This is a humorous, adult parable about a troubled tomcat who learns how to be happily and usefully whole as a result of the life lessons he's taught by his spiritual mentor, a rabbit, incarcerated across the street for sex offenses. At the root of Nathan's problems are his restlessness and self-reliance. When family tragedy strikes and he becomes despondent, he's rescued from his abysmal self-pity by The Won (short for The Hairless Wonder), the human who adopts him and with whom he learns to coexist. Nathan's "all-too-human" reactions to humorous feline situations are a result of his self-will run riot until he meets BR (short for Bunny Rabbit), his mentor. Through BR's sage advice, Nathan learns to be responsible, grateful, and spiritual - though he is a reluctant student.
