What a Wonderful book and I know that I will be reading it again. Omg I thought the story was going to end a whole other way at first but thank goodness it didn't and Ace was a butt so glad she didn't end up with him Seriously!!!! Tat and Shaunie fight for their love and proved to everyone especially Dallas that their love was meant to be this was an amazing book from beginning to end. Awesome work A.C. Taylor can't wait to read more of your books in the future!! Happy reading everyone and enjoy the rest of your evening...

Very Good
Tate been in love with Shaunie forever. I hate what Ace was trying to do to Shaunie. You cannot make someone love and be with you because you have a child together. Glad Tate and Shaunie are together. On to Dallas story. A.C. you are a very talented writer.

Enjoyable!!
My first book from A.C. Taylor and definitely not the last. Tat and Shaunie went through so much to be together,.. Their love and patience finally paid off.
Part of me feel bad for Ace, in a way he is a good father to little Aiden.
Great storyline and characters.

Tat, having the girl he wants at arms length and not being able to have her, was a tough pill to swallow
Shaunie who was ready to walk away from Ace is now pregnant with his kid. They agreed to try to work things out, only problem, Ace is no longer the one that is on Shaunie's mind. Ace's betrayal only helped Shaunie to move forward with the one who has heart. Ace just couldn't bare losing the mother of his child to another man so he threw a monkey wrench in plan that brought everything to a halt.
Nina, Dallas baby mother was not out here to play games with him. She was so over his BS and wanted to just move on with her life. The only thing she wanted with Dallas was to co-parent, nothing more, nothing less. But Dallas just wouldn't let her be.
Dallas not being one to be tied down had to admit, out of his 3 baby mamas and flings it was something about Nina that kept him intrigued. No matter how hard she tried to move on, he was always there to intervene. With some growing up and witnessing the love his bestfriend had for his sister, Dallas knew in his heart that he wanted that too. His only problem was... He just couldn't trust himself not to hurt the woman that he loved.

The overall story was good but needs a trigger warning
I thought the main plot of the story was good but the subplots were questionable. I think the author needs to put a trigger warning at the beginning of the book about extreme homophobia. I'm a heterosexual and I believe in love for everybody with whoever and the stuff said about gay people in this book made me uncomfortable. It was too much. It was the same in another of this author's book about abortion where a character was very pro-life. You never who is reading your books; could be gay people, people who had abortions, or people who support them. Either way, if you don't want that type of audience or want to be more considerate of them a warning would be wise.

Friends to lovers - my favorite trope. I will say that even though Shaunie and Tat weren't together, it weirded me out when Tat was still having sex with other women and we saw it, on the page!!! That could have been left out. I know he has every right to do what he wants. He's not committed to Shaunie but in my romantic mind I want Tat to be celibate until Shaunie dumps her baby daddy. LOL! Other than that, I enjoyed the story. Tat's family i did not like. Shaunie's brother Dallas is a too much (and his book is next. ugh!). Baby daddy drama was a little over the top and I wish it was resolved more quickly. Or didn't go as far as it did.

Great BET love story.
This is a great BET and Hallmark story for everyone to see. This have a great storyline because the characters displayed different reactions to a problem/s. It showed where everyone were in their journey. How we all react differently in the same situation or different situations. The story for me inspires me to keep appreciating what I have, respect how people feel or will feel, have positive reactions, persevere, and to have patience. Great story A. C.

Great read—Tat & Shaunie 😍
Loved this book by A.C. I have read some later books by her but not some of her earlier ones. I must say that Tat & Shaunie were everything! Though things got a bit messy, he never gave up. Ace was dead wrong & though I get what he was attempting to do, still was wrong & not fair to Shaunie at all. Hopefully Dallas will get his crap together. Guess we will see in the next book 😊.

Love the drama!
For a second I thought that Ace was going insane. The man just refuse to let Shauni go. But Tat is a persistent man and he wasn't going to let her go. I was excited that Ace finally got some sense knocked into his head because Shauni wasn't going to submit without a fight.

