Uvi Poznansky
41 books359 followersUvi Poznansky is a USA TODAY bestselling, award-winning author, poet and artist. “I paint with my pen,” she says, “and write with my paintbrush.” Her romantic suspense box set, Love Under Fire, and her medical thriller box set, Do No Harm, made the USA TODAY bestselling list. Her romance box set, A Touch of Passion, was the 2016 WINNER of The Romance Reviews Readers' Choice Awards.
Education and work:
Uvi earned her B. A. in Architecture and Town Planning from the Technion in Haifa, Israel and practiced with an innovative Architectural firm, taking a major part in the large-scale project, called Home for the Soldier.
Having moved to Troy, N.Y. with her husband and two children, Uvi received a Fellowship grant and a Teaching Assistantship from the Architecture department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. There, she guided teams in a variety of design projects and earned her M.A. in Architecture. Then, taking a sharp turn in her education, she earned her M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
She worked first as an architect, and later as a software engineer, software team leader, software manager and a software consultant (with an emphasis on user interface for medical instruments devices.) All the while, she wrote and painted constantly, and exhibited in Israel and California. In addition, she taught art appreciation classes. Her versatile body of work includes bronze and ceramic sculptures, oil and watercolor paintings, charcoal, pen and pencil drawings, and mixed media.

Still Life with Memories is a family saga series with touches of romance. The series includes My Own Voice, The White Piano, The Music of Us, Dancing with Air, and Marriage before Death. Volume I and II are bundled in Apart from Love; volume III-V are bundled in Apart from War.
The David Chronicles is a historical fiction series with a modern twist. It includes three novels--Rise to Power, A Peek at Bathsheba, and The Edge of Revolt--and six art through the ages collections, describing each moment of the story.
Her poetry book, Home, is in tribute to her father. Her collection of dark tales, Twisted, and her Historical Fiction book, A Favorite Son, are both new age, biblically inspired books. In addition, Uvi wrote and illustrated two children books, Jess and Wiggle and Now I Am Paper. For each one of these books, she created an animation video (find them on YouTube and on her Goodreads page.)

What great idea! Offer samples of the stories before you buy the whole set. While many of these authors are known to me, I did like the sampling of stories. It prompted me to buy the Love in Times of War boxset. Sweeping romance in times of war is a must-read for this gal. Highly recommend!

Do you love romantic fiction? How about HISTORICAL romantic fiction? You do? I do, too! So, you can imagine how excited I was to see such a great group of authors coming together to form a collection where you could sample their work before you buy.
There is much to choose from, and each author shares enough of their story to whet your appetite for more. After reading each excerpt, I've decided that I would like to read more from these writers and will order some of the other titles. I'm hoping Santa will be good to me this year so that I can buy more books!
Included in this anthology is an example from the book Dancing With Air. I have read the full novel of Dancing With Air, a poignant tale of true love which begins during World War II between Lenny and Natasha which then culminates in the later years of their lives. Their story is skillfully told by Uvi Poznansky and I loved it.
This compilation is well worth the price and the opportunity to meet and sample the work of authors I haven't read before. As an avid reader, this is truly a value packed offer. I had to add this collection of works to my "Me Time" category. I loved these stories and author introductions, and I think you will too! <3

“Book Bites” is a wonderful collection of samples of full-length romance novels, written by twelve very talented authors, one of them being S. R. Mallery, whose books I read before and loved them all. In “Book Bites” each story takes place in a different period of time – the American Civil War, WWI, WWII and many more, all tying up in a masterfully organized sequence of love stories, which took place in the most perilous of times. Each story is so different and compelling in its own way that having finished reading “Book Bites” I immediately pre-ordered the full set of novels. I don’t know how I’ll be able to wait two weeks to get my hands on them:) Amazing work!

A great idea bringing snippets from different authors’ full-length novels and placing them into one book, giving just enough to whet the reader’s appetite, and to want more.
Wounded hearts, parting for war, injured solider returning, and a shy mademoiselle are just some of the themes mentioned, each bringing something different to read.
At the end of the book, a short passage about each author, as well as all the titles of their books, leaves the reader satisfied.

A Taste of Love!
Book Bites is not a short story collection but a collection of bits of stories to grab your attention and wet your appetite or more. After reading this book that is exactly what it did to me! I enjoyed the different reading styles in each story even though they were essentially about a similar premise - a time of war.
I have to commend these talented authors for this ingenious idea to put together this collection. Being an avid reader, I like the chance to read new authors. I can get a feel for each author's writing style immediately in the first chapter. A wonderful way to introduce new authors to readers out there. Now I need to check out the collection to continue the stories.

This collection is really a sneak peek at the writing of various artists, the stories are all well written, bt just give you a hint at the larger stories which can be found by the assorted authors books. This collection is a great idea and a good way for readers to learn about the authors and their writing styles.
