This book contains explicit material detailing the on- and off-camera exploits of the cast and crew throughout the production of jackass the movie, including firsthand accounts, photographic documentation, poor grammar, interpretive dance, and one crappy diagram for something that's not even shown in its entirety in the movie. It also features frank and revealing interviews with Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Chris Pontius, Steve-O, Ryan Dunn, Dave England, Ehren McGhehey, Preston Lacy, Jason "Wee Man" Acuña, and Brandon Dicamillo, pertaining to their absurd world of stunts, pranks, parental abuse, male undergarments, and a bunch of other page-filling nonsense. MTV strongly advises that neither you nor your dumb little buddies attempt to read any of this material. In fact, they would prefer you used it to point at clouds, rainbows, or any other naturally occurring atmospheric phenomena instead.
really delightful little book. wish i had gotten my hands on it earlier in my life because i think i would've enjoyed it even more under the circumstances of a fixation but. theses things happen. notably i did spend $140 on a copy of this, and back in 2022 that was the cheapest i had ever seen it - but i didn't actually get it into my hands until about a month after i started phasing out of my jackass fixation which is rather heartbreaking. and then i just never had time to read it. but finally here we are. definitely a delightful piece for any jackass connoisseur to own, but perhaps not an essential unless you're really a collector (which i do consider myself to be sort of despite being a bit of a cheapskate college student with very little space). a lot of stuff in here i had already seen/learned about - though some of the pictures were new to me, and others i'm rather excited to have such crisp versions of. the breakdown of the history of big brother was probably my favorite part of this just because it's the part of jackass history that i'm least familiar with. definitely a lovely little romp through jackass history.
