Walter Bosley is no stranger to mysteries or diving into hidden secrets. Bosley is a former counterintelligence specialist with the FBI and Special Agent in the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI).
"Shimmering Light" has heart! It is an in depth, sometimes intense, search for answers—answers about the past, the unseen threads that bind father and son, families to history, and the mysteries that lurk in the shadows of both personal and collective memory. Bosley bravely tackles the challenge of unraveling his own family’s story, reaching for a deeper understanding of events that may have been forgotten or overlooked. Through this lens, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery and uncovering truths that might have otherwise remained hidden.
What a book! Bosley faces a deeply personal challenge, an emotional journey into his family’s history, with the added complexity of potentially uncovering difficult, perhaps even painful truths. Bosley uses all his skills and insights in search of truth. This dual struggle is palpable, ie, that of understanding one’s personal legacy while trying to piece together the facts, adding layers of depth to the narrative. Bosley’s courage in confronting his own family history allows the reader to appreciate the delicate balance between personal attachment and objective analysis, as well as the emotional toll of seeking the truth.
The search for truth in "Shimmering Light" is not just about historical facts, but about finding meaning in the unknown. Bosley’s approach is both methodical and yet deeply human, recognizing that the truth is often elusive and shadowed within ambiguity. His journey invites us to question the very nature of truth itself. Can a truth ever be fully known or will it is always filtered through a deep, personal perspective? The result is a book that doesn’t just tell a story but encourages the reader to struggle with the complexities of uncovering history, one revelation at a time.
"Shimmering Light" is a thought-provoking exploration of the intersection between a deep personal history and larger historical narratives. Walter Bosley’s willingness to confront difficult truths, both about his family and the broader history, adds an incredible level of authenticity to this work so rarely seen.
Frankly, I was thrilled, even shocked, at the depth of “Shimmering Light”. What would you do if faced with such a challenge? Would you step up and ask the questions of your heart, knowing you may never get the answers you seek?

A satisfactory non-solution

The author here tries to resolve some unique occurrences from his father's life and military career. While wielding the twin swords of logic and careful speculation he walks a very strange battlefield. Material and speculation covers topics from MK-Ultra mind control, to secret military operations or encounters, to possible OTHERS living with us on this planet whom we may not even regularly notice.

If you want a solid solution from evidence, you won't get it here! If you may want an exploration, a good wander through fringe beliefs, you will find that here.
