When love simmers sweet and passion simmers smooth, rhapsody is efficacious rapture.
Tommy and Spencer were meant for each other, that is, until a serendipitous encounter proves to be an enormous revelation. Will Luke, Tommy's childhood friend, serve to change the tide?
Kesha has finally told Teresa about her feelings. The only drawback is Teresa's engagement to Chris. Will Kesha bask in the bliss that only Teresa can bring, or will Chris get in the way?
Come feel the ardent emotions which steam under a silky surface with Simmer: Smoothe & Sweet.
Adonis Mann has a style all his own. He does not always give his characters names, as his sole intent is for the audience to place themselves in the characters world; to make the reader and the character one. Yet, when he does, it does not take away from the marvel that are his prose. Embellishing his writing with seductive verbiage makes each story unique in its own right and also makes Adonis Mann’s literature singular and unparalleled.

Two authors team up to write stories about love and passion.
The first story revolves around Tommy, who is set to marry the love of his life, Spencer. As the big day draws to a near, Tommy learns of his fiancée’s infidelity and calls off the wedding. When Tommy’s at a low moment in his life, an encounter with his former classmate reveals a secret crush and makes Tommy wonder if he’s ready to take a second chance on love.
The second story focuses on Kesha, who is in love with her best friend, Teresa. Kesha makes her feelings known to Teresa, yet Teresa doesn’t share the same feelings. However, a secret about her fiancée sends Teresa to Kesha and she starts to see her friend in a new light.
Both stories were wonderfully written, the love scenes were great and you could sense the passion between the characters. The authors did a good job of capturing the emotions of the characters as they struggled with their feelings.
This is the first time I’ve read anything from Adonis Mann and Synful Desire, and if the rest of their books are anything like this one, I’m eager to read them.

Okay, let me put it this way ...
The blurb is NO EXAGGERATION!
When love simmers sweet and passion simmers smooth, rhapsody is efficacious rapture."
Just, just ... hot dog! Talk about the heat! Reading "Simmer: Smoothe & Sweet" is like dipping your tongue in Tabasco sauce and loving the delicious pain of it all.
Tommy gets his heart broken by the love of his life Spencer, but Luke serves to curb his pain.
Then ...
Teresa gets her heart broken by her fiance Chris, but Kesha serves to curb her pain.
These are 2 independent stories, but they are similar in that they are the authors' interpretations of one anothers stories.
In regards to writing style, both authors are as different as apples and oranges, but the miracle is that together they work perfectly.
I highly recommend this book to the lover of LGBT Erotica. "Simmer: Smoothe & Sweet" is a hot and phenomenal. 5 stars!
