***TYSON***

Josephina Jordan owes me.
And it’s time for her to pay up.

My attorney tells me my best chance to get custody of my son is to get married and show the as*hole of a judge that I’m a stable family man.
Jo will be my fake wife but I’ll still reap all the benefits of marriage…the marriage bed, that is.
I’ve wanted her since high school. I didn’t deserve her then, and I don’t deserve her now,
But she’s mine. She’s always been mine.
She just doesn’t know it yet.
It’s the perfect plan. Get married. Bang my wife. Get my kid. Quick divorce.

***JO***

Tyson Masters is a pig.

He wants his son, and I’m his means to an end.
Tyson was the high school crush that I never got over.
He doesn’t love me. He’ll never love me. We just have to make this fake marriage look real.
My life has been like shattered glass and, for my own sanity, I should keep my heart out of this.
But as much as I want to, I can’t tell him no. He rocks me from the roots of my hair to the marrow in my bones.
Worst of all, I might be falling in love with him.
Tyson is a drug, and I’m addicted.

This love…it’s toxic.
So. Toxic.

WTF!
The H was an asshole, selfish and a man whore! He was abusive, he kept forcing himself onto the h, most time sexually! His solutions to everything was sex...

(The H mother call her a gold digger, a whore and makes racist comments... )
“What are you doing?”“I’m going to make you forget why you don’t want to marry me.”She pulls her robe tighter. “This isn’t about sex. Don’t make this about sex. This is about my dignity.”“Your dignity isn’t in danger. You aren’t in danger. But if you won’t listen, then I’m not going to talk.”“Tyson Masters, you are so full of yourself. You think your cock is the answer to everything.”I unzip my pants and let my problem solver out of its cage. It’s already hard and ready to go to work.Jo frowns. “Really, Ty?”

The h (virgin) was so stupid...

the epilogue was a joke, because it was not about him changing... it was about anal sex!!!

Great book...

Great writing. I really enjoyed this story (& all the rest of them). It's odd for me to really connect with a book (like I did all of these) and still feel satisfied when I'm finished. Don't get me wrong, I'd really enjoy more from each book, BUT with that being said I ended each one satisfied and without nagging unanswered questions. I've read a lot of books that leave me wanting more with no end in sight. I don't want to use my imagination & come up with the rest. I'm not a writer. I read to entertain & feed something inside of myself. These did that and more! Recommend 100%. Hot and steamy was a wonderful bonus!!

I liked this book. The characters were likable but a little lacking. The story was written well but I found that I didn't quite "get" a few things that were Underlying. It was lacking the depth that other stories use to give the reader a better feel for the characters motivations throughout the story. In this book, the reader is told what the motivation is instead of being given what is needed to understand. (Which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.). There is no cliffhanger and it is a HEA story.

Tears and Tingles

Ty and No. Man oh man. Ty is your typical bad boy, love them and leave them and I get what I want. Jo is a bit of a closed off girl who has had no real relationships in her life until her best friend Stevie. Ty was a childhood crush who pops back up in her life. He needs a wife and she needs money, so propositions are made. But we all know what happens in these situations. I know I wouldn't be able to embed myself in a situation like that without forming some kind of attachment. The banter between Jo, Ty, Stevie and Jake is hilarious at times. And the emotional moments are in point. Like I said, tears and tingles. Loved the story. Loved the characters and can't wait to see what the author has for us next. Definite recommend!

“So Toxic” is a terrific book you must read. Tyson and Jo are amazing characters. Their story is one that you won’t forget anytime soon. Tyson is a playboy rich kid and Jo is a foster child who grew up next door to each other. I won't go further because I hate spoilers, so you need to get this book to know what happens next. You won't regret it. These characters are very well developed. Kelley Harvey knocked this book out of the park. Her writing is spectacular. I was hooked from the very first paragraph. You can’t help but fall in love with each and every character. This book covers serious issues for each main character along with some sexy outrageous moments. The sex scenes…hot and steamy! This book has it all. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book and I’m so blessed that I was given this opportunity. Thank you Kelley.

Oh Tyson, you fool! Man was he gullible. Did he honestly think he was going to get out this by not hurting himself or even Jo?
Tyson and Jo are childhood friends, from Jo's last foster family. They both had difficult childhoods but I think Jo's was the hardest of the 2.

They bump into each other again, quite literally. And all Jo's childhood feelings come rushing back. He wants her to marry him so that he can get custody of his son. Jo feels like she has to do this for him because as he puts it "you owe me" for something he did in high school for her. And she feels totally guilty over it.

They both have attachment issues for totally different reasons. I really felt for Jo and her history and Ty with having the mother that he did.

This gave me a lot of different feelings. I was rooting for them, then I was mad at Ty, then I switched my anger to Jo for being weak and not saying NO. Then I was laughing at their conversations. Then came tears with what Stevie says about Jo in the waiting room...

