Fandom: Harry Potter Relationship: Hermione Granger/Severus Snape -------------------------------------------------- What-if Story. Hermione Granger gets erased due to a badly phrased, vague, and bitter wish. She is Hermione Granger no more. Now, thanks to Ron, she is Hermione Ankaa Black, sister of Sirius and Regulus Black, and member of the Noble and Most House of Black. Now what is she going to do? Multiple pairings in later chapters, and JP starts out as a rampaging jerk.
This story was interesting and I would say even good until 50%. After that, it became incredibly unrealistic. I know it is about magic and that is already unrealistic, but trust me when I say this one was too much.
Hermione is sent back in time by a malevolent wish Ron made. She is reborn as Sirius Black twin sister (and a Phoenix). Yes, kids can be born animals and change forms between animals and human at their own leisure. Like animagus but babies. That was weird, but it gets worse. You have wolves babies, Harry is a goose, Minerva has kitten babies that hatched from eggs and also have wings. I’m telling you, this thing is batsh*t crazy.
Still, 3 stars because it was interesting. Relationships: Hermione Granger/Severus Snape in several time universes, James Potter/Lily Evans, Alastor Moody/Hope Lupin. The other couples were paired with other weird characters that made no sense to me.
This could have been made into a series--there were so many storylines and characters! While there were a lot of interesting bits, it was way too long and I had to skim the last 150ish pages. Loved the phoenix babies! And the animagus characters were interesting. Because of the length and storylines, it was hard to focus on a character/couple and engage with their story.
DNF I am so sorry. It started off SO good, was immediatly hooked by the plot... and then 10 chapters in I was staring at a Mary Sue that had lost all the appeal of the first few chapters. I knew I should have stopped at the centaur herd... but alas, if you enjoyed it, I wish you all the best!
