Dancing With Fire

There is always a risk of being burned when you dance with fire…

Lucabella Strand is tired of waiting for the Firestone playboys to honor her request for a meeting. Raising rents, and hiring a musclebound douche-bag as a building manager to threaten and torment them is not how reasonable landlords treat their tenants.

Zac and Hayden Firestone have no idea they even own a residential building, and when Bella accuses them of unfair treatment they immediately deny it. Until she shows them her proof. She leaves both men reeling, but believing that she might be the one meant for them. Seeing her for the second time leaves them in shock.

A misunderstanding and a hidden secret quickly comes between them, and finding a way back together proves difficult. Will taking a chance and dancing with fire lead Bella to a future she had never thought she’d have, or will she be burned by love and left alone?

Mother, Wife, Author, and all around crazy...

I write the kind of books that I love to read. Love stories between strong men and their independent soulmates. Usually, their path to Happily Ever After is a bumpy one, but there is always a Happy Ever After.

In the world's I create there is someone (or two, or three) for everyone! Love comes in many forms and I believe it is all beautiful and should be celebrated!

I live, love and write in New Zealand, married to my husband of eleven years with two beautiful children who I truly believe were sent as a blessing, but sometimes to try my patience, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Enjoyed this book but definitely not my favorite.

I liked the plot and since I'm in the mood for something naughty, I tried this book. The writing is fine, and the storyline also pretty good. But I guess the drama and the, I don't know, the way to story unfolds didn't really amazed nor engaged me in. But then again, maybe it's just me. But overall, I liked Maia Dylan's writing and since it's my first time reading her book, I look forward to read more!

Not only was I left desperate for more but I was also left wondering how the hell I hadn’t found or read any of Maia’s books before this one. I have said this before and I will say it again for the sake of expressing my love for this story: I LOVE ménage romances! Because of that I very picky on the ones I read, I guess you could say when I it comes to ménage I am high maintenance. BUT ‘Dancing with fire’ hit the spot; I will happily re read this book numerous amounts of times. I admit that I wanted to slap Hayden when he was making suggestions of Bella being a prostitute; in fact I wanted Bella to make him stew/sweat a bit longer and not forgive him straight away. I am struggling to put into words my thoughts on Bella, but I will try my best: I absolutely adored her! She is hilarious and badass, what’s not to love! Another reason I loved this book was because of her, I freaking love feisty and badass female leads! I loved the twist on what Bella’s career was, I loved that her men didn’t make her give up the job she loved because of the danger and risks that come with that type of job. Although I liked both Hayden and Zac, I am not ashamed to admit that Zac was my favorite brother; he wasn’t as judgmental as Hayden and he seemed the softer of the two even though they were twins and alpha males. I was in stitches when they described Bella as a pint sized Bruce Lee. (yes I know I called her Bella all through that and that her name is Lucabella, BUT my word document autocorrect was having none of it so I stuck with her nickname)

Lucabella Strand has finally had enough of the constant increase of rent at her apartment building, enough is enough, she is going to confront her landlords that she has never met before. When Hayden Firestone hears a commotion outside of his office he is intrigued, after stopping a near fight between a beautiful woman and his assistant, Hayden soon calls his twin brother, Zac into the meeting. When Zac and Hayden Firestone hear of Lucabella ‘’Bella’’ Strand’s problems they try and get her to listen that they don’t own that building, but they are soon shocked when she provides evidence that they do indeed own the property. When they realize who is the one stealing from them, they set about getting to know Bella; after all they believe that she is the one for them. But after a rough start will they be able to convince Bella to give them a second chance? How will they react to Bella’s secret career?

Dancing with Fire starts with Hayden sitting in his office, hearing a commotion between his secretary and someone unknown. He gets involved and is instantly attracted to Bella. He is instantly attracted, but confused as hell, as she tells him a story about rent, property not being up to scratch, and then produces their letterhead as proof. Hayden's twin brother, Zac, gets involved and they both try to figure out what has happened to Bella, whilst also trying to convince her to be with both of them.

OK, so first off, Hayden is a jerk - first class! He sees an event, has one short conversation, and assumes the rest. I really wanted Bella to make him grovel, but the fact he was clearly sorry and his apology was sincere, I could understand where she was coming from. Zac is the gentler twin, although no less dominant when he needs to be. I liked both Zac and Hayden as they rounded each other out.

With secrets and twists, this is a fast-paced novella that bounds along, taking you with it. Well written, with no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt your reading flow, this is a story with plenty of action, in and out of the sheets. Maia Dylan is a wonderful author and I look forward to reading more of her work. Definitely recommended by me.

Really cute story. A menage that finds love. Add in erotic dancing and two different dangerous situations, this boo is really action packed.
