The content itself is great, and the author is able to explain most topics in a clear manner.
The reason I'm rating it with three stars is because despite being the official cert guide, there are exam topics whose content is not to be found in here.

It is imperative to understand that this should not be your only source material of study. And I'd personally recommend to perform some exam dumps before the test, to verify which topics require further study.

Needless to say that all topics marked as "Key topic" on this book should be mastered.

It's a bit dry, to say the least, but I don't think there's any choice. Paired with a lot of experience AND, some good labs, I was able to pass, so mission accomplished. I think he did a good job of covering IPv6 which I don't know many people with extensive, practical experience, so good to learn. Seemed to cover what was needed, and well enough, that some of the CCNP exams won't be quite as challenging, but I'll have to let you know. I was reading maybe 1-2% of the book per day, which is about all I could do with work and life. It was hard to come home after doing this all day at work and jump in to it. CCNA test is much harder than my first, back in 1999.
