i never realized this would be 800+ pages long hahaha i also felt like i couldn't put it down at some point. i've read the series for awhile now so it felt like a huge throwback reading about the characters again and going over the story. probably the stuff that were pretty cool here were the Character Profiles, the Twisted Dreams Music and the inspirations that Jillian Dodd had for the clothes, the music that she envisioned when writing scenes in the book. but i was completely immersed with Vincent's POV of the whole series because it was so intense getting to read from his thoughts and emotions obsessing over Abby, Keatyn, Lacy and the measures that he took to get what he wants from constantly showing up to Keatyn's go-to places to finding out about her friends and families' whereabouts to hiring thugs to watch over. it felt scary to see the perspective of the stalker and his delusional and crazed obsession was definitely creepy. didn't even think i would finish this sooner since the Vincent POV was pretty long hahaha.

who the fuck told jillian dodd it was a good idea to make chapters that long. my kindle was struggling. and why does vincent’s pov have so many parts from the actual books? and they’re looong. i read the series, i already know what happened. same goes for aiden’s. this could’ve been structured so much better. kinda disappointed

I LOVE that JD did this. It is something I haven’t seen hardly at all, if at all, ever done. It gives you a behind the scenes look at the KC and JD’s writing process and what she actually saw for the book. It gives so much insight and is Amazing!

Fave Aiden moments:

“While others may wish on a shooting star, it’s the moon the holds my dreams afar.”

“‘A thing of beauty is a joy forever: its loveliness increases; it will never pass into nothingness.’”

“Before Keatyn. Because since you came into my life, no one else fits.”

“Everyone falls in love at different times in their lives. And when you’re in it, you think you know what it’s like to be in love. Until you meet your true love and feel the real thing.”

“What you feel is my heart beating for you. Always. Only. Ever. For you.”

“Did you know that each leaf on a four-leaf clover has a special meaning? The first petal is for faith. You need to have faith in us. The second is for hope. The hope that we can get through whatever life throws at us. The third is for love. And the fourth is for luck. We already know that we’re lucky together.”

I really liked Vincent and Aiden points of view as I felt Keatyn was clueless or wrong in a lot of cases XD
I didn't read all of the former/first draft of The Keatyn Chronicles but I liked the first book, well half of it better.

I've had this in my iBooks library for a while and finally started reading it.

I love seeing the original character profiles and story ideas and reading about how they evolved to become the characters and stories that I fell in love with.

I also like to see Vincent's point of view. It was so strange to read his pov and see how he thought what he was doing was so right and how everything Keatyn did to thwart him only convinced him she loved him more. it was kinda creepy and honestly, I like that.

I have not read Aiden, so I did like to see things from his side as well. It just solidifies that he is such a good person

This is so interesting to read after having read the entire series because it just deepens your understanding so much. It also answers so many questions. Like Brooklyn's sponsor girl, the gun at the club, how he uncovered the shell company, and how close he was to getting Keatyn so many times.

I suggest reading this after Get Me so you get a comprehensive story. Also, all of the behind the scenes stuff like clothing boards and deleted scenes is fun.

I love Keatyn's story, however it was just that, her version. I loved Vincent's version. Even though he was very twisted,I felt bad for him...

I really loved Aiden's POV, can never get enough of him!!

I liked reading the author's original plot for this story and then her added notes about it and how the story developed to what was published. It really made me appreciate the final story even more.