Let’s Make Love Tonight was a good read, I enjoyed the chemistry between Shaunie and Tat. Not sure why those two waited so long to get together since it sounds like they both liked each other. At times Shaunie annoyed me acting like a baby instead of a grown women, mother and business owner.

This was my first read by this author. I feel like the story was all over the place. The majority of the story was about Shaunie trying to get away from Ace. There was less focus on Shaunie and Tat.

I’ve never labeled s book like this but this is by far the cutest ever written series. I cannot wait to see what other books come out from these characters. I’m glad no one was killed or in jail it was a def change of my normal reads

I hated that the female lead character was seemingly strong minded and still allowed her baby daddy to blackmail her about her son even though he had another child by another woman...made no sense to me. Took away a star for that. Otherwise, cute and sexy story.

Excellent Drama
With all of the twists and turns, Shaunie and Tat's relationship went through, they were a match made in Heaven. Despite everything that they faced, their story showed that love does conquer all, they simply needed to erase their fear and fight!

This book was very enjoyable and worth the read. For the life of me, I can't and don't understand why men lie and keep secrets cause what's done in the dark usually comes to light. Very well written, and honestly so relatable. Part 2 here I come.

I love Tat! #DallasBae was stubborn the whole book but that's any brother. I loved Shaunnie and Tat...felt kinds bad for Ace because it just wasn't clicking for him. Great Read.

Disappointed
This was the first body of work I'd be reading from Ms Taylor and I will admit I'm disappointed. The writing was okay and the plot was honestly, a mess.
Potential Spoiler Alert:
For characters who've known each other for some time, it didnt seem like they had much chemistry. I feel like I barely knew them and the characterization was all over the place. Shaunie wanted nothing to do with Ace, but was just hoping he'd magically change his jacked up views. He threatens her and she doesnt look into viable options just takes his word for what it was. Not to mention the ending where shes having an engagement party for Ace and youre telling me not one of her friends texted her prior to ask was she serious. This book had plenty of potential, but fell short.

Tat's my new bae! I Ioved his energy and his heart. Tat was in love with Shaunie, and she was pregnant with Ace's baby. Initially, I thought Ace was an okay guy. He was a lawyer with a busy practice. But, he seemed to be a good guy. Tat was the best friend to Shaunies brother who was always helping his friends sister. Along the way, his feelings grew deeper and stronger. By the time Shaunie finally admitted it was over with Ace, she was already pregnant. And Ace began showing his true colors when he got his lil feelings hurt after Shaunie chose Tat. The fool went ape spit cooky and became a despicable man aimed at revenge over losing his woman. Don't mention that he had lied, and kept secrets from her. What kind of father would use his child as a pawn in a game of deception?? Tat, on the other hand was the real man Shaunie needed. Additionally, the back story with Dallas and his women was funnny and nice. Miriam was the mean girl villain in this story and Travis's story added the flair for dramatics.

This was another great read by author AC Taylor. Tat and Shaunie is meant to be together, you could feel the connection throughout the story. Girl you had me wishing many times to jump into this story n just slap some sense in Sha butt! I'm glad that it played out the way that it did though.. she shouldn't have let Tat fine butt get away from her anyway.. Ace psychotic jealous behind don't deserve anybody the way he carried on how did he think that she was just gonna fall bk in love with him smh... that brother of hers tho is sum else lol I can't lie he kept me laughing lol will him n Nina hve a story after part 2 of this one, there IS a 2 book in the making right

Ac girl you did it again!! I loved Tat and Shaunie!!! The love they had for one another was breath taking. It is so refreshing to read a true and realistic love story. Another great read, Ms Taylor!
This was a good book. I really enjoyed reading Shaunie and Tat's story. It's amazing to see the lengths that people will go all in the name of "love." What they're actually doing is giving love a bad name. However, this story shows, once again, that real love conquers all!

I truly enjoyed this book. It was a good read that flowed really well. Even though the characters were young, I think everyone of all ages can relate. I loved the happily ever after. I will be reading more from this author!
