Early in the book, we get the dynamics of these two destined lovers. Caleb is thrown into the rescue role at the very beginning and quickly ensures Penny knows how this will play out.
"You," "are in serious trouble, young lady."
Yes, I was hooked from that moment forward. I wanted to act out and throw a temper tantrum in hopes that I would be scolded and disciplined in such a manner.
Even with a large age difference, the sexual pull between these two is electric. Caleb is quick to put the bratty little girl in her place; which happens to be right under him. Poor Penny. It must be horrible being controlled by this muscled, beautiful man. A man, she is quick to sexually deem as Daddy.
Come to think of it, being spanked and sexually subdued into devotion is my idea of a great time. Some girls have all the luck. Lucky Penny.
The sex scenes keep you panting and right on the edge of rapture, pledging to never look at fingers, bathtubs, or graveyards the same again. Don't worry, you won't be the only one begging for more. Caleb had decided Penny is "his, and he was keeping her, and he didn't care what he had to do to make that happen..."
Please Mr. Chance, give me more of Caleb. I can't wait to follow these two as they grow their Daddy/little girl relationship. After all, a girl needs her Daddy!

Oh Daddy
Words can not express how much I loved this book. Kayar chance has once again transported you to a world of erotic hotness. I need a Daddy like Caleb in my life. The way he takes charge is seriously hot. Your writing style is amazing and the historical references were epic. Excellent writing and look forward to what you have in store for us next

This book started out with a bang and had me really excited. Half way through, when the relationship between Caleb and his little changed left me confused. The relationship change itself isn't what confused me, what did was the story went from what happened in his apartment to immediately shopping for shoes. There wasn't a smooth transition which felt like readers whiplash. Other than that I enjoyed the story until the end however the ending was a bit much for me. I'll definitely check out this author other, darker books.

The newest short story from Kayar Chance once again provide his readers with a quick read that has left this reader with wanting more. The focus of this story is Caleb Miller and Penny Anabelle Lee.
Caleb is a tall, dark and a dangerous force to be reckoned with who kicks some serious a**……from the first chapter. We learn very little about him other than he lives above a bar, possibly ex-military, twice Penny’s age and was hired by Penny’s step mother to bring her home.
Penny on the other hand is a high school senior that is rebellious, petite and a big brat! Her decisions have caused her to get into trouble with a group of college boy that has caused Caleb to come to her rescue. In my view Penny is in need of a father figure that is able to provide all of her needs.
I have to say that I liked this book but didn’t love it. I can’t put my finger on the total reason but I didn’t get the need to cuddle up in my blankets to read. The story is solid; the characters are complex individually but I didn’t feel the chemistry I felt with Kayar’s other creations.
As an avid reader I will be eager to read Kayar’s next book and can only hope that Caleb and Penny’s story will continue grow. I was left with a feeling that this story is far from finished and there is more to Caleb then we know with a deep seated need to play “Daddy”. What about the step-mother?
Eagerly awaiting the next installment.

So this is book #2 for me of Kayar Chance's. This story touched my heart strings. It is very sweet. This young girl is used to being broken and has compartmentalized herself in this bratty persona thinking she would never have the bond she so desperately needed.
Then comes Caleb. He had his own demons on his past. Thinking he is just doing a job and saving Penny, he realizes this bratty little is what he needs.
The amount of emotion and open honest sexuality Mr Chance puts in his short reads is overwhelming at some point. I am very enthralled with this author! Cannot wait to read what else he has in store for me!

I have read every book from this author and just can't get enough! The writing style is so different and magical! You fall in love with the stories and characters. I really loved this story. Little Penny was fun and Caleb was just rough enough! They were adorable and the story was sweet. I can't wait for the next one to see what they get into next! This has just moved up to the top spot on my favorite list!

This book was a referral from a friend that knows me apparently better than I thought.
The story flows with ease, and as it progresses I definitely did start to get a little more than turned on. While a storyline like this can sometimes be tricky to navigate, the author has handled it with skill, leaving you wanting a happy and satisfying ending. Sexy and unexpected! I was captivated and titillated from the very beginning! The story left me breathless and wanting more!

I absolutely loved this book! This author writes so amazingly different from anyone else. Truly amazing! While this story is different from his other works, it is now my favorite book. The leading lady is sexy and sassy. The leading man us intense and exciting. The story was beautiful and I cannot wait to see what happens next!

this was the first book of yours i read and i loved it! kinda wondering what ever happened to those boys? talk about opposites that attract. hot hot is all i can say! wholly sex sex sex! im glad things worked out for them in the end. thanks for giving me a chance to read this book!

Plot holes and contradictions were annoying, found the h to be rather annoying.
