Rate this book
The world of Jazmyn Eristov changed forever when she woke out of a fugue to find herself on a narrow ledge, attempting to rescue a strange, exotic looking man from jumping.
She didn't remember how or why she was there; she only knew that she had to rescue him, that his life was important, and that he lit every fiber of her deepest, most intimate parts aflame.

She didn't expect to die.

In the world of the Nephilim, however, Death is only the beginning...

Dear Lex,
We are going to have a STERN conversation about this book. HTF do you end it on a cliffhanger like that? I thought we were cool! I thought we were friends? How could you do this to me! Like, oh man.

Ok, so this is a well written well paced story. It's written as if it's happening right outside being told by a young women who's just found out in the span of day that she's A.) Not human B.) not in love with her bf that's she's been in love with since she could talk C.) A LOT stronger than most people think she should be.

With that said, all the characters are well done. Jason is the lost puppy, Emily is the awesome bestie, Bri is the "other girl" and Jaz is the girl who literally bounced back. This is a book that could EASILY become a series all unto itself. And if it hit TV, I'd watch the f outta it.

This is another great listen to another one of Alexa Nichols' stories and this was really, really, really good so much that I was drifted away to such a great plot and amazing characters! She cranks another home run! Can't wait for the next story!
