Having read all of Alison Foster's suspenseful romances, I know that her writing contains a lot of steam and intrigue around every corner. What I didn't expect was to fall so completely in love with the relationship between the hero and heroine and watch it turn dark and twisty as the story progresses. What started out as a plan with a gorgeous male escort and soon to be heiress to fake a marriage quickly escalates into uncontrollable passion and a volatile emotional roller coaster. Alison Foster kept me panting from all the scorching scenes and scratching my head in disbelief at how quickly a romance can go from endearing to downright naughty, turbulent and leave me craving for more! Lukas and Nora are that perfect flavor of sinful and sweet!
Nora McRae has two goals in life and that is to hire a male escort for a fake one year marriage to satisfy an inheritance clause, and find a very rare book that her grandfather wrote for her. Sounds simple and innocent enough right? Wrong. From the moment that she meets Lukas and begins the quest of getting her inheritance she finds herself succumbing to his charm and falling down the elusive rabbit hole to a world full of sinister evil that she never knew lurked in the shadows. The question is will he push her further into the darkness or save her? Alison had me completely wrapped up in Lukas before she even scratched the surface of this enigmatic creature. He enamored me with bad boy good looks, vigilante justice, and the way he played Nora's body! He could give me lip service any day!
Alison delivers a romance with so much depth and mystery that you can't help but feel like you are drowning in emotions and swimming in desire right along side the characters. I highly recommend Tremble for a romance that will leave your insides quivering, your heart palpitating, and trembles of need for another book by the talented Alison Foster. She always brings us a story that doesn't just entertain but also keeps you turning pages as quick as you can to find out all the answers and experience more of the filthy, dirty, heat these two create.

Get ready to Tremble. Nora needs a husband; in comes Lukas. Nora doesn't trust, she thinks it's overrated. She just needs Lukas for a year. It's supposed to be easy. She gets what she wants. Lukas gets compensated and they move on. It's all on paper. But, things don't always go as expected. Nora wasn't counting on Lukas' charm. She wasn't counting on her reaction to Lukas. So then Alison Foster takes us on a series of twist and turns. She creates characters with combustible chemistry. Adds a dash of suspense. Some nerve wracking scenes and you have a book that is hard to put down. With Tremble you get all that and then some. Then Lukas shows us a very dark side and you will wander "what the hell?!?!", but that makes this story that much better. The ending? You will have to read it to find out. Another book added to my list of favorites.

Tremble is an action packed, fast paced, slightly dark suspenseful romance. Full of not only a steamy romance but action packed too, this book will have you eager to keep on reading to find out more from the start.
The two main characters, Nora and Lukas, have an undeniable attraction that simmers from the start and you just know that these two together will be an exciting and hot read. Personally, I liked how the author developed the relationship between them, before introducing the action. I found it allowed the plot to play out strongly and that there was a good basis rather than had the relationship not have been there before the action was introduced. The dual points of views also helped to tell the story of Nora and Lukas, giving a better understanding of both characters and the warring emotions they go through,
Tremble is a fast paced, well written romantic suspense that has a strong, intense and action packed storyline, particularly as the plot thickens and the book advances. Split into three parts within the book, there is a wicked curveball that I definitely did not see coming that took the book in a whole new direction. The book is told through dual points of views at differing times but is mostly told from one character’s perspective to avoid plot spoilers. There was a good balance of romance and action later on to keep you turning each page. It was nice to see other characters pop up from previous books, even though I have personally only read one other book from this author (Bodyguard Dearest), so be assured and do not worry if you have not read any other books as this can truly be read as a standalone and I can guarantee despite the dark turn in this book, there is a HEA.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this romantic suspense.

I'm so glad I won a giveaway on Rochelle's Reviews, otherwise I wouldn't have had the pleasure of reading Tremble by Alison Foster. Now, I want to devour every delectable book she's ever written. Her writing style is flawless and gripping. It sucks you in from the very first page and leaves you breathless with the very last.
Nora McRae is an independent woman, who hires an escort to play the part of her fiance/husband. Now, all she need do is convince her escort and the money is in the bag. Will Nora be a good enough actress in her 'fake' marriage to acquire her grandfather's inheritance? Or will Lukas muddle her mind and her body with his sexy charm and good looks?
Lukas Dupree is always up for a challenge. So when the gorgeous Nora reveals his part in the grand scheme of things, he's all in. There's no doubt in Lukas's mind that he'll be able to convince Nora's friends and family that their relationship is real. He's confident in his ability to pull it off. Nora McRae needs a husband to claim her inheritance, enter Lukas the escort she meets with to possibly pose as her husband. Lukas has his own reasons for agreeing to the fake relationship, but can he follow through with his plans when push comes to shove. Nora knows there are people out there who hate her because of her father and the pain he put so many people through because of his greedy ways, but that's not her she just wants work in animation. What follows for Lukas and Nora is a twisted road that ends up meaning more than either thought it would. This was an amazing read from Alison Foster! Such a great book by a first time reading from this author. Nora McRae is in need of an escort and Lukas Dupree showed up to be that requested escort with a deep dark secret. The story was nicely written with a good story plot because sometimes you have to be careful what you ask for! I won't go into details to give the book away but it's well worth the read!

