Author Kelsey Collins introduces the subject of her new book Exit Strategy, which explores the way humans have a tendency to forget, perhaps purposefully, that we are all going to die someday. Kelsey inspires us to humanize the aging process, recognizing we are not only all in this together; we are also going to exit at some point, and maybe, just maybe, having our own exit strategies will help us to live each day we have here more fully, more genuinely and more lovingly."
I won this book as apart of a Goodreads giveaway. First of all let me express the irony that I received this book when I did. After I opened the package, I knew the universe was sending me a message.
The first thing I did was go to the website and sign up to receive my life chart via email. However, it wasn't until I downloaded the free mobile app that I was truly able to unlock my destiny. The mobile app was more clear cut in analyzing my chart.
Learning my life theme, type, authority, and profile was easy. And after reading the descriptions given I feel like they are accurate. Finding my quarter took a bit longer as this part of the app is still under construction or will be updated in the future. But after I was able to discover my quarter, I believe it is also accurate.
Finally, I delved into the book's "Life Themes" and found the page number dedicated to me. Looking at the page I noticed that they included my quarter chart here. Upon reading the description, it is a theme that I've noticed innately about myself. One of my raison d'êtres is to help change the world for the better.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this book and companion app to others. I've even had people ask me to borrow it already. My last note, is to please finish the updates to your app!
An interesting way to explore one's tendencies. I'm still working with and will continue to explore what it has to offer. Chetan Parkyn, the author, will be my guest on my radio show on UnityFM so I'll get to ask him first hand about my many questions around destiny and purpose. http://www.unity.fm/program/DivinelyI...
I loved the introductory book about Human design by Parkyn. I think it’s very enlighting and well written. But this one is an add-on and worth buying ONLY IF you draw the human design of many people. I find each description quite short and unfulfilling.
Intriguing yet somewhat forgettable dive into the 192 Incarnation Crosses of Human Design. While the content sparks curiosity, it’s not the kind of book that instantly sticks with you—especially if, like me, you’re still wrapping your head around Human Design basics. That said, it’s a decent guide for those ready to explore their life themes, but fair warning: you might need a Human Design primer before fully appreciating it. Worth revisiting once you’ve got the fundamentals down.
