His secret should have been safe… Master Sergeant Hawkins "Hawk" Greenwood has all his tickets punched—Green Beret, Ranger, Delta Force, and working ops so secret they don't show up in his personnel file. On loan to Captain Ghost Bryson’s Delta Force team as a survival instructor, Hawk receives new orders: rescue a school teacher kidnapped in Mexico. His full-blood Choctaw heritage is great for going undercover south of the border, but his secret ability to shift into a wolf makes him uniquely qualified for this assignment.
Her safety should have been assured… Anthropologist Dana Peterson assumed she’d be safe working on a project for the Mexican Department of Antiquities with her group of prep school students—until the local drug cartel kidnaps them all. The kids have rich parents to pay their ransoms. Dana has no one. Abandoned by the State Department, her only chance for freedom comes in the form of a wolf attacking her kidnappers. When a mysterious man appears to guide her to safety, it’s not desert heat she needs to worry about, but the chemistry flaring between her and her rescuer.
Her blood is the key… There’s more at stake than meets the eye. Dana has a target on her back—placed there by a shady geneticist. It’s up to Hawk to keep her safe and claim her as his mate because under the full moon, even hearts can be rescued.

It's great to be back with the pack. He's sent to Mexico to save Dana and run into trouble. But he has help with the Army and the Wolves. Glad to see the Moonstruck crew and Mc.
I enjoy reading silver James book in the susan stoker kindle world. This is the first time I read one of her books and plan to look up her series.they sound very interesting. If you decide to get this book please leave a honest review
3.5 stars. First read from this author. I lik the story well enough, there were a few things that confused me or just didn't quite get. It's like the author started of strong and then just threw the end together. I will still look at others from this author.
Hawk is sent on a special mission by one who knows what he is to rescue Dana in Mexico. He saves her and gets her back into the states via an illegal border crossing. They're met by Ghost and his crew and run into a few problems on the way before catching up with Mac and the Nightriders! I loved that my favorite characters were involved in this! We have Ghost from Susan Stoker's Rescuing series, Mac and his crew from the Blood series, as well as Easy and company from the Nightriders series! Amazing tie in with all the characters and a great story of a wolf finding his mate!
Great book that brings the Wolves, MC and Delta together
I have read several of Ms. James Moonstruck Wolves and all of Susan Stoker's series so having both in one book was very exciting and good. The Nightriders MC was a surprise so now I'll have to check out that series.
Dana Peterson is kidnapped by the cartel while leading her students in a archeology dig in Mexico. These kids aren't your average children on a scholarship but rather they have rich parents. The parent's pay the ransom but leave her behind because she's unaware of a recessive gene she has and someone will do anything to get her blood even kill.
Hawkins "Hawk" Greenwood is called in to rescue Dana from Mexico by the head of his special ops general. But he doesn't know that she'll be someone special to him and his wolf. Dana is his mate and both his wolf will do anything to protect his mate. It will take the Deltas, Nightriders MC, his former teammates and commander Mac from the disbanded 69th Army unit to get Dana to safety and his forever mate. I loved this book and give it 5+ stars.
Hawk is called in to rescue Dana from a dig site in Mexico. Her and the kids with her are kidnapped. The kids are released when ransom for $1 million is paid for each, but the school is putting anything up for the teacher, Dana. She doesn't understand why she was left behind. Hawk is sent in undercover to get her back. I love reading shifter books, but it's a little hard to get into the reality of this book when military men are wolf shifters. But I did enjoy the book and the action going on.
I really enjoyed this book. Nothing like a paranormal military romance. Hawk was sent to Mexico to rescue a kidnapped teacher. When he finds her, he realizes she is his mate. Dana can't understand why she was left behind. The kids have been returned to their parents. The government has abandoned her, but why? With a little help from friends, Hawk will bring her home. Failure is not an option for his mate.

Our heroine loves ancient things and teaching, too bad she also has a recessive gene that her own government wants. Our hero is Army Special Forces, very special, which makes him our heroines only chance at freedom. It takes the help of some very special friends to figure out why our heroine was really sent on her field trip.
This book was captivating. The action was fast paced and edge of your seat exciting. Hawk was a one man destruction squad. Caring for and protecting Dana was his mission but realizing that she was his mate was unexpected. Dana was a trooper and try as she might, she fell for Hawk no matter much she tried not too. Having Ghost and his Delta Force team show up in the book was icing on the cake.
Alrighty I’ve found another author who has more series to explore when I finish all the rest of this series. I’m not good at writing reviews but I know when something works and I like how this story unfolded. Can’t wait for the rest.
Absolutely loved this novella.. it combined Stoker's Delta team and James's wolves. Great corroboration for these authors. A must read If you love both of these authors Happy Reading!!
When Dana and Hawk meet the fires of love ignite..Dana is his mate and he must get her to his Home..Keeping Dana safe and finding who wanted her killed is the best ending.
This is an entertaining alpha male/alpha wolf shifter story. It has great characters and a story with mystery, excitement, and love. Very enjoyable and imaginative.
This was a well written quick read story. The characters are well developed and likeable. The storyline is well paced and very engaging. Highly recommend!
From the beginning to the end I read this book non-stop! It was intriguing romantic mysterious and loving! I would definitely recommend this book to read!
Well having a wolf changing in a Greek God why not?t
Well that's really beautiful, never thought about a crossover like this but sure than hell it works really good, Hawk it's definitely a funny joke but it puts two strong animals in one soul and how can't you fall deeply in love with him with such aureus?? Well I saw a lot of wolfs but and I had one close never thought it could change in a well Greek God like Hawk or I would never run in the opposite direction ...great story I read it all in a breath and well the time had flown really fast..... when will you write the next? I am here waiting THANKS a lot!
In this book you meet again Ghost, Truck and others again from Susan Stoker's book. I got into and the shifter what made me laugh when Dana knew Hawk was a wolf and wanted to see him change but told him no licking.
Awesome. Loved it like I love all of Ms. James' Wolf stories. Hawk is awesome. Dana is cool. I loved the appearance by some of the other Wolves. Totally lived up to my expectations. =o)
This book combines cartels, kidnappings, government agencies, shifter and a great love story. When Dana and her students are taken hostage in Mexico her students parents pay the ransom but no one pays for her. She is left captivating e with no hope of a rescue. Hawk is a Master Sergeant in the Army and is tasked with rescuing Dana on a date me man mission. Silver James does a great job with the story and character development and keeps the different threads of the story clear concise and untangled. How Hawk and Dana escape through Mexico Cross the border and into Oklahoma is a great story to read and I highly recommend this book.
