This was quite a sad volume, I cried some tears.
Again Koharu, why the hell are you wearing underwear with holes? :| I am getting a bit tired of her behaviour.

Koharu rejects the her father Tetsuro's idea of getting a divorce. Her father, who by now only has about a month to live, wants her to be happy. She hesitates to tell the Dates about his desire, but Ryu already knows about his condition and decides to organize a get together to cheer him up. It seems to backfire by the end, but ultimately Tetsuro accepts his daughter's life partners.

After Tetsuro's death, Ryu performs a song on the piano in his memory, though he swore off playing the instrument. The song pushes Koharu to tears and makes her even more emotionally attached to Ryu.

The Dates have to decide on heating for their home. Since they can't decide on it, they go underwear shopping for Koharu instead. Their goal is to use her to goad Ryu into playing the piano some more. To add some more humor in the mix, Koharu accidentally switches her order with Urara's, so her underwear barely fits her frame. Still, Ryu's reaction is... there.

Koharu's father wasn't perfect but he's a good one. It was a shame he had to die early.