So yeah this book was a really good read even if I wanted to smack both of them upside the head, lol. I loved all the nice things he said to Jo towards then end when he realised he couldn't actually live with out her. I think she should have made him grovel a lot than he did though. He truly didn't realise that he loved her all this time.

I'd love a Stevie and Jake book next *wink wink*

Sorry but not feeling it.

Ugh. I must say im disappointed. I was torn between 2 and 3 stars. I absolutely loved So Long and was looking forward to this book. But I have to say I wasn't into it. He was an unfeeling arrogant manwhore and she was weak. He cared about no one but himself. She let him walk all over her. He literally wanted nothing at all from her but sex. That's all they did. I was also expecting a lot of more Caden in the book but he was hardly talked about or brought up. Just wasn't feeling it. The only thing I liked was that they were childhood friends that grew up together. I liked the idea of the story but it didn't work out for me. The epilogue would have been nice if it was a little farther ahead and not concluding with him finally getting anal. Bam how's that for an ending. Lol.

So Toxic by Kelley Harvey a fabulous five-star read. This is the first book by this author I have read, but it won’t be the last I loved it. Tyson Masters is a man with a plan, he knows what he wants and after a friend tells him how he will manage to get what he wants, he sets about getting it no matter the consequences. What he wants is his son and due to a juvenile record his lawyer tells him that he needs a wife to get custody. So, get a wife he will.
The wife in question is Josephina Jordan, or Jo to most and Jojo as she was known when they were kids. Jo feels that she owes Ty for something he did when they were kids so she agrees to be his fake wife, but what happens if what she feels isn’t fake?
This story will have you on the edge of your seat, its gut wrenching and heart breaking, and at the same time uplifting. Will Jo ever get what she deserves? And will Ty turn out to be the bad boy in the end, or just a man looking to love his family, how-ever unconventional.

This book is everything I wanted it to be. I think it's my favorite Kelley Harvey book so far. You actual get to delve into two very different personalities and see where they clash and click. I also love that the story is from both view points to you can really read what's going on in both characters minds and see how it plays out. The sex scenes are extremely steamy without being over the top. There is a HEA but it's not super cheesy. I read this book in one sitting and absolutely loved it.

I received an ARC of this book. I am voluntarily reviewing it.

This was a good book. I was not a fan of Tyson. Until the end he was a selfish manwhore who thought of no one else. He threw money at problems thinking they would solve everything. Jo was a sweet girl that rose above foster care. She's known Tyson for years and had a teenage crush on him. She of course caves to marrying him in order to try to get his son in his custody. She's a very relatable character that fears getting close to anyone. Tyson does finally realize that he is an idiot and then chases Jo down to convince her that he chooses her for no other reason than that he loves her.

This is a second chance story of Tyson and JoJo, two people who had horrible childhoods, but became best friends as children. Teenhood drove them apart, and a selfless act by Tyson allowed JoJo to go on to college, while he got a jail record. Now Tyson has everything money can buy, except his son, so after running into JoJo, he "convinces" her she owes him a fake marriage to help get custody of his son . There are all kinds of secrets that crawl out of the woodwork in this book, lots of hot, consenual sex ( sometimes in awkward places ) and family members you want to strangle or send to the Moon with a one way ticket !! A bit over use of the word fuck by Tyson for me and his Dad completely being stomped all over by his Mom; and never standing upto her are my only turn offs in this book . If you like very hot, second chance romances, you should love this book . You do not have to have read any of the other books in the series as they are all stand alones ( but luckily Kelley Harvey has added them and one of her other books at the end, so if you feel like you need to read them in order, just go to the end and you will find them )!!!!! 4⭐'s.

Wow! This book is full of HEAT!! I enjoyed the story, the flow and growth of characters. Jo can be strong willed, knowing what she wants but she is so weak when it comes to Tyson. I found myself yelling at her to stand her ground just a little bit! I would have liked deeper conversation between the two, opening up about those inner feelings and doubts. Also, we didn't learn about what Ty does, he has money and a business but nothing about that. What does he do? The interview in his building? Other than a little missing detail I loved their story, their history and that long time deep connection. I definitely recommend this! Will we get Stevie's story? Hopefully with Jake?!?!

I really enjoyed reading the story of Tyson Masters and Josephina Jordan. This is a second chance romance story, they were best friends as children, then teenage years drove them apart. I love this book! Kelley Harvey never disappoints.
Ty is an arrogant man whore who doesn't do relationships. Jo is sweet and innocent, but she doesn't let anyone get close.
These two we're neighbors as kids. Jojo had a mad crush on Ty but he was out of her league. Now they are neighbors again and crush, still there. Ty needs help and Jojo owes him so he plans to collect. But at what cost and will Jojo's heart be broken when it's over. I highly recommend this book it has it all romance, heartache, suspense and some very steamy sexy scenes. Secondary characters are awesome I love Stevie she rocks. It's a must read. Great HEA.

