To be totally honest I did not read every single page of this book. It was not set up well for a group study as I experienced it and just dragged on and on. There were also a lot of punctuation mistakes which drove me crazy. The content is biblically based and there are some good tidbits here and there but I would wait for the second edition which will hopefully be a more thought out and cohesive read.

A wonderful biblical foundation and theologically rich, but lacking in structure. I found myself wondering what the main plaint was of each section and how the book was supposed to flow. Also I didn’t have a clear sense of what it means to be a life-giver. I was hoping for more clear examples to instruct and inspire me.

The content was solid and biblical but so poorly organized, with so many formatting errors and typos, and with mainly such inane study questions that our group found it incredibly frustrating. Perhaps a revised second edition will be forthcoming.