Tremble by Alison Foster is a fabulous book! Nora is in for a big surprise when the escort she originally hires can't make it, and Lukas Dupree shows up in his place. She needs Lukas so she can plan a fake wedding. She needs to be married so she can get an inheritance left to her by her father. The story takes some twists and turns along the way!! Some times you have to be careful what you wish for. Read this book...you will not be disappointed!!

This was voluntarily read for an honest review. This started off all from Nora's point of view, and to be honest she annoyed the heck out of me. If I hadn't received it for a review, I may have stopped too soon. Then, all of a sudden, the whole story changed with a big unexpected, slightly dark, twist. We started getting Lukas' POV as well. After the twist I really enjoyed the story and catching up with Tanner and Tris, an added bonus.

I have read all of this authors work so far and I enjoy her stories. I did find this one took me a bit to get into and it could have been a bit smoother but once I did I couldn't put it down.
This story is about Nora and Lukas. Things go along nicely until the story takes a twist I was not expecting. If you think that is all there is to the story you're wrong. It goes deeper and darker. Tanner is also back (yeah) and we also get a little look at Shane and I can't wait to find out his story.

wow. I found this book on FreeBooksy and thought it looked interesting.
LITTLE did I know I would get sucked in and read until three in the morning!
I never leave spoilers or regurgitate story lines so you'll have to check this put yourself, but I think I can safely warn you that you'll be shocked at turns of events and moved at the strength and humor of the characters.
I highly recommend this book, and will follow this author.

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. I am always a fan of Alison’s books and I can say I was not disappointed with this one. She makes you feel for these characters and always leaves you wanting more. I could not put this book down. I absolutely loved it and highly recommend it.

Nora thinks she found an easy way around the will but it is anything but easy when Lukas arrives instead of the man she chose to be her convenient husband.
This is a really fun read with some surprises. I really enjoyed the characters. Lukas is a man of mystery. The conversations between them and the chemistry keep it very lively.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book. Wow. I found this such a thrilling book. Loved Lukas & Nora. I think I have a bit of a crush on Lucas...lol. Highly recommend. It keeps you wanting more.

Double wow!
Lukas Dupree is off the charts in every way possible...A dark Prince Charming for hire by no other than mediocre Nora McRae.
Though Lukas and Nora have chemistry—I can’t stand her! Proving yet again that stories told in first person can make you dislike a character immensely. Nora’s character checks all the boxes—needy, whiny, insecure...you get the picture, no one I want to read about. Lukas on the other hand, is the triple “E”...enigmatic, exciting and enthralling. I can’t keep my eyes off him either!
But...”Luke, step over fro the dark side.”Tremble does a 360 and totally surprises me—which is rare—and takes me on an unexpected journey. To say more would spoil the surprise twist.
Good story and characters however, Nora has quite a few similarities to Tris Kane in her tone. Jules is both the comic relief and voice of reason. Sexy bodyguard of dreams, Tanner Hayes and newcomer Shane, aka Mad Max Dude, drop in and no doubt we’ll be seeing more of Shane in Tremble. I can hardly wait!!

A good read...
Got a little dark in the middle which shocked me as I wasn't expecting it to get that dark. But loved the ending and could have kept reading if it had more.

There was a lot about this book that was unexpected. The reason I gave the book 2 stars is because it rambled on at times but mainly it was so hard to believe that I couldn't find myself involved with the story. It was like a soap opera. Unbelievable plots, extreme situations of people taking their deaths, to kidnapping and falling for someone that tried to rape you.

This is the first book I've read by Alison Foster and what a fantastic read! A hot, steamy, action packed, suspenseful romance with mystery, secrets, and so many twists and turns it keeps you on the edge of your seat! I loved Nora and bad boy Lukas and can't wait to read the next book! Great read!

Interesting in some places but mostly a very predictable book. The story was mildly entertaining but I wouldn't call it a very cerebral read at all. Too much idle banter in my opinion which did nothing to add to the story.