JoJo and Tyson, a match made in heaven even if they didn't realise it. Tyson needs a wife to enable him to gain custody of his son and when he finds out he is living next to his childhood friend Jojo he decides she is perfect. Jojo has been through 'the system' no family and no-one who chooses her. Marriage to Tyson just to get his son for him will likely break her heart but she owes him big time so she agrees. Such a well written, sexy and moving book, you are constantly switching from smiles to tears. Absolutely loved this and, if you are a fan of romance, you will too.

Sweet, Hot and Super Sexy Read

First off I absolutely loved Tyson..He's just such a sweet guy who has some serious commitment issues. Jo is the girl from his past who he reconnects over and convinces her to marry him and help him out with a little issue he has. The chemistry is off the charts and when the finally get together it heats up to super HOT.. Great story , good side character friends. And more than enough action to keep your interest.
I received this book as an ARC for my honest opinion but as soon as I finished I also purchased a copy when I found out her other bad boy next door books were in it.

Tyson got to me. Tyson is a bad boy that it is easy to want but hard to be in a relationship with. He doesn't think about how his actions might hurt others. He gets Jo to agree to be his fake wife and thinks it will be all fun and games for him too. They really struggle to find a way to communicate but the sex works for them.

I connected with Jo and all her pain. She really wanted to protect herself but couldn't resist him. I wanted him to get his act together and realize he had something good. I enjoyed their conversations. They got really funny.

This a good second chance romance with lots of heat!

I will admit: it took a while for me to warm up to Tyson. He came off as an arrogant, ruthless jerk at first. Eventually, I saw through to the confused guy underneath. Jo was easier to connect with and like. I understood her pain & reluctance to get involved with Tyson.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book, and look forward to reading more of this author's work.

Tyson and JoJo have known each other since they were children, Jo always had a crush on the bad boy. He's grown up to be a man whore and needs a fake wife to gain custody of his son.
Jo couldn't resist, men don't understand the emotions of women. Will their marriage crash in disaster? Will he wake up to himself and see what's right under his nose?
This second chance romance had plenty of highs and lows, pain and happiness.
I found it difficult to connect to this idiot of a man which almost put me off, but I really enjoyed the second half of the story. I like that the author showed what sort of upbringing both characters had which helped undertand their personalities more...because seriously I wanted to smack him one.
Great tale, I enjoyed it.

This is the story of Tyson Masters and Josephina Jordan and theirs is a second chance romance story.
They were BFFs as children and in HS, they were super close until they were driven apart when they were teens. Years later , Tyson runs into Josephina (Jo) and gets her to agree to a fake marriage so he can gain custody of his son.
This is one complex and emotional read. At times I wanted to smack Ty for how he treated Jo and other times I wanted to shake Jo and get her to admit her true feelings to TY. They danced around their true feelings. This book will have you on the edge of your seat. I was praying there would be a HEA. Would Ty come clean to Jo or would they end up going their separate ways because of Ty’s badboy ways. Jo is a good person, a good woman and she had a horrible youth which caused all of the problems between her and TY today. Will Jo be able to prove to Ty she still loves him and has never stopped and can let go of past hurts and wants all of him now? Only way to know, is by reading this fantastic 2nd chance love story.

I absolutely loved this book! JoJo was everything Tyson knew he needed but never thought he deserved. When a marriage of convenience is needed to convince the court that he isn't a bad boy anymore he meets JoJo again and all bets are off. He thought he needed a wife, but he didn't know how much he wanted one too. A must read!

So. Good

I was given an ARC for an honest review.

I have read all of the So books in this series and I love them all for different reasons. They are all standalone books and have no reoccurring characters and they all have loveable hero's and heroines and supporting characters that you so love.
I love Kelley Harvey's books and style of writing she crabs you at the beginning and doesn't let you go until you've finished the book. If you purchase this So. Book you get all the previous ones as well so it's a fantastic deal.
Happy reading.

OK. first off I want to say I want a problem solver as described in the book. That said this book was amazing! Not just a little amazing, it completely knocked me sideways. These two were so perfect for each other and yet so toxic because of their issues. Issues that they developed from their childhood. The level of heat in this book would explode a thermometer. These two are so passionate they combust either in fiery passion or heated anger. Jojo is strong and independent but she is also searching for Mr. Right to build that perfect picket fence, have the 2.5 kids and a dog with. Tyson is an arrogant sh!t with huge self indulgent tendencies and is trying to get custody of his 10 month old son. I know he doesn't sound like a prize but he is actually quite awesome. His humor and confidence wins most people over even as his self indulgence blinds him to anything else not involving his needs or wants. The question is will he realize his mistakes in time?

The plot of this book was a good one, there is one part near the end that felt a bit rushed but I was loving the book too much to fuss over it. The characters were so individual and fun, everyone down to the lowliest secondary and supporting characters were amazingly written. I am hoping for Stevie's book, fingers crossed she gets one! The emotions evoked by the plot and the characters had me sucked completely into the story. I could not put it down. This was a sit and read in one sitting book for me and I absolutely loved it. I would very highly recommend it.
