And of course, being a true romantic at heart, it was important for her to fuse romance with the paranormal with a dash of "color." Miss Jenkins prides herself on writing for "the woman without the fairytale" and of course bringing magic and melanin to each book she writes.

This Author did not disappoint with Into The Shadows! The story draws you in as you fall in love with the characters. Well written and recommended.

Never once put it down.
I devoured this book in one sitting. A rollicking good story that keeps the action going pretty much full tilt from start to finish. And not just with chases, intrigue and fighting either. This is a grown folks book. There's some tastefully executed, but intense eros happening in here... Vampires love hard!
The way this writer talks about different races of vampires is refreshingly novel and reflects some serious thought given to the storyline. It definitely adds to the genre in a good way.
What's really nice is that there's more than one hero (at least four, male & female) to get behind in this story... all of which are well fleshed out.
Having read pretty much all of this writers work... I can say without doubt that she's really hitting a long stride and is definitely one to watch... And read! I was truly irritated to reach the end of this book.
