Premise: The MC is an ordinary book store shopkeeper who has an inconvenient ability to see ghosts. The MC hates this strange ability but then one day he meets another guy who also has supernatural power. The guy runs a small business of 'problem solving' and he strongly invites the MC to join him, claiming: 'It's destiny that we met'...

I do like how there is an important plotline for a female character: the school girl who is also a powerful curse worker. Plus we get a clearer picture on who is controlling the girl to do the curse work in order to make money: a shady man who is addressed by everyone as 'The Teacher', the leader of the cult the girl and her parents are in.

In this volume we can see the Teacher cursing people without a care, that's pretty frightening!

On the other hand, Mikado, one of the MC is slowly starting to notice the other MC (I mean, the creepy guy) did something very possessive and messed up to him and he is unable to break out of this curse, the interaction between these two is just, so, so interesting!!!!

I’m glad I finally picked this series up. It’s a very intriguing story with interesting characters. The whole thing still is pretty much a mystery to me so I’m dying to read the next volume.

Questa serie mi sta piacendo, ma devo dire che mi ricorda troppo XXXHolic: le dinamiche sono molto simili, ma i personaggi sono decisamente meno carismatici.

Things are happening, albeit very slowly. If I haven't watched the anime already, I'd be tempted to stop here. Chapter 18 is definitely my favorite of the bunch. We get a glimpse into the drive behind Hiyakawa's possessiveness and why he always holds people at arm's length. As with before, I enjoy how Tomoko Yamashita plays around with type through speech bubbles that are in gradient, blacked out, or inverted.

雖然不看BL，不過這套是妹妹要買的
我就為了作者破例一下XDD
作者好喜歡短髮大眼睛女角
不過看了三集還看不太懂想表達什麼

Esco da questo terzo volume un po' più convinta rispetto ai primi due.
Solitamente non sono un'amante dei manga episodici, ma devo dire che i vari casi affrontati dai due protagonisti hanno sempre quella punta di inquietante al posto giusto che mi sta piacendo parecchio.

Il grande "problema" che ho con questa serie è che sono molto più interessata alle storyline dei personaggi secondari (l'indovino, il detective e soprattutto Erika che abbiamo iniziato a conoscere meglio in questo volume) rispetto alle scene coi due protagonisti, che trovo abbastanza ripetitive e noiose. Mal sopporto il rapporto tossico e questa pretesa di possesso che si sta creando soprattutto da parte di Hiyakawa. Che poi me lo vogliano spacciare come cotta da parte di entrambi lo rende ancora più fastidioso per i miei gusti (lol).
Vedremo nel prossimo volume cosa si scoprirà sul passato del nostro esorcista...

Something I really like about this series so far is that it does such a good job at introducing dread into a scene. One second you've got Cop Who Doesn't Believe In Ghosts So Strong It's A Superpower and our main guy chatting about a weird store and then the CWDBIGSSIAS points out that they can't see the faces of anybody passing by the store and suddenly we flip to a disturbing view of several people walking by this storefront with their heads bent at unnatural angles to obscure their faces. It's a great visual bit of suspense-building, same as when Mikado is exploring a pond for a client and we start to see the client's face distort as Mikado begins to see a spirit. Other than introducing a truly astounding amount of horniness into a paranormal investigation series, Yamashita is fantastic at layering on little bits of horror into each scene. Big fan so far.

M'he proposat avançar amb sèries que tenia a mitges abans de final d'any, però crec que serà difícil enllestir-les totes ^^' aquesta, en concret, la deixo com un cas perdut. No s'entén res de res per la narració "tan misteriosa", que estic convençuda que només és l'autora enrevessant-la en excés per fer-se l'interessant... Quan ja hi ha un element paranormal a la trama, no cal complicar-se tant la vida perquè no hi ha qui segueixi el fil. Llenço la tovallola, ni la possible relació entre els protagonistes en d'esports prou curiositat per seguir...

Everything about Hiyakawa seems so off to the point that right now every time I see Mikado and Hiyakawa together, I want Mikado to run away. I know there's much more than meets the eye, so let's see how this story continues!

(I'm 100% sure Geto and Gojo's breakup in Jujutsu Kaisen was inspired by this panel from this volume)

Se puso bueno el chisme paranormal. Hiyakawa aún es extraño, el man no revela nada y yo ya quiero saber qué onda con él.
Erika Hiura, por otro lado, está a las órdenes de su padre y un don al que le dice profesor, quienes son los que están detrás de todo.

Mikado ya se le planto y le dijo que quiere conocerlo más.

Tome beaucoup plus sympa que le précédent. L’histoire est toujours autant farfelue et perchée mais cette fois-ci, j’étais un peu moins dans le flou. On suit à la fois les deux héros et en plus Erika qui devient plus importante. Il y a une petite enquête en introduction mais elle se poursuit sur une autre qui sera le fil conducteur de tout le tome 3.

J’aime toujours autant les personnages, notamment le flic qui participe fréquemment aux enquêtes avec nos deux compères. J’ai aimé qu’on commence à avancer dans la psychologie des héros. Ce que je vois profiler autour d’eux m’intéresse de plus en plus. Tome 3 très sympathique à lire. Un univers toujours aussi particulier et pas dénué d’originalité.
