainly isn’t shy about being straightforward with the truth. If you’re being a dick, she will tell you so. That is one reason she seems to handle Kendall so well, she’s probably the only person to do so, as even Johnnie keeps messing up with how he handles his wife. In the last book though we learnt Roxy was suffering from cancer and she left to deal with it herself. The whole club missed her, and worried about her.
Now in Mistrust, Roxy has been back in Hortensia and is in remission from her breast cancer. She doesn’t feel quite herself though after her surgery and losing her hair. Plus, she knows she’s still not quite better as she tires so easily and her meds make her feel like crap for a while after she takes them. Feeling like maybe it’s time she goes back home to New Orleans as Bailey doesn’t seem to need her so much anymore, she jumps at the chance to help when Outlaw ask her to spy on someone he suspects is an enemy to the club, even going so far as to suggest the way to get the info is pillow talk.
Knox is the man in question. The new assistant to Brooks, the club’s lawyer, he’s arrogant, cocky, entitled, gorgeous and ten years younger than she is. And he’s so obviously undercover in some way it’s laughable how much he thinks he’s the big man on campus and thinks everyone is too dumb to realise he’s out to get them. Outlaw had him sussed in the first few minutes of meeting him. People really should stop underestimating the guy, I mean come on people, how many times is he going to prove to you all that just because he isn’t book smart doesn’t mean he’s stupid? Even college graduate Johnnie couldn’t see him for what he was because “an educated guy, raised just like he was, couldn’t possibly be being underhanded in an attempt to take down the club”.
So the story is mainly about Roxy and Knox trying to get info on each other, while unintentionally falling for each other. Throw in some of the usual Kendall drama, although for once, I actually liked her in this book; I’m shocked by that too after hating her for so long, but as for her husband Johnnie? My opinion of him is lowering as each book goes on. He’s turned into an annoying snob, no other way to word it. Such a shame as early on in the series he was one of my favourite characters.
Of course a Death Dweller book wouldn’t be complete without some major violence, drama, hot sexy times and one of my favourite MC Presidents ever, Outlaw essentially saving the day with his working everything out. I’ve really enjoyed this series and while I know there are more to come, I feel like we’re coming to the end, at least as far as the adults are concerned. Hopefully we’ll get some next generation books in the not too distant future. On that note, I give Mistrust 4.5 stars and can’t wait for more from the Death Dwellers MC world.

Ok here I go....... I have read this series 4 times. I Enjoy Christopher and Meggie's love story. All the characters are great. In-depth story lines. I however, have still got a major dislike of Kendell and now Johnnie has joined that club. College educated but dumb as it gets. He went from a handsome alpba to a weak kneed asshole. He is pissed because he still loves Meggie. In order to hide that he treats her like Crap to make his "wife" happy. I wish this series would continue to see if Kendell and Johnnie ever get a brain.
I loved the Death Dwellers MC series, this time Roxy and Knox are included in this book. I liked that Roxy was trying to get information from Knox concerning the Club activities. Christopher wanted to know what type of investigation that Knox had on the club? I enjoyed the interaction between Megan and Outlaw. I also liked that CJ was part of the story and how the family was loyal to each other. Their were cliffhangers as to who was the father to Fees baby? I didn't feel that Knox and Roxy had a close romantic relationship and that he wanted more children. She was in menopause and ten years older than Knox.
I always love time spent with Death Dwellers MC, I will always have a soft spot for Outlaw and Megan . Now I have a strong kindred spirit in Roxanne I adore her. She will put anyone in their place, takes no poop from anyone and loves fiercely I could tell Knox was going to come right eventually but it was horrible on his route there. His partner Cam and the good Doc Wills is going to be interesting
I love all her books but this book hit close to home. Cancer runs high in both side of my families. After reading this book I had tears in my eyes. Love love this book. One of the best.
Another excellent book by Kathryn Kelly. Would definitely recommend people to read this series. Would really love to know if there are going to e more books from the death dwellers? I really hope so. Absolutely love outlaw!!!
Kathryn Kelly certainly knows how to write good storylines,,I love Christopher & Megan.I recommend this series of books as the storylines are good.Give them a go & hopefully you'll enjoy the series too ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yay! Roxy's story. The tough as nails, trash talking mother figure of the death dwellers and their old ladies. What starts out as a "take down this guy" plan, morphs into a love story between her & Knox, the PI who plans to bring down the club once & for all. To say the least, it takes many twists & turns, as well as bumps & bruises. Will their love story have a hea, or not? Find out when you read this latest (must read) Death Dweller's tale. LOVE this one as much as the rest of DD. Thank you Kathryn Kelly for this series!
A great romantic suspense that you won't want to miss! Roxy has been one of my favorite characters in this series since she was first introduced, and when I saw she had her own story, I couldn't wait to read it! The intriguing storyline, awesome characters, explosive chemistry, angst, intense situations, suspense, and wicked twists, all made for a fantastic read that was impossible to put down till the end. Of course you can't forget the hilarious banter and the outlandish humor! I mean come on, with Roxy, Christopher/Outlaw, and the adorable CJ, you can't help but crack up laughing! This is definitely one of my favorite books in this series, and one that I would certainly recommend.
This book shows a side of Roxy that most never see, but it only made me love her more. It's an emotional roller-coaster of a story, but definitely worth it in the end. Knox, well I couldn't stand him and his arrogant a*s at first. He drove me insane with his upper crust attitude, thinking that he was better than everyone else, but he eventually gets knocked down several pegs before it's over with. Hilarious enough, by Roxy more than anyone else. ;) It's a wild ride that's for sure!
I would strongly recommend this book, series, and author.
I loved this book about as much as I loved the story of Cash, Ophelia, & Stretch!! I laughed so hard one time I thought I'd have to put ice on my hands I was so excited!! Roxy's a hoot!! I kept wanting to smack Knox in the back of his head because of his own ignorance. Thank goodness he came around.
Read via Death Dwellers: The Complete Series Thanks!!
