A truly heartbreaking story. The editing needed a little work but nothing that should keep you from reading. The details can be really disturbing and hard to take in, but I think they were details most people don't write about or even know happened. I have studied the Holocaust for years, and I read about a couple things that I had assumed happened but never actually read about before. I had to put the book down a few times just to wrap my mind around the horrific things this woman saw and experienced.
