She can't seem to learn even the simplest of pixie tasks. Her pixie God-Mother is beside herself trying to help Neesa with her pixie training... because, seriously, NO Pixie has ever failed before.
Neesa’s ready to give up on all of it—even on the beautiful jeweled shoes each pixie get at graduation—when she meets Tara, a little girl with a big dream. Overhearing how the other children tease and bully Tara and her dream, Neesa knows she has to help. But how can she if she's not finished her training? What power does a klutzy pixie have?
Pixie Shoes is a fun, adventure filled chapter book for ages 6 to 11—and a perfect read-aloud story for anyone younger who dreams of fairies, Celtic pixies, horses, and glittering shoes.

Rachel Ellyn writes sharp, character-driven fiction that blends emotional depth, sly humor, and twisty suspense. After early work in children’s fiction and flash fiction, she found her stride crafting romantic suspense, comedic mysteries, and women’s psychological thrillers—with a dash of spice when the story demands it.
A lifelong observer of human nature (and questionable life choices), Rachel draws inspiration from her own adventures: several marriages, countless reinventions, and a hard-won understanding of what it means to “grow where you’re planted.”
Her voice is warm, witty, and unapologetically honest, earning her devoted readers across multiple genres.
Rachel currently lives in La Paz, BCS, Mexico, happily married to husband number four, the love of the rest of her life—and she means it this time.
This is a children's story about Neesa a Pixie that is newly born in a patch of Harebells (Bluebells) along the meadows of Cornwall. Pixies are only born in the summer. The story continues talking about reading her instruction book and she would be under the care of Mo Anam Cara. This is an interesting tale and I think children would love the story. It flowed nicely and was easy to read and understand. Fun read for children, I recommend. I received a Kindle eBook from the publisher from Goodreads Giveaways in exchange for a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
I love this story and plan to read it many times to my granddaughter. It has the most wonderful lessons with the best story. Everyone should read this fantastic book! Thanks Rachel!
