Once you enter, anything goes. No fantasy—however dark and dirty and depraved it may be—is forbidden. You have no past, no inhibitions, no morals…and no memory. All you have to cling to is the memory of a scorching touch, a searing kiss, the wet slide of skin on skin, and the heat of breath across your flesh. Step forward… Turn the knob… Step through the fourth door...

"If Your Dirty And You Know It Clap Your Hands." That's exactly how I felt reading this book. Lol. Wow! Is all I can say. There was so much sex going on in this short book! I only read this one because I wanted to know what happen to Hannah Tavistock, from book (3) what I got was; The man of the house (Mister Killian) throwing these naughty poker games, starting Miss Tavistock. We have it all people, Anal play, Light Bondage, F/F Scene, Oral Delight, Squirting, Stripping and Voyeurism. I'm no prude but I wanted some kind of story.
If I had to choose a door, I would go back to door (3) just saying. Door (4) not for me. Lol.
If you love a very well written, detail sexual fantasies, I recommend.
The Black Room: Door Four by Jasinda Wilder is part of a serial and definitely should be read in order.
This door is super explicit and is basically one extended orgy filled with various types of kink, especially voyeurism and exhibitionism. The central plot revolves around a poker game with some...interesting stakes. If you're looking purely for the smut, you'll find it here in spades (pun not intended). But the story lacks the emotional impact of Door Three, my favorite in the collection so far.
As always, Jasinda Wilder excels at writing sex scenes, but in this door there's a decided lack of intimacy in those scenes. So for me, something crucial was missing and this installment doesn't add much to the overall mystery of what The Black Room is.
However, when the story takes a turn at the end, I was fascinated by where the plot is going now. If not for that intriguing ending, I'd have been tempted to rate this lower. As such, I simply must know what happens next, cliffhangers be damned.
Wow, these books are dragging me in...... When I read the first I was a little bit disappointed because it wasn't this authors usual writing but now I feel so connected to the main character...... This story is insanely sensual and sizzling with lust and cravings. I'm still a little confused about what this really is........but then I forget the whole "what is the meaning of this story?" and live in the moment with the characters. If you can manage to read the first book and see past all the questions that probably leaves you with, this can be a wonderful, black, sinful journey. The destination isn't the most important but the adventures on the way to it is...........
Hold onto your panties; this is pure erotica but with a purpose. Another look into these characters (well another version of the same characters! How cool is this?) I don't have words. The experience was unexpected to say the least. Especially how easily Hannah fell into it. You truly must leave you're expectations and inhibitions at the door. Don't think or overanalyze, just let go and enjoy! The next door looks epic! Can't wait for my next adventure/journey.
I received an ARC for an honest review of this work. I believe this part of the story of Hannah and Conrad is a universal secret fantasy. It is wonderfully written, and on fire. A full hand was never this exciting.
Wow the deeper in the series the hotter and more internet the doors get. I can't put them down. So far 3 is my favorite but as five is about to be read I think this one is going take its place. I've never read any series like this it's fantastic.
This is the first book in the series to let me down. Yes, the sex was off the charts hot, the storytelling pulls you in, but, in this case, the story just had too many players. I've never been a fan of voyeurism, and this book was all about the 'audience' getting involved in the sex act.
It took me out of the story--thinking about all those people watching these two people have sex, and helping the heroine get off.
Not my cup of tea, but I liked it enough to read the next "door."
WHOA!! WTH am I reading?! I feel like I just read something out of a Penthouse magazine! Yikes! But I loved it! ;-) Seriously HOT, but definitely NOT for the faint of heart!!! I have to know what is going on with this chic and all these people behind the doors! Is she dreaming or what?!
I will think twice before I let my husband go play poker again....still waiting for a clue as to why this woman is going through these doors ...am I missing any hints here?

“Silence. Perfect, utter silence. A drowning quiet. A longing, deep and unfulfilled, soul-deep, a bone-deep need for something I cannot have; the first sensation. Pang of loss, gnaw of guilt, acid bite of shame, burning heat of lust, a deep delicious soreness in all the right places—all of these sensations roil and coil and mingle together, wedded; the second sensation. I open my eyes; the third sensation. I’m in the room of black doors.” (Book #2)
The Black Room Series By Jasinda Wilder and Jade London kept me enthralled from beginning to end. I really didn’t know what to expect going into this series, but the synopsis intrigued me so much that I went on a one-clicking frenzy and snapped up the entire series to devour- and devour them I did. The books are all quite short, quick and easy reads. But each one packs a punch, keeping you guessing, and completely engrossed by the story. I had so many questions right from the outset. There is a real mysteriousness to the whole story that had me trying to guess where the it was leading, and entirely unsure of the outcome. Each book adds another layer to this complex and intriguing story- there are so many facets, which when layered on top of one another begin to build a truly fascinating story. From book one where we are really not sure where we are, how we got there, or what the heck is happening, the black room, all the doors, all the discoveries, and encounters, book after book, door after door, layer upon layer- things are never quite as they appear- and they way this series/story is pieced together, and the ‘revelation’ at the end was really clever! This book/series is HOT, erotic, dark, delicious, and unputdownable. I read the entire series back to back- and enjoyed every second. This is definitely a story/series I won’t soon forget. It’s one I can see myself revisiting again in the future. Brilliant!
I don't know, this series is getting tiring. At first the idea of the doors were interesting the sex is hot sure, but scene after scene it gets a little tiring just reading them all. I will continue to read the series I would like to see what happens with Hannah and Killigan. Also intrigued by the ending of the book to see what happens next...but I may take a break from the series for a bit. I don't know this book just didn't sit well with me. Maybe I'm just not into voyeurism (which was a major role in the card games)?
OMG! Door #4 is on F.I.R.E. Hannah and Conrad play a very different version of poker than I ever have. At this point we still aren’t given any tidbits to uncover what’s going on. I can only hope that with Hannah starting to remember her connection to Conrad after she leaves that things may start to be explained.
Super fucking hot read! Still confused on what's going on why she's going threw the doors experiencing these what? Fantasies?Dreams?I sure wouldn't mind going through some of those myself..hopefully the last book will fill me in! Going to Door 5!!
This naughty erotica has it all in spades. Its thrilling and fun for a fantasy. This series has kept me enthralled with the curiosity of what’s actually going on. I look forward to the next one!
This is one of the most unique series I've ever read. My recommendation is to go into it completely blind - don't read other reviews or summaries of any of the books. There is more to the plot than meets the eye.
