It’s almost Christmas and Alex and Grace Rycroft are hosting the team at their new home in upstate New York right before the holiday. But first, they’re attending a gala in the city in honor of the foundation Hunter Phillips and Khalia Patterson set up for veterans injured in combat. Unknown to them, however, there’s someone with an axe to grind with Hunter and Khalia and determined to spoil their evening.

The last book felt like closure for the series so this was a nice bonus. Cross really excels at writing action scenes and it was seriously on display in this story. Some of them left me breathless and I was spellbound as the scenes in the limo, on the street and the subway unfolded. It was a fine piece of writing.

I’ve enjoyed the series and appreciate the attention given here to the realities of emotional injuries experienced by the men and women in combat, along with the physical. We can’t be reminded enough. I liked how the stories for each team member closed and loved reading this series as a group.

Rekindled, the last book in the series.
It was so good to see all of them together. I love how each of the couple has participated (each has their own POV😊) This was a quick read and a good conclusion for the series. I really loved it.💕

I’ve never been that scared in my life. Not ever, and you and I both know that’s saying a lot, because I was scared out of my wits plenty of times back in Pakistan.”

Action packed, novella in which tragedy strikes and a team member’s life is in jeopardy. This was entertaining, but I thought this was unnecessary as I was satisfied with how the previous book concluded the series. 3 stars.

This last novella is a great addition to the series. Short and fast as usual. I cannot explain how I love her writing. She's really a wonderful author.

Kaylea Cross proves, again, why she is one of the best at writing action scenes. I feel like I'm right there in it with the characters. This is one reason why I read her, she is so good at making the reader a part of the action. This book was supposed to be a kind of wrap up of the Titanium Security Series, but it was so much more.

Hail, hail, the gangs all here. They all are gathering at Alex and Grace's newly renovated Victorian in upstate New York for a Christmas reunion. First on the schedule for the fun weekend is a gala for Scotties Foundation, a charity to help veterans reenter civilian life, in New York City. Well, what would a Titanium Security Series book be if something didn't go wrong? It seems that the foundation has made an enemy who is set on revenge.

BLINDSIDED brings the team back together and I loved seeing all these characters again! You definitely need to read the whole series before reading this one. But this wasn't a quick check in with hearts and smiles, instead Kaylea Cross takes us on a roller coaster of a story and even knowing that everything would work didn't stop me from worrying. BLINDSIDED packs a serious emotional punch and I read it one sitting because I couldn't put it down. Fast paced, gut wrenching, and full of emotion!

4.75 Almost perfect stars.

All I needed was a sweet/sexy Blake and Jordyn scene for this to be perfect.
So awesome otherwise. Hunter and Khalia had quite a rollercoaster from high to low and back again. Alex and Grace & Sean and Zahra had awesome scenes as well. Gage got to be an overprotective dad, a flirty husband and a bada$$ alpha with Claire doing her usual. Blake and Jordyn got a snippet together, but mostly supported their Titanium family through this crisis.

Bravo to Kaylea Cross on the novella ending/tying up the Titanium Series. I loved this little shorter story. And I loved how she had the main focus on the couple that started the series - Hunter and Khalia. This did not disappoint.

Hunter and Khalia are hosting a gala in honor of the foundation they founded to help vets transfer back into "normal" life. All of the Titanium members are there in support. After the gala they are all to go to Alex and Grace's house for a pre-Christmas celebration. Things at the gala don't got as planned however.

There is the positive and exciting moment where Hunter announces that he and Khalia eloped two hours before the gala - surprising all of his fellow Titanium members. On the way back to the hotel after the gala, a man on a motorcycle drives up next to Hunter and Khalia's limo and shoots into the window wounding Hunter. Wounding him badly. Now I know that a happily ever after is coming and that Hunter would not die in the end of this series. But even so, the suspense was there. Sean tries desperately to save him while waiting for an ambulance - in NYC traffic. Khalia is an emotional wreck thinking she's going to lose her brand new husband. All the while, the other boys are running after the shooter. It's touch and go for Hunter for a while but he pulls through and Alex, Gage and Blake track down the shooter.

Once at Alex and Grace's house, the members are surprised by Alex and Grace's announcement that they are adopting a baby girl. And the rest of the members surprise Sean with a therapy dog to help him with the depression that has come along in the aftermath of his accident. Yes, he's regained the use of his legs but he'll never be able to be in the field again and he's forced to stay behind a desk. Seeing Hunter about to die puts things into perspective for him - and he realizes how lucky he is and turns his attitude around.

This was a heart-stopping finale that this series deserved. I loved every minute of it!

This had my nerves on edge, I just knew something major was coming from the the lead in at the start. All the couple's planning to get together, yup, never straight forward. Tense, intense, scary as all get out. I was screaming internally, right there with them, wringing my hands. Then the get together, news and a few surprises. Suspenseful, exciting and a happy ending. What a rollercoaster of emotions.

Thrilling & passionate

The surprises kept coming. Intense action, heartwarming scenes, steamy sex, everything you expect from Kaylee and more. This book is completely dependent on you having read the Titanium Series first, and she wants you about that in the forward, but I'm reiterating. A great end to a great series. <3

I cried in this one too!! A really good Christmas story with the team, but this is not your typical Christmas Story, not even close. The story has so much action, suspense, passion between each of the couples, and the brotherhood and sisterhood of the relationship it's truly felt.

All I can say is wow and wow!

a novella where all the characters from the 1-5 book get together to celebrate Christmas.
Sean is still struggling to face his new condition but slowly, he starts to find himself again with the help of his wife and teammates.

I could say that the main characters here are Hunter and Khalia. They did a good job to honour Scott and helping the veterans who need some help.

More than just a novella!

Wow!! Never expected the harsh experiences the gang would go through in this Christmas novella. It was brutal, yet beautiful and full of angst and love and hope. The group is all here and the wrap up of this series is great!!

This book has great characters and fast-paced action. It was a bit too "busy" for me - lots going on. I felt like I needed a scorecard to keep track of everybody. It still was basically an enjoyable book with happy endings.

I really enjoyed this little wrap up to the Titanium Security series, we got to catch up with all the characters we know and love, see what new things were happening with them, and of course got a little taste of the excitement we're used to. I just wish the series didn't have to end!
