Daniël Christakos did not need or want a relationship. He had his family and his work. Nothing else mattered. Johanna Jon was alone in a sea of couples. Mr. Right was either engaged or married. She was stuck slowly shifting through Mr. Wrongs. A set-up turned occasional fun has the potential to grow into so much more.
Jen A Durand was born in New York. Her parents were immigrants turned citizens. She was raised in South Carolina by a single mother. One of five children and a current graduate student, she currently lives in NY with her books and wine. She writes as a release. It takes the right woman to bring out the warmth in a man whose all about business. Daniel and Johanna were setup by Italia.. You met Italia in a previous book in the Lipstick Diaries Anyway, she was happy and preparing to marry Isaac Sousa, so she wanted the same happiness she felt for all of her new family members and friends. Needlessly to mention, it worked. And the rest was history... Lovely short story..
There is no getting around it, this author has a brilliant way of telling her story. This book concentrates on Johanna and Daniel who are thrown together. Their chemistry is amazing even if they try to deny it. This is such a down to earth story that I could be reading about friends of friends. I loved every second of this book.

Italia decides that her brother Daniel needs a suitable woman in his life, and she introduces him to her husbands PA. They hit it off together, but will it develop into something more than friends with benefits?
This novella is the conclusion to the trilogy. It includes characters from the previous books, but it does read fine as a standalone book.

This story is about Johanna and Daniel, who were set up by Daniel's sister Italia. If you're following this series, you read about Italia in Book 2. Johanna and Daniel have an instant connection and the chemistry between them is undeniable. This was a very entertaining read and it was a well-written ending to a great trilogy. I'm looking forward to whatever Ms. Durand has in store next!
